LAPD Apologizes to B.I.G.'s Family

The death of The Notorious B.I.G. (born Christopher Wallace) has plagued the Wallace family for 15 years, as his tragic 1997 murder has gone unsolved. But, unfortunately, the family was dealt another blow last week, when the LAPD unexpectedly released Biggie’s autopsy report to the public. Now, the LAPD has apologized to the Wallace family for what they’re calling an administrative error.

According to the LA Times, the LAPD released the autopsy report on Dec. 7, saying that they intended to release the report “as an investigative tool, in the hopes that releasing the report would stimulate additional interest or bring forth witnesses or clues in the case.”

However, the 23-page autopsy report, which details the drive-by shooting death of Biggie, was released early and the Wallace family was not notified of its release.

“Due to an administrative error, the autopsy report was released prematurely. Robbery-Homicide Division detectives had intended to notify Mr. Wallace’s family prior to releasing the report,” read a statement from the LAPD.

“Our detectives personally spoke with the Wallace family [Friday] night, and apologized for not notifying them prior to the release” said Capt. Billy Hayes, who heads  the Robbery-Homicide Division, which is investigating the killing. “Obviously this has been a challenging case for us to solve. We hope that witnesses or other people with information will come forward and give us the clues we need to solve this case.”

However, Perry Sanders Jr., an attorney for the family, has chastised the LAPD for failing to notify the Wallace family about the autopsy report.

Typically, autopsy reports are released shortly after the coroner has completed its investigation. However, in the case of many celebrities, like Biggie, an autopsy report is withheld while the investigation is still going.

Sadly, Biggie’s death isn’t the only unsolved celebrity murder.

Allen Iverson: Buried in Bills but Still Drives the Maybach

Former NBA star Allen Iverson
is digging himself into a giant financial hole -- with monthly bills that largely outweigh his monthly income -- but the good news is ... he's still got his fancy-schmancy Maybach.

Allen recently filed docs in GA court as part of his nasty divorce battle with his ex Tawanna Iverson which outline his dire financial situation.

According to docs, Allen brings in $62,500 in monthly income, but his expenses are FAR, FAR, greater ... costing him a cool $358,376.66 PER MONTH!!!!

So where does all his money go?

A large chunk -- $125,749.33 to be exact -- is spent paying off various creditors (
like his jeweler) ... and some goes to his mortgages (but not for long, since his ATL crib is about to be auctioned off).

But Allen says he blows a lot on OTHER expenses too ... like $10,000/month on clothes, $10,000/month on grocery/house items, $1,000/month on dry cleaning, $5,000/month on entertainment, $5,000/month on restaurants ... and so on.

All in all, Iverson -- who reportedly made over $150 MILLION during his NBA career -- says he ends up in the hole each month to tune of $295,876.66. Ouch.

Despite the mounting debt though, he's still got his Maybach (which is fully paid off) ... and reportedly worth between $340k - $400k.

'50 Shades of Grey' Leads to Divorce?

"Fifty Shades of Grey" has been seen
as the book to read if you want more action - just look at how many parents say it helped bring about a baby - but it might also inspire divorce.

The Daily Mail reports that a 41-year-old banker has petitioned for divorce in Britain's High Court because her husband's "boring attitude" toward sex is an example of "unreasonable behavior," which, under the nation's law, is one of five grounds for splitting up a marriage.

The Daily Mail reports that the wife bought the book imagining it might encourage her partner to be more adventurous in the bedroom, and read it with hopes that it would spice things up.

"She thought their sex life had hit a rut - he never remembered Valentine’s Day and he never complimented her on her appearance," the wife's attorney told the paper. "So she bought sexy underwear in an attempt to get her husband more involved. She said, 'Let’s make things more interesting.'"

The husband allegedly still didn't "take notice," and the wife "told him he had a boring attitude toward sex and she was fed up," the attorney continued.

The attorney claims that the husband "went ballistic when he found out the name of the book" his wife had been reading, and blamed her sexy efforts on "the bloody book."

According to the Daily Mail, the husband is agreeing to the allegations of "unreasonable behavior" in order to get the divorce granted quickly.

If the book is causing this many waves in relationships, we can only imagine what the movie will do.

Rihanna: Chris Brown & I Remind Me of Whitney Houston & Bobby Brown

Rihanna and Chris Brown have been rumored to be back together for months, and these days it's almost certain the entertainers are a couple once again, but according to new reports Rihanna's view of their relationship is more than a little alarming.

HollywoodLife reports that Rihanna has been telling friends that her romance with Brown reminds her another famous couple -- Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown. A source revealed to the website that Whitney and Bobby's song "Something In Common" perfectly describes her feelings for Chris.

“Their relationship is like the early Whitney and Bobby day. Ri was watching Bobby and Whitney’s “Something In Common” video the other day and said ‘This is just like Chris and me. For real though, that’s the type of fun we having right now. I love Whitney. She was my girl. Can’t nobody do it better than her," the source told HollywoodLIfe, adding that you can see her relationship with Chris is "real love ... like ain’t no bullshi**ng. The s**t is magical and it’s real.”

Of course the comparison between the two couples is rather unsettling if it's something Rihanna is romanticizing. The 24-year-old "Diamonds" singer wasbrutally beaten by Brown in 2009, and Whitney and Bobby's relationship was not without its own violence. In 2003, Bobby was charged with misdemeanor battery for hitting Whitney and reportedly threatening to “beat her ass.”
