Last night @LupeFiasco went on a Twitter rant about how he felt his vote wasn't necessary in the election. Those tweets caught the attention of author and CNN analyst @Rolandsmartin who responded by highlighting the certain states and cities (Yes High Point, NC!) that helped to give President Obama the win during the 2008 presidential election. Roland menitoned how Obama won North Carolina by just over 14,000 votes in 2008 and gave a special shout out to the great city of High Point for their historic turnout at the polls that year.

The generations and the ideologies of these black men are different.
So we have to ask:
Are you registered to vote and are you going to vote to elect local, state and federal candidates?
Is choosing to not vote also taking a political stand and what justifies that inactive approach?
