Memphis rap group Three Six Mafia will be among the first artists to ever be inducted into the Smithsonian’s new Memphis Music Hall of Fame.
Three Six Mafia is among the initial 25 musical legends from the state, who will be honored in a ceremony this November.
Artists like Otis Redding, Elvis Presley, Al Green, The Staple Singers, Jerry Lee Lewis, Isaac Hayes and others will be the first artists to be inducted into the Memphis Music Hall of Fame.
The musical group’s selected for the Memphis Music Hall of Fame were determined by avoting body of authors, historians and music industry executives.
An induction ceremony for the group’s will take place at the Cannon Center for Performing Arts in Memphis, on November 29 at 7:00 PM.
