From the tender age of 5, DJ Lil Vegas knew what he wanted to be when he grew up. Following in his dad’s footsteps, Vegas began playing around with records, including scratching up some of his father’s collection. By the time he was 10, he was DJing for weddings and parties and starting to create a name for himself. As a freshman in high school in 2009, Vegas started mixing for North Carolina A&T’s college radio. He graduated in 2012, and became a 102 JAMZ Mix Squad member the next year. Because he grew up listening to 102 JAMZ, this was a dream come true. DJ Lil Vegas has had the chance to play for Rick Ross, Drake, Waka Flocka, Jeezy, French Montana and many more… all before the age of 18! In the future, Vegas hopes to tour with an artist or become a program director. In the meantime, Vegas is the youngest DJ on the 102 JAMZ Mix Squad. You can catch him mixing during the 3 Live Crew morning mix, and the 20 Minute Workout with Big Mo.
