After yesterday's sneak peek of Nicki Minaj's November 201 cover of Cosmopolitan Magazine, the actual pics are now out.  And the "Super Bass" rapper is revealing her former suicidal thoughts, and happier things like making millions upon millions some day. Pics and quotes inside... Onicka revealed in the new Cosmo that it took going through some dark times to get to where she is now: “It was one dead-end after another. At one point, I was like, ‘What would happen if I just didn’t wake up?’ That’s how I felt – like maybe I should just take my life.” “I would pray to God to make me famous, so I could buy my mother a huge house.” And about where she sees herself in the future: “I’ll have hundreds of millions of dollars. I will have put out five albums and will have an Oscar and Grammys. And I will be getting married and, a couple of years after that, [I] will have a bun in the oven.”

NFL Network's Deion Sanders is divorcing over wife's fame

Deion Sanders said he and his wife are divorcing. He cites his wife's fame as a reason for the split. CAPTION By Tony Dejak, AP Hall of Fame cornerback Deion Sanders has filed for divorce because he feels his wife has become too famous.

According to Yahoo! Sports Sanders, currently with the NFL Network, said the success of the Pilar Sanders' reality show was the final straw.

"Enough is enough. I never signed up for all this. Enough is enough.," he said of his wife of 11 years. "If I wanted a model or a television star I would have married one a long time ago. All I wanted was a housewife."

Raven Symone must not have made the best impression on her ABC Family bosses with the first season of her "State of Georgia" show.  Because it just got the axe.

Raven made her tv comeback this summer with her "State of Georgia" 30-minute sitcom, centered around an aspiringactress who leaves the South to become a big star.  But ABC Family just cancelled it saying the show failed to attract viewers.

The network ran 4 of her new episodes back to back several weeks ago seeming to push out the last of the shows as quickly as they could.

Tupac Shakur

"Live by the gun, die by the gun."

Tupac Shakur was born Tupac Amaru Shakur (Tupac means "shining serpent" in Inca) in New York City in 1971. He went on to have very successful careers as an actor & rapper. Look around the web for his career information, you know that’s not our gig. That said….

On September 7, 1996, Tupac was in Las Vegas to attend a boxing match between Mike Tyson and Bruce Seldon. He was staying at the Luxor Hotel-Casino. The fight was being held at the MGM Grand Hotel, and he was attending with Marion “Suge” Knight.  Knight is the co-founder and owner of Death Row Records which was Tupac’s recording label. They sat at ringside along with bodyguard Frank Alexander and another friend of Suge’s, in $1000. seats. Also seated at ringside were actors Louis Gossett Jr. and Charlie Sheen, as well as baseball great Reggie Jackson and the Reverend Jesse Jackson. A song that Tupac had written for Tyson, Wrote the Glory, was played over the public address system as Tyson made his entrance. Tyson won the fight in less than two minutes and everyone got up to leave while Iron Mike fed on the carcass.

As Tupac, Suge, and their entourage made their way through the lobby of the MGM to the entrance, they became involved in a scuffle with Orlando Anderson, of Compton, California. Exactly how it started is unknown, but the incident was recorded on the hotel cameras. It was broken up by security guards. Tupac and company left, and Anderson declined to follow through with any charges against the group. Tupac and his crew then headed one block south to the Luxor Hotel. Tupac was sharing a room with Quincy Jones’s daughter, Kidada. After changing his clothes, he and the rest of the crew headed to Suge Knight’s house in the Paradise Alley Township of Las Vegas. Kidada stayed behind at the hotel. Tupac was wearing a black and white basketball tank top, with baggy blue jeans and black and white leather sports shoes. Around his neck, on a heavy gold chain, he wore a large gold medallion.

Around 10 PM, the group left Knight’s house to head for Club 662, a nightclub that Suge owned on 1700 East Flamingo Road. Tupac was going to perform with the rap group Run DMC, and Mike Tyson was planning to stop in as well, to sing along with the group (kidding). Tupac was riding in the passenger seat of a black 1996 750 BMW sedan, with Knight driving, and four cars following them. They headed out on the Las Vegas Strip. At 11:05, Knight was stopped on the south end of the Strip by a bicycle cop for playing his music too loudly, and for not having license plates displayed on the BMW. While the car was stopped, a photographer took a picture. It would be the last picture taken of Tupac alive. After talking with the police officer and opening his car trunk, Knight was let go without getting a ticket. The entourage then made a left on to Flamingo Road, drove past the Bally’s hotel-casino, and headed towards Club 662 two miles away.

The convoy came to a stop for a red light at Koval Lane, which was a half-mile from the Strip. Knight’s car was boxed in by cars in front and back of him. To the left of the BMW was a Chrysler sedan with four young black women seated inside. They smiled at Knight and Shakur, and the two men smiled back. Then a white late model Cadillac pulled up to the right of the BMW. In it were three or four men. One man stuck a handgun out from the left rear window, and fired thirteen bullets into the BMW. Five bullets pierced the passenger door. Tupac tried to get into the back seat, but he was wearing his seat belt. He was hit three times, once in his chest, another in his right hip, and the third in his right hand. Knight was hit in the back of his neck. Two of the BMW’s tires were shot out. The Cadillac then made a right turn onto Koval Lane and took off. Hearing the gunshots, police arrived at the scene.

My friend EJ Fleming sends us this, "Suge said that after they were shot, he turned to Tupac and said, "Are you OK Pac?."  Tupac saw the blood on Knight's head and said, "Me?  You're the one shot in the mother-fuckin' head!" Knight then decided to drive Tupac to the hospital. Trying to drive through heavy traffic on the Strip, his car hit the median, and caused a third tire to go flat, forcing the car to stop. The police arrived, and paramedics were called. Suge and Tupac were taken to University Medical Center, a county hospital nearby.  Tupac said over and over, “I can’t breathe, I can’t breathe”. As the ambulance got ready to leave, Tupac said, “I’m dyin, man”. At the hospital, he was placed on life support, and underwent three surgeries to try and stop internal bleeding. The second time, his right lung was removed.  For six days he was in a drug-induced coma with visitors such as MC Hammer, Mike Tyson, Jasmine Guy, and the Reverend Al Sharpton coming to see him. Tupac’s mother, Afeni Shakur, had flown in from Atlanta the day after the shooting.

On Friday September 13th, 1996, Tupac Shakur died from his wounds at 4:03 PM. His mother identified his body at 5 PM, and he was taken from the hospital to the morgue three blocks away, where an autopsy was performed. One autopsy photo managed to surface, and here it is.  Be warned, it is pretty gruesome. The official cause of death was listed as respiratory failure and cardiopulmonary arrest, in connection with multiple gunshot wounds. After a small service in Las Vegas, Tupac was cremated, and probably scattered at sea. Two more services would be held in Tupac’s memory, one in Harlem, and the second in Atlanta.

To date, no one has been arrested in connection to the killing.  One of the others in the entourage, Yafeu Fala, was in the car behind the BMW. He said that he saw the shooting, and would testify. Two months later, he was murdered in New Jersey. Some say that Tupac was killed due to his ties with gangs, which he denied. Others say that he was killed because his mother was once a Black Panther. There was also a supposed feud between Death Row Records and the New York based Bad Boy Records, run by Sean “P. Diddy” Combs. He also had an ongoing rivalry with Christopher Wallace, AKA the Notorious B.I.G. Is there anyone that didn't want him dead?  Then there are the rumors that his death was faked, and he is still alive. Paging Elvis Presley....

His mother continues to release his music, and he has made more money now than when he was alive. Two films featuring Shakur, Gang Related and Gridlock’d, were released in 1997.

Trivia: He starred in the movie Poetic Justice with Janet Jackson, and miss nipples supposedly demanded that he take an HIV test before she would shoot kissing scenes with him.

He was supposedly a big fan of Jim Carrey,

He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, and studied acting and dance at the School for the Arts, and dated Jada Pinkett-Smith.

He is supposedly listed as the most successful gangsta rapper in the Guinness Book of World Records.

Monica just released the video for her new song "Anything (To Find You)," featuring Rick Ross, off her seventh album, New Life. The clip mostly takes place in a warehouse and features the R&B songstress in an array of colorful outfits, aided by some high-energy backup dancers. Rozay also pops up briefly to spit his verse.

Today, we remember the 10th anniversary of the 9/11 attacks.

I remember my tv was left on the news channel as i closed my eyes for a nap, after working an over night shift at the

radio station I was working at, at the time.

I woke up when the 2nd tower was hit and my heart sank. I thought it was a movie but then I can hear the

news anchors pranking and crying and saw people that were in the towers leaping to their death and I cried, I cried for them and

what was happening, I cried because I had no clue as to what was happening. I remember I called my daughters' school and rushed

to pick her up but had to wait at a stop light for 10 long mins due to the army tanks coming off the highway.

Fear set in..i believed in my heart the world was ending..where were you when the attacks begin and how did you feel?

If you don’t know who Adele is by now, you’ve probably been living under the biggest rock ever for the past year. The British singer has managed to capture the hearts of many with her soulful and elegant voice and her album ’21′ has single-handedly dominated the charts for most of the year. She’s covering the October 2011 issue of Vogue UK magazine where she speaks about the music industry’s weight obsession, her unusual ritual before she hits the stage and why she prefers being single.

On getting pre-show jitters: “I puke quite a lot before going on stage. Though never actually on stage. But then, I sh*t myself before everything … the bigger the freak-out, the more I enjoy the show!” On the entertainment industry’s weight obsession: “I’ve seen people where it rules their lives, who want to be thinner or have bigger boobs, and how it wears them down. And I don’t want that in my life. Meanwhile, her single ‘Someone Like You’ shot straight to number 1 on the Billboard chart after last week’s MTV Video Music Award performance. Her album ’21′, has sold 10 million copies worldwide, since it’s release in the UK in January and US in February and is on track to sell more than 13 million by the end of the year. Amazing!

The 10-year anniversary of the 9/11 tragedy is just six days away, and as the eve of one of the most devastating events in American history approaches, rapper Soulja Boy has sparked controversy over a lyric in his new track, ‘Let’s Be Real’. In the song he disses the FBI and Army Troops:

“F–k the FBI and f–k all the army troops… fighting for what? B—h be your own man… I’ll be flying through the clouds with green like I’m Peter Pan.”

*Rihanna is suing over a hillside home that she claims has structural defects that rendered it uninhabitable.

The pop singer on Wednesday sued Prudential California Realty and several companies that designed and inspected the home, reports the AP.

The singer’s lawsuit claims she would not have paid $6.9 million for the home in 2009 if she had known about the problems. She claims water leaked into several rooms of the house from a balcony that lacks the proper slope and drainage after a rainstorm in early 2010. The suit states the damage left the home “uninhabitable.”

She claims Landmark Design Group, which remodeled the home, has failed to make necessary repairs.

The word is that Free could be replacing Mo'Nique as the host of a BET talk show. "The Mo'Nique Show" was canceled earlier this year, and there's a rumor that Free is in talks with the network to try her hand at hosting a talk show.

Apparently BET and Mo'Nique hit in impasse when the actress demanded that her salary be doubled.

Oakland native and leader of the ‘White Girl Mob,’ Kreayshawn had a lot to celebrate last night as she was nominated for her first MTV Video Music Award for Best New Artist, but subsequently lost to Tyler the Creator. Conveniently, an hour after the show aired, a nude photo of Kreayshawn surfaced online via her twitter which was allegedly hacked. (Is Someone’s taking notes from Amber Rose handbook?) As of now, her account is suspended and Kreayshawn is blaming the photo leak and hacked twitter on ‘anti-Hollywood’ extremists.

My twitter got hacked today by some anti-hollywood extremists. They sent out wack ass tweets and promoted their odd message of anti-jew stuff and deleted my twitter.. Oh and they leaked out private photos of me while I was underage. Real nice guys! Spreading child-prono thats cute. VMA’s was insane on top of that. Can I sh*t man? I ain’t even mad.

Beyonce just showed up to the MTV VMAs with a very special guest -- HER FETUS.

Just a day after the leak of superstar Lil Wayne’s blog-igniting track “It’s Good,” a two-fisted cut that’s making noise for its perceived brazen diss at hip-hop legend Jay-Z and his omnipresent wife pop-R&B queen Beyonce, the skateboarding Gremlin doesn’t seem at all fazed. During an interview for an upcoming Oct./Nov. VIBE story, Wayne says he’s not worried about any fallout from the presumed lyrical barb at the Watch The Throne MC which features Drake and Jadakiss as Weezy snaps, “I got your baby money/Kidnap your bitch, get that how much you love your lady money.” (The sneering line comes off as a rebuttal to Hova’s Birdman-aimed “H.A.M.” slap “Really you got baby money…You ain't got my lady’s money.”)

“I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did,” says a confident Wayne when asked if he had second thoughts about recording his acidic verse for ‘It ‘s Good.’ “I know for a fact music is about perception. You can’t do anything but perceive what you hear. I know that for a fact. So I can’t ever be upset about someone’s reaction.”

Wayne added that while he understands the intrigue and buzz behind the record, it’s just another song. “I’m not going to say I don’t know what would happen before I even say [something on record],” he explains. “I do know what will happen. I’m aware of it. But it is what it is.”

Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith are still happily married.

Just last month they opened the doors of their home and happily posed for a revealing and intimate photo shoot for Architectural Digest.

But according to new reports, Hollywood power couple Will Smith and wife Jade Pinkett-Smith have decided to separate.

The pair, who have been married for 13 years, decided to call it quits on their marriage recently, according to In Touch Weekly magazine.

This will be the second marriage to end for Men In Black star Will, 42, who divorced Sheree Zampino in 1995 after three years together.

The couple had a son, Willard Christopher Smith, also known as Trey who is now 18.

He then met Jada and they wed in 1997.

Will and Hawthorne star Jada, 39, had two children together - Jayden, 13, and Willow, ten.

Smith also has a son with his first wife Sheree Zampino, whom he was married to from 1991 to 1995.

This split, if true, comes as a surprise. Jada told Ebony back in 2009 that divorce was not an option.

“When Will asked me to get married, I said, ‘Understand this, there will be no divorce. So, you might be in one bedroom and I might be in another, but we’re gonna be under the same roof and we’re gonna be married,’” she said.

In sad news, Nick Ashford, one-half of the husband and wife songwriting/production/duet team Ashford & Simpson, died today after throat cancer complications.  Details when you read on...

The legendary and soulful Ashford & Simpson suffered a major loss today as 70-year-old Nick Ashford died, reportedly due to radiation and throat cancer complications at a New York hospital.

The Dream has put out a video for "Murderer," a single that will be featured in an upcoming movie called Colombiana, starring Zoe Saldana.

The song will be featured on his 10-song 1977 album, which will be available for free download on August 31st.

As soon as I typed “meet the Basketball Wives LA cast,” I thought to myself… do I have to? Well, yes, because this franchise is reproducing like roaches, so we might as well get familiar. 

Basketball Wives LA airs this month, so there won’t be much time to detox yourself from the current crop of Basketball Chickens and their antics before a new spinoff show begins. Anyway, here’s a quick who’s who…

Imani Showalter is the former fiancée of Milwaukee’s Stephen Jackson. She’s the mother of 3, a former singer and claims she hasn’t dated since breaking up with Jackson. Hers will be a story of “finding herself” and will probably result in some sort of “Don’t Be Tardy For The Party” dance track.

Draya Michele is a video model who apparently has done the horizontal mambo dated several basketball players but isn’t currently linked to one. I’m not quite sure why she’s on this show. Maybe she’ll be the new Royce… you know, the one who’s attached to a player but can’t ever speak his name on TV.

Laura Govan is the former girlfriend of Orlando’s Gilbert Arenas (who’s quite the loose cannon in his own right). She’s the mother of his kids and rumored to be Shaquille O’Neal’s one time side piece.

Gloria “That’s What’s Up” Govan (fiancée of LA’s Matt Barnes and source of Shaunie O’Neal’s microscopic nostril flare-ups) returns and this time, she’s brought her sister along for the ride.

Malaysia Pargo is from Compton and married to Chicago’s Jannero Pargo (who?). I’m “Compton stereotyping” in my head right now. Bad Witch…bad, bad Witch.

Kimsha Artest -who did not make the cast photo (were the tatts too much?)- is the former wife but still girlfriend (I can’t figure it out) of LA’s Ron Artest Metta World Peace. They’ve been together nearly 20 years but he recently announced they’ve been divorced for years, then he backtracked and said they’re still together.

Jackie Christie is the mother of all basketball wives. She’s married to retired NBA player Doug Christie. She made a name for herself as a controlling wife when she insisted on traveling with the team during her husband’s playing days in an effort to keep groupies away. The couple also renew their vows every year. Honestly, she’s the only reason I’d watch this show.

…Sesame Streets says ‘No’. Forget About it!

In an effort to promote tolerance and equality to children, a petition for Sesame Street to wed famous roommates and BFFs, Bert and Ernie was started on the website Change.org earlier this week. Lair Scott from Illinois began the petition stating that we are living in a culture where LGBT kids are committing suicide at an alarming rate, and having iconic characters like Bert and Ernie getting married will show children that there’s nothing wrong with being gay.

Sesame Street caught wind of the petition and answered with a statement that even though the muppets have lived together for over 40 years, they simply aren’t gay and were created to teach tolerance!

So far, neither Lionsgate nor Tyler have spoken publicly about their plans.  Now this is a BIG f'in deal.  Congrats to Tyler!

Meagan Good is probably thanking her lucky stars that her father is an LAPD police officer after being pulled over by cops this past weekend.  On Sunday, she celebrated her 30th birthday with a private party in LA and was pulled over by cops shortly after she left the event. According to Meagan, the cops assumed that she had been drinking since she was leaving her own party:

For the record all … I DID NOT get a DUI. I got pulled over because the valet turned my lights off. Once they found out I was leaving my own birthday party, they insisted I must of had at least a drink and expressed they’d feel more comfortable with someone else driving me home.

I definitely wasn’t gonna argue with that because I recognize God’s grace when I see it, and whether I had one drink or five drinks, the law says zero drinks so I’m thanking God I got through my 30th and praising God for the grace only he can give!

According to In Touch Weekly (the TV show, not the blog), actress Stacey Dash was fired from VH1′s popular scripted hit show, “Single Ladies.” According to Jawn Murray, a search has been underway for Dash’s replacement for weeks.

He tweeted that Dash clashed with co-star LisaRaye and other cast members of Single Ladies, which led to her dismissal from the show.

This is shocking news to “Single Ladies” diehard fans who tune into the hourly show each week to see Stacey’s adorable walk and what she’s wearing.

Murray tweeted that Inside Weekly is “recasting” for Stacey’s part. It seems strange that it would take so long to find her replacement. It’s also odd that Stacey tweeted this message to her 146,000 followers earlier today.

She hardly seems upset if she was fired.

Episode 10 airs tonight on VH1 at 9 p.m. EST.

After weeks of waiting, The Throne finally dropped their highly anticipated debut last night. So far, reception has been mixed. Hours later, producer 9th Wonder, who has worked with Jay-Z, chimed in and gave his thoughts of the album via his Twitter account (@9thwondermusic ). Here’s what he had to say:

Thank you God for giving me the ability to listen to music objectively, despite how big the artist is. Lemme tell yall something, I am not a follower, never will be, if something is dope, cool, if not, then cool, but I don’t follow. #STANDTALL. I just checked it out.#WTT. WTT as a whole is not for me. I can rock with “New Day” & “The Joy”. I understand expansion/experimentation in music, but its not for me. It has nothing to do with samples vs. keys, cause I ROCKS with The Neptunes, Swizz, etc. So lets see who’s the first Hip-Hop blog will be the first one to put up my thoughts of the album. Outkast member Big Boi has been arrested with illegal drug possession.

The 36-year-old rapper, who’s real name is Antwon Patton, was exiting a cruise ship on Sunday in Miami when customs officials stopped the artist, reports TMZ.

Law enforcement say Patton was carrying ecstasy pills, Viagra and MDMA powder, a type of drug that can induce euphoria and spark intimacy with others.

According to TMZ, the “The Way You Move” hitmaker was charged with three counts possession of a controlled substance and one count possession of drug paraphernalia.

But Patton’s lawyer, Daniel Kane, will be “completely exonerated.”

"While Big Boi was traveling with his group and friends, a small amount of contraband was found in the collective luggage," Kane said in a statement to CNN. "I am confident when the entire facts are aired Big Boi will be completely exonerated."

Soon after the rapper was posted $16,000 bond, he took to his Twitter page to announce, “Fresh out, baby!”

Variety reports that two of the three most visible Young Money rappers have landed voice-acting parts in the forthcoming 3D cartoon Ice Age: Continental Drift. Nicki Minaj and Drake will both play parts in the movie, which opens next July. They join a cast that already included one rapper, Ice Age mainstay Queen Latifah, as well as Ray Romano, Jennifer Lopez, Denis Leary, and Aziz Ansari. Time to start an online petition to get Lil Wayne a role in this thing too!

Rapper Big Boi was arrested for possession of ecstasy and viagara earlier today in Miami, FL. Get the deets inside....

Looks like Big Boi had a wild weekend in Miami, and he capped it off spending a few hours in jail today.

One-half of the rap group Outkast, Big Boi aka Antwan Patton, was stopped by customs and border patrol officials, armed with drug-sniffing dogs, who nabbed him as he exited a cruise ship earlier today.

He was charged with three counts of possession of a controlled substance (ecstasy, Viagara, MDMA powder) and one count of drug paraohernalia possession.  If you are wondering why he got pinched for the Viagara, it's because he didn't have a prescription.    And all of the charges are felonies.

He was booked around 1:30pm local time held on $16,000 bond before being released. SMH......but sounds like someone had fun on the waters this weekend.

And I'm proud of that, that we do have a generation that is just making great music, period," she said.

Brown also confirmed the news on Twitter, sharing that some other artists would be joining the twosome on their forthcoming tour. "Me and Kelly Rowland along with other incredible artists are going on tour!!!! I'll let u know who else is on later! Lol," he wrote.

Recently, Brown's "See No More" collaborator Joe Jonas shared that he'd love the chance to hit the road with the VMA-nominated singer. First Picture Of Lauren London's Son With Lil Wayne

Although Lauren London and Lil Wayne do their best to keep their private life under wraps, a reported first picture of their child has been revealed.

As previously reported London shocked a number of people this year when she revealed that she and the Young Money rapper were previously engaged.

Now the first photo of their child Cameron Carter has reportedly surfaced. Atlanta gossip blog StraightFromTheA.com reports that this is the first photo of Weezy's second son.

Wayne has four children; a daughter with Toya Carter, a son with Nivea, a son with Sarah Vivian and a son with Lauren London.

J. Cole still waiting on a verse from Jay-Z for "Cole World: The Sideline Story,” says he will no longer release a new mixtape.

Although J. Cole initially announced that he would be dropping a new mixtape before the September release of Cole World: The Sideline Story he has now revealed that he will longer be releasing that mixtape.

Rather than release the full mixtape Cole will instead leak the songs that would have been featured on the mixtape in the weeks leading up to Cole World: The Sideline Story.

In an interview with Hartford, Connecticut’s HOT 93.7, Cole explained that he chose to not release the mixtape primarily because of how close the dates for the release of his mixtape and the release of his debut album would have been.

“I’m not gonna put out a mixtape,” said Cole. “I just decided this, but the music I was gonna put on the mixtape I’mma just slowly drop it. I’ll just drop it out online and they’ll find it. You know, my fans will find it how they will. I’m confident. I don’t wanna run and drop a mixtape. I don’t want people to get confused with that. I don’t want them to love it, because they’ll love it. If I put out a mixtape they’re gonna love it cause I don’t know how to put out a bad mixtape. That’s the problem. So I don’t want them to fall in love too much and them my album comes four weeks later, five weeks later. We only eight weeks out. That’s not a long time. I’ll be giving them songs in the meantime so it’s cool.”

Cole also revealed that even though we’re only weeks away from his album’s release he’s still waiting to receive a verse from Jay-Z.

“I haven’t even heard his verse. He [Jay-Z] got five days to turn that in,” Cole explained. “I don’t know if I like need to change my verse yet or not. If he tries to kill me then I’mma change my verse. Yea, I’m not going out like that. The hook is on there and everything so he’ll get it.”

Cole World: The Sideline Story will be released on September 27^th.

Amy Winehouse was cremated yesterday at the Golders Green Crematorium in London, England.

Family and friends attended the ceremony for the soulful singer, but what many are talking about today is the bugged out photo op Amy's bodyguards took with her cremated remains.

Andrew Morris is the man pictured in the middle, the bodyguard who found Amy's body and called for help.

Amy's dad, Mitch Winehouse, read a final message to his beloved daughter, in his last words to her, "Goodnight, my angel, sleep tight. Mummy and Daddy love you ever so much."

EX NBA STAR JALEN ROSE HEADED TO JAIL

Former NBA star and ESPN contributor Jalen Rose is headed to jail! Starting next week, Rose will serve 20 days in jail for his drunk driving arrest in March. This morning a judge sentenced him to 93 days in jail, but suspended all but 20 of them. If you recall, Rose didn’t tell his ESPN supervisors about the arrest, and subsequently got in some hot water.

You may remember he crashed his SUV on a snowy suburban Detroit road earlier this year. Rose pleaded guilty and faced up to 93 days in a jail, a $500 fine and court costs.

According to Rodney Ho of the Atlanta Journal’s Radio & TV Talk Blog, the Mo’Nique Show has been canceled. That’s too bad. We never got the chance to watch it…

Earlier today, I heard that “The Mo’Nique Show” had been axed. I had sent an email out to various BET publicists to ask what was up. No word back. At about 1:30 p.m., I called Rodney Perry, who was Mo’Nique’s sidekick on the show. He said he was running into a meeting and didn’t answer my question. While I was at lunch over at the mall court, at 1:40 p.m. EST, he texted me: “I was told indefinite hiatus.” That’s a euphemism for canceled.

In an interview I did at 2:40 p.m., the stand-up comic said he enjoyed the experience working with Mo’Nique. “I’m selling out shows now,” he said. “That’s a win.” He heard the news from Mo’Nique’s husband but hasn’t spoken to the Oscar-winning actress yet. (He wouldn’t say when he knew about this, implying he has known for awhile.)

Kim Kardashian is an "internationally known celebrity, model, television personality, actress, entrepreneur and pop culture icon."

Really, that's what it says in the federal lawsuit she filed Wednesday against Old Navy and its parent company, Gap.

Kardashian is looking to collect $15 million to $20 million in compensatory and punitive damages from the retail chain for its unauthorized use of her "name, likeness, identity and persona" in Old Navy's Super C-U-T-E ad campaign, which launched in February, TMZ.com reports

The "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" star says Old Navy intentionally cast a Kardashian look-alike (Canadian-born Melissa Molinaro, an actress and singer who lived in Rochester Hills during her teens) so the public would think Kardashian was affiliated with company.

There's an odd twist to the story: Molinaro has been romantically linked to Kardashian's ex, New Orleans Saints player Reggie Bush. Molinaro's rep didn't respond Wednesday to interview requests from Names & Faces.

However, Molinaro did sound off about the suit on Twitter: "We're still talking about this?! Its JULY this aired in February ... some people have too much time on there hands."

While Lil Kim fans were excited to hear the Queen Bee on a new track with Monica, their joy may have been short lived now that Kim's been removed from the single.

As previously reported Monica debuted her track “Anything (To Find You)” that samples The Notorious B.I.G.'s “Who Shot Ya” and includes a verse from both Kim and Rick Ross. Now according to Monica Lil Kim's been taken off the track by Biggie Smalls' mother Voletta Wallace.

Wallace, who controls the late rapper's estate, has reportedly blocked clearance for Kim to appear on the track to the dismay of not only Monica but the track's producer---Missy Elliot.

Obviously frustrated about the situation, Monica took to Twitter to say,

“I am just finding out what has happened to my single and myself & Missy are beyond hurt that @LilKim was removed. She's our friend, a legend & @LilKim will get the respect she deserves at all cost. The clearance was revoked & I'm fighting to get it reinstated by the Biggie Estate. FOX News Criticizes Chris Brown

Chris Brown rocked the performance friday, though fans were beyond happy some people were NOT!

FOX News host Laura Ingraham went in on NBC Friday for letting Chris Brown perform and asked viewers if the network was "rewarding bad behavior."

Speaking on Brown she said,

"You may remember the singer Chris Brown, he pleaded guilty to beating his then girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009. Sane Americans were disgusted by his bad behavior but that did not stop him from getting top billing this morning on The Today Show."

Ingram and FOX didn't stop there however, they also took to the streets before the performance showing fans pictures of a battered and bruised Rihanna and asked them how they felt about it.

"Just wanna show you this one picture, here's a picture of Rihanna after the incident and I've never seen a picture of Chris Brown where it showed that he had any sort of injuries anywhere close to this."

Just after midnight, as hundreds of protesters jeered and called her a baby killer, Casey Anthony became a free woman. Wearing blue jeans and a bright pink top, Anthony, 25, walked out of the front door of the Orange County Booking and Release Center in Orlando, Fla., at 12:14 a.m. Sunday.

“She had a look of relief on her face,” said Tony Zumbado, a photographer selected by the jail to witness her release. “There was a smile on her face. She looked glad to be out of there.”

She had been given $537.68, the remaining money in her inmate account, and provided a police escort into a gray SUV, which drove her off into the hot, humid Florida night.

An angry crowd had formed outside the jail. Police on horseback tried to maintain control of the more than 300 people.

“Casey, rot in hell!” yelled one person. Others shouted, “Casey, you killed your daughter!”

“I don't see how any African-American, with any inkling of history, can say that you don't have the right to live your life how you want to live your life,” Irvin said to the magazine. “No one should be telling you who you should love, no one should be telling you who you should be spending the rest of your life with. At a party at the nearby Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgender Community Center, Martin Everall, 48, said the bill reflected that “We want what everyone else wants.” Gov. Cuomo signed the bill into law at 11:55 p.m. last night. It will go into effect July 24. The vote came after four members of the Senate’s GOP majority sided with 29 Democrats in a public roll call allowed by Senate Majority Leader Dean Skelos (R-Nassau) after two weeks of intense pressure by Cuomo and gay-rights groups. “I’ve very proud of New York and the statement it’s making to the nation today,” the governor told lawmakers in an unusual post-vote speech on the Senate floor. But Diocese of Brooklyn Bishop Nicholas DiMarzio quickly blasted the bill last night, saying Cuomo and lawmakers had “deconstructed the single most important institution in human history.” He said he asked all Catholic schools to refuse any “distinction or honors” from the governor or lawmakers who voted for the bill — and that schools “not invite any state legislator to speak or be present at any parish or school celebration.” “They’re entitled to their religious beliefs, but they can’t use them to prevent someone else’s rights,” countered bill supporter Jeff Rutsky, 53, of Midwood, Brooklyn. Only three of the city’s senators — Ruben Diaz Sr. (D-Bronx), Martin Golden (R-Brooklyn) and Andrew Lanza (R-Staten Island) — voted “no.” Revisions were added to exempt religious-based institutions from having to participate in a gay-marriage event — and protecting them from discrimination lawsuits. After the vote, celebrities quickly weighed in on Twitter. Lindsay Lohan declared: “Proud to be from NY!”

Her ex-girlfriend, DJ Samantha Ronson, added: “Divorce lawyers all over New York State are celebrating tonight! YAY!”

With his highly anticipated album Tha Carter IV inching closer to a release, Lil Tunechi covers the latest issue of XXL Magazine.

In the issue, Wayne touches on a number of topics, including retirement, where he says Tha Carter IV may be his last album. “I'm bowing out still on top," he said.

According to details obtained by TMZ, Lil Wayne's baby mama and The Dream's ex-wife, Nivea, plowed her 2006 Mercedes into a tree that had fallen into the street after a recent storm at 1:30am on Sunday.

Cops said when they pulled her over she had "bloodshot, glassy eyes and smelled like alcohol." And she then told the cops she ONLY had 3 drinks earlier in the evening.  Nivea girl...we saw the wedding reception pics.  You LOOKED it.

She also told them she didn't see the bright yellow crime tape and the traffic cones directing cars away from the downed tree. *red flag*

The singer was arrested on suspicion of drunk driving and reckless driving and the child who was in the car with her was not injured and released to her boyfriend.

Is Rapper Bow Wow a Father?

June 02, 2011. GOOD NEWS, rapper Bow Wow is officially a FATHER. His former girlfriend Joie Chavis gave birth to a lovely young girl, Shai Moss. But it wasn't easy. Joie had a very complicated pregnancy and ended up having an EMERGENCY C-Section. Bow Wow has privately ACCEPTED paternity (pending a blood test) and even AGREED to come to the hospital for the birth. Unfortunately because of the EMERGENCY NATURE to how little Shai was born - Bow didn't make it. Both Shai and her mother Joie are doing VERY WELL. And Shai looks EXACTLY like her dad.

“I had talked about taking a vacation before, but always ended up in the studio after two weeks, so no one believed me. This time, though, I was serious. I was going to give myself a year to do the things I never get to do.
