They always said 2012 would be a crazy year. Not playing into the hype or anything but our neighbor just to the south experienced a magnitude 7.4 earthquake at 12:02 PM on 03/20. The earthquake epicenter was in Guerro, Mexico which is in the central part of the country but was apparently sending people in Mexico City running into the streets and Mexico City isn't even close! The President of Mexico reported no major damage but from these photographs, I beg to differ. Aftershocks continue.
President Obama's first daughter, Malia Obama, was on a school trip in Oaxaca, Mexico at the time of the earthquake but was reported safe.
Amazingly, no deaths have been reported so far in the earthquake but no injuries either.

Tyga was not hurt and it isn't clear if he was even present. It all occured after hecklers in the crowd left the concert, pulled up next to the van, and shot at it.
