Wiz Khalifa says he will top last year's $11 million by adding another digit to his net income.
Wiz Khalifa landed on Forbes’ annual Hip Hop Cash Kings list in 2011, netting $11 million from touring, merchandising and album sales. During an interview with Forbes.com at his Taylor Allderdice listening party, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania rapper said that he plans on adding another digit to his income by the end of 2012.
“Oh yeah, man, I’m going to make $100 million this year,” he said. “No doubt, $100 million. The new mixtape [will] get everybody ready and get their wallets open.”
Forbes estimates that he pulls in an average of $70,000 from concerts on a nightly basis, which will most likely increase to $100,000 per night by the end of the year. He is currently gearing up for his mixtape release, as well as his sophomore album O.N.I.F.C.
Rapdose.com reports that the earliest Max B can leave prison is November 9, 2042.
The rapper, real name Charly Wingate, was convicted on 9 of 11 counts of murder and robbery charges as the result of an incident in New Jersey that left David Taylor shot dead.
In April 2011, Max B was hopeful that he could be released from prison in the Summer of 2011. “The appeal process is done, finally. It's been done for about a month now," he said then. "Now what they do is, the prosecutor responds back and you get a letter. They tell you you’ve got to wait eight to 10 months for a response from the appellate court. You might see me in the summer. You might see me at the end of the year. I'm just waiting on the appellate courts, all my paperwork is done."
Rihanna is really stepping up her acting game as of late, and sources are saying that Clive Davis is considering her for the role of Whitney Houston in a biopic that he is producing. Rihanna has some stiff competition, with Jennifer Hudson and Jordan Sparks also on the short list for the lead role.
Will Smith’s 11-year-old daughter Willow Smith is thought to be portraying the actress as a child, and Vivica Fox is being considered to play Whitney during the years leading up to her death.
Clive Davis is finalizing the script now and hopes to begin shooting immediately. Who do you think would do a better job at playing Whitney – Rihanna, Jennifer Hudson, or Jordan Sparks? Brandy has also spoken out about the “dream role.” Or perhaps a newcomer would do a better job? What do you think??
