81 Year Old Woman Almost Dies While Skydiving

Laverne Everette, 81, got more than the thrilling experience that she was seeking when her harness came off while she was skydiving with professionals. The good news is that she survived without injury. Take a look at the first video which shows Everett holding on for dear life. The following video is an interview with the elderly woman.

NeNe Leakes Is OVER the Reality TV Scene

The fifth season of the Real Housewives of Atlanta began filming about three weeks ago but NeNe Leakes says that she is already tired of playing that character. "Everybody wasn’t expecting me to come back [to the RHOA fifth season]," she tells Vibe. "It was really a hard decision for me to even think of coming back because I was so tired of the whole reality thing. And not just being tired of it — I had other things in the works." Other things in the works like her recurring role on NBC's hit show Glee (btw, has anyone seen her on the show?) and the new NBC sitcom, The New Normal.

Leakes feels as if she has outgrown the show that made her famous in the first place. "You gotta have drama and entertainment, but some of the stuff has driven me insane. I do really think that it’s personal growth. It’s almost like being in a relationship and you’re like, I've taken all I can take and I can’t take no more. I sort of felt the same way with the show — I’ve taken everything I can take, I’m just tired."

Angela Simmons & Not-So-Little Romeo An Item?

Angela Simmons and rapper Romeo were recently spotted leaving the Cheesecake Factory in L.A. with Romeo's arm wrapped around Simmons' shoulders. The two are rumoured to be dating although rumours linking an engagement between Simmons and rapper Bow Wow were floating around just last week. We have to hand it to Simmons and Romeo...they are a great looking couple if this is true.

B. O. B. Earns His Fifth Platinum Single

B.o.B earns platinum certification for his second single off of "Strange Clouds."

B.o.B’s single "So Good" has been certified platinum.

The track becomes the second single off of his recently released sophomore album Strange Clouds to surpass the million sales mark. The title track, which features Lil Wayne, hit platinum in February.

“Congrats to @BoBatl!!! #SoGood is officially PLATINUM w/ 1,000,000+ sold!!!,” tweeted Bobby Ray’s manager, TJ Chapman.

This marks the fifth platinum single that B.o.B has released, including "Nothing On You", "Strange Clouds", "Airplanes",

Strange Clouds, which hit stores last week, debuted at No. 5 on the charts with 75,000 copies sold.

Andre 3000 to Star as Jimi Hendrix in New Movie

(AllHipHop News) Outkast rapper Andre 3000 will begin shooting his highly anticipated role as Jimi Hendrix this month in Ireland.

IFTN reports that Andre 3000 is starring in the biopic titled “All Is By My Side.”

The biopic will reportedly document the time Jimi Hendrix spent in England, as recorded his debut album Are You Experienced, while plotting his return to America.

“All Is By My Side” is being written and directed by John Ridley, the writer behind movies like “Red Tails,” “Undercover Brother,” “Three Kings” and others.

“All Is By My Side” will start shooting in Dublin and Wicklow, Ireland for six weeks.
