The Hand Jive Competition

Matthew Rodin is a Broadway sort of YouTube guy I guess.

I looked him up, I'm still not sure who he is. But that's not important right now.

Playbill magazine put him together with the cast of this Sunday's live production of Grease - airing on Fox at 7PM (6 Central Time, I always wanted to write that).

Why put them together?

To see who's better at doing "The Hand Jive" from the musical.

Check it out - and get pumped for the show Sunday night too.

Who can do the hand jive faster, Matthew Rodin or the cast of Grease: Live?! Place your bets now!

"I Play for Jack's Blood"

The games they play on the late night talk shows are pretty simple.

Until Lauren Conrad and Jack Black visited Jimmy Kimmel Live! the other night.

The game they played sounds simple: Name That Thing.

As it turns out, not so simple after all.

Check it out - Lauren and Jack had to name some not-so-common items.

And they didn't do as well as either of them thought they might.

"They Looked Underwhelmed"

John Oliver taped a behind-the-scenes segment for The Tonight Show the other night.

The topic: My Worst Audition.

John talks about auditioning for a deodorant commercial in England.

And the humiliation of having to take his shirt off for the audition.

Interesting and funny story. Nice of John to share his pain with us...

"People Didn't Want Me To Die, But He's Dead"

The new season of Game of Thrones is still a couple of months away, and the question of Jon Snow's fate continues to loom over just about every GOT discussion.

In an interview with Digital Spy, Kit Harington, the actor who plays/ played Jon Snow, was pretty definitive about his character's fate:

"People didn't want me to die, but he's dead. So there you go, everyone has to get used to it.”

This flies in the face of the scenes for the upcoming season he's been spotted filming in Ireland.

One camp says they're simply flashback scenes.

The other camp says fie on that, he's alive!

And here we are, all waiting for confirmation that won't come until mid-April.

I'm Sorry, You've Got What in Your Bed?

This isn't really funny, but it really is.

A 99-year-old woman in Miami woke up not too long ago in the middle of the night to find a kinkajou on her chest.

She called her son-in-law, terrified. She didn't know what it was.

He rushed over and found it in the attic. "A cross between a monkey, and a cat" is how he described it.

The kinkajou is a tropical mammal, not native to Florida.

Turns out, it was someone's pet. Probably a pet that someone shouldn't have.

Certainly not something anyone should wake up to on her chest!

Your Next Cruise Destination: Muskegon

Ah yes, the great port cities of the United States that are the starting points for wonderful cruises.

Fort Lauderdale.

Los Angeles.

Muskegon.

Yes, Muskegon. The one in Michigan.

There are reports that the city with the largest population on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan is actively recruiting cruise lines to use its harbor as a destination.

Because, you know, nothing shouts cruising fun like Muskegon, Michigan...

(With all due apologies to any of you living in Muskegon)

Back to the Past With DeLorean

It's been 34 years since a DeLorean has rolled off an assembly line anywhere.

You probably remember the DeLorean best as the Back to the Future car - the one that Doc Brown turned into a mobile time machine for Marty McFly's trips through the years.

A company in Texas has been given the rights to build a small number of the cars - about 300 total at the start.

And talk says they'll run about $100,000 each.

Personally, I don't see one being worth that much, but I don't have $100K to spend on a car, so they're not targeting me anyway...

How about you?

"I'm a Red Panda?"

Dustin Hoffman visited The Today Show to talk about his voiceover role as Master Shifu in the Kung Fu Panda franchise.

It's funny to note that he just figured out - after voicing three movies - that his character is a red panda, and not a raccoon.

The rest of the interview is pretty amazing too, especially when you find that he turned down doing movies like Close Encounters of the Third Kind and Schindler's List.

It's also amazing to note that he's 78 years old.

Wow!

Could This Be the End of the Road for Kimye?

According to In Touch Weekly, the fairy tale West/Kardashian romance has hit the skids.

They've been arguing non-stop for months, say sources.

One source even claims that Kanye was ready to divorce Kim shortly after the birth of their son, Saint.

Now, the word is they're going to attend marriage boot camp, and maybe even renew their wedding vows.

You know, to keep things fresh.

I'm not so sure.

What's the over/under on Kim going one way and Ye the other?

The Return of the Ice Age

I don't know why, but this little video is making me chuckle.

I stumbled across it yesterday, and I've already watched it a dozen times.

Makes me laugh every time.

Someone dressed up as a Tyrannosaurus Rex and slapped on some ice skates.

And then ventured out onto an ice rink in Minnesota.

The Facebook page is Trex Tuesdays - "because every Tuesday needs a T-rex," they say.

Funny stuff...
