More questions have arisen, as details continue to emerge following a grand jury's decision not to indict former Officer Darren Wilson in relation to the murder of unarmed teen Michael Brown. As a federal investigation continues, The Smoking Gunhas uncovered information which suggests that one of the key eyewitnesses lied during her testimony.
Sandra McElroy, revealed to be "Witness 40″, told the grand jury that Brown had "battered Wilson then rushed the cop like a defensive end," a talking point which was later picked up by a number of publications including Fox News. Ironically however, it has been discovered that McElroy was not even in the vicinity during the shooting.
Shortly after the grand jury verdict she posted a picture of the crime scene with a caption that read "Michael Brown already received justice. So please stop asking for it." Even more disturbing is the fact that she has admitted to being bipolar yet admits she doesn't take medication to regulate the mental illness.
On December 16 Rev. Al Sharpton claimed the report provided the Brown family with additional hope. "[It's] not a fair process" Sharpton told the New York Daily News.
Google's Trending Music Artists list consists of 10 artists and takes into consideration Google searches made in the United States.
On the list, Iggy is followed by Lorde, Sam Smith, Meghan Trainor, and Solange Knowles.
Another artist to top one of Google's lists was Nicki Minaj. The Queens, New York rapper's "Anaconda" record was featured on Google's Trending Song Lyrics list at No. 2. Minaj was also the only Hip Hop artist to be featured on the Trending Music Artists list.
In addition to topping Google's Trending Music Artists list, Iggy Azalea will reportedly be featured on a single with pop singer Britney Spears next year.
According to XXLMag.com, the Aussie musician revealed the news during an interview on Boston's Kiss 108 this week. She says the two recorded several songs together and one of them will serve as the pop star's first single from an upcoming project.
"We have a song, which is going to be her first single, coming out next year," Iggy said during the interview. "I still haven't really got to have a conversation with her, so I'm hoping New Year's will be the time I can get her in a corner…We recorded a few different things and then one of those just ended up being, I think, undeniably great."
Though specific charges were not disclosed, in a phone conversation with Wondering Sound, Katie Cornell—the New York Police Department's Director Of Public Information—says "these arrests were the result of a long-term investigation" that uncovered "a number of violent incidents as well as narcotics trafficking." She also says that her office "has a sealed indictment against a number of individuals" that will be revealed early on December 18.
REVOLT reports that the arraignments will take place in the Manhattan Supreme Court.
Representatives from Epic Records were not available for comment as of press time.

As we know by now, Lifetime enjoys shaking up social media with their biopic's as they try to go to places people really wouldn't expect.
They tried this strategy during Aaliyah's movie with her rumored relationship to R. Kelly. This time they are trying it again with Whitney Houston.
In the late 1980's one of the hottest rumors were that Houston was secretly dating her personal assistant Robyn Crawford. It went so far that the singer had to continue denying it in several interviews, even saying, "What others do shouldn't matter. Let people talk. It doesn't bother me because I know I'm not gay. I don't care."
According to a report from the Daily Beast, the movie hints at the relationship, but does not specificially go into detail about a possible romantic relationship between the two, which is being said to be one of the "juiciest parts of the film."
Do you think Lifetime should include it in the movie?

"As we mark 30 years of Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductions, we're proud to honor these artists," said Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation President Joel Peresman. "These Inductees epitomize Rock & Roll's impact over the past 50 years and continuing through today."
This was the second time N.W.A. made it to the final round of the selection process for the Hall. The collective, consisting of Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, DJ Yella, MC Ren and the late Eazy-E, was previously nominated in 2012. So far, Grandmaster Flash and The Furious Five, Run-D.M.C., the Beastie Boys, and Public Enemy are the only Hip Hop acts to be voted into the Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame.
While N.W.A will not be part of the 2015 Rock Hall class, they will be celebrated next year in a major motion picture. Cube recently screened the trailer for the Straight Outta Compton biopic in Australia. The film is scheduled for release in August 2015.
With over 20 allegations of sexual assault and rape currently being made against longtime comedian and actor Bill Cosby, there is at least one case that will not be pursued by authorities after Los Angeles prosecutors have decided not to charge Cosby in the alleged molestation of Judy Huth.
According to Huth, Cosby sexually assaulted her during a visit to the Playboy mansion where she says she was told to lie about her age, (she was 15 at the time.)
According to court documents the prosecution declined to pursue the case based on the fact that "…40 years have passed since the alleged incident, prosecution … is declined due to the expiration of the statute of limitations."
Sony execs joke about not including Jaden and Willow Smith in any movies following the pair's interview with the New York Times.
As part of the now notorious Sony hack, emails between two Sony execs poking fun of Jaden and Willow Smith, have surfaced.
According to AllHipHop.com, the emails were between TriStar chairman Tom Rothman and Doug Belgrad, president of SPE's Motion Picture Group. The email exchange between the two execs centered around the Smiths' recent interview with the New York Times.
Titled "Jaden and Willow Smith on Prana Energy, Time and Why School is Overrated," the New York Times' story consisted of a Q&A with the two children of Will and Jada Pinkett-Smith.
In the email between Rothman and Belgrad, a link to the Times' story was forwarded and a joke about not including the Smith children in any movies was made.
A screen capture of the exchange, obtained by AllHipHop.com, can be found below.
During their interview with the New York Times, Jaden and Willow Smith spoke on a variety of topics including fashion, their new music, and the possibility of collaborating together.
"Me and Jaden just figured out that our voices sound like chocolate together. As good as chocolate tastes, it sounds that good," Willow Smith said when asked about a possible collaboration with her brother.
As part of the Sony hack, a number of emails sent by execs at Sony have surfaced online. Among those targeted in the emails were comedian Kevin Hart, actress Angelina Jolie, and President Barack Obama.
The hack has also resulted in the release of several unreleased Sony films.
Wiz's romp with Playboy model was reportedly filmed.
Playboy model Carla Howe, one half of the Howe Twins, is seeking a six-figure offer for a sex tape of herself and rapper Wiz Khalifa, TMZ reported today (December 15).
"Our porn sources tell us vixen Carla Howe is very close to making a deal with Steve Hirsch at Vivid Entertainment," TMZ says. "Carla's totally down to sell the footage for the right price. Problem is ... if Wiz doesn't sign off ... Vivid can't release the porno."
Both Wiz and Carla posted pictures of themselves with exposed nipples on social media last week. The rapper and the model both reportedly admitted to engaging in intimate relations, but Wiz says he was unaware of the filming.
"Wiz and Carla hooked up last week, took a bunch of pics," TMZ says. "We're told Carla's footage shows Wiz looking right into her lens, and shooting with his own phone camera… But it makes no diff -- sources close to Wiz tell us he's not interested in the sex tape going public."
"Amber walked in on him with two women," Rosenberg said in October. "Same time. Twins, twin sisters. Twin biological sisters…The thing that everyone's saying, 'But they've been broken up for a long time.' Well, someone tweeted me yesterday from those twins' Instagram a picture of them and Wiz from 14 weeks ago, alright? Just three weeks ago on Wiz and Amber's Instagrams they're celebrating their love for each other and things like that…It was a home. And that wasn't some new home that was just his. That was a home that he's had. That she slept in. That's how she got in there. She had a key. This wasn't some separate thing. It's a place she goes to."
In June 2012, while promoting Mac + Devin Go to High School, Snoop Dogg spoke about Wiz Khalifa's spirit in an interview with HipHopDX.
"Wiz loves to smile," Snoop said at the time. "He loves to make people happy. He's not afraid to say, 'How you doing?' He's also a realist. There's no wall. When you've got that, that makes it easy. It's very attractive. See, that's like a magnet. People are attracted to that."
Last week, we've seen Lil Wayne tweet's about wanting out of Cash Money. His recent statements at the 20th Anniversary VICE Concert only confirmed that Wayne's next albumTha Carter V, wasn't being released. But Birdman isn't down with that. According to TMZ, Birdman won't let Wayne leave Cash Money because he is still under contract. Cash Money will drop Tha Carter V, but it won't be Weezy's decision on the date.
We'll keep you updated on this story, but for now, things don't look so good for Cash Money
Speaking with Miami radio station99 Jamz, the Cash Money president assured that the release is ready for early next year and addressed the delays.
"He's touching up the album and about to start another special project for the people," he said. "I can't give a definitive date [for Carter V]. I can just say first quarter for sure. We're still in talks right now, trying to get the plans together. The industry shuts down towards the end of the year anyway. It's coming out. Don't get it twisted like it's not coming out...He wants it out, the fans want it out."
When asked if Baby and Cash Money have delayed the release, Mack Maine said that behind-the-scenes work has been the reason for the wait.
"It's a lot of stuff that goes on with putting an album out," he said. "It's way more behind-the-scenes that goes on with deadlines and stuff like that. Everybody should want this album to be out anyway in any company. It's actually four companies involved in it: Young Money, Cash Money, Universal, and we have a solid partner that we haven't announced yet. We're gonna put it out a special way this time."
Mack Maine also touched on the perceived beef between Lil Wayne and the label and said, "It's just some business that's gon' need to be handled."
"Everybody has their breaking point," he said. "I support Wayne 1,000 percent. I feel like this matter will get resolved. Period. If I'm still around it'll be resolved."
During the interview Mack Maine also addressed Tyga's status at the label, Pusha T's recent Tweets inviting Lil Wayne to G.O.O.D. music, and more.
The latest news from Sony's data breach reveals that Spike Lee wanted Drake and Kevin Hart as lead actors in a sequel to his 1988 movie "School Daze."
With more and more information making its way to the Internet from Sony's recent security breach, one of the latest revelations comes from an email from Spike Lee's agent to the head of Sony Pictures Entertainment about a possible follow-up to the director's 1988 movie School Daze. In the email, Lee's agent, Doug Belgrad, offers up the possibility of the sequel to Sony with ambitions to secure both Drake and Kevin Hart for the project's lead roles.
"This is a new draft that Spike has written after meetings with Drake, who will play the lead role of PE*NIS, and Kevin Hart who will play DAT NIGGA JIGGA," Belgrad wrote. "The budget is $ 9 million (net, after Georgia tax credits), not including historic costs, star salaries, creative producer fees. I believe in the film both as an entertainment -- a college film -- and as a provocative and exciting piece about the conflict of traditional values (education, college) and hip hop/star/celebrity culture. Why go to college to get a job to make money when you can make more money rapping, stripping, and creating salacious music videos even if they demean women??"
Despite the recent news, Sony has not commented on the possibility of the sequel and the project has yet to be confirmed by either Spike Lee himself or the studio.
Last year, Lee revealed that he had finished a script for School Daze Too.
"Hopefully I can get Laurence Fishburne to play Dap, he'll be the president now of the school," the director/producer said at the time. "It would deal with issues in HSBCUs today, some of the same stuff from the last film... like the pledging process, but also lots of new stuff, like homophobia... it's a big subject in it... class issues, color, hair texture... but it's stuff happening today."
Earlier this year, Drake and Kevin Hart had a friendly back-and-forth on Instagram following the rapper's shooting an airball during a college basketball pre-game. Hart's Instagram post clowning Drake ended with a short clip of his own stand-up material and featured hashtags like #WhyIsHeInFulluniform, #CanadaHatesThatHeDidThis, and, #DrakeMakesBadDecisions.
Within his Instagram video, Cam'ron visits his friend Huddy's grave, while Sam Cooke's "A Change Gone Come" plays in the background. In the caption, Cam reveals his plans to no longer pursue music.

Miss Info was able to catch up with the Harlem-bred rapper shortly after he shared the news on Instagram. Cam confirmed his plans to move on and shed some light on what he will be doing in the near future.
"Yeah, It's a wrap. Time to move on," he told Miss Info. "Movies and clothing are doing really well for me right now. I'm helping Mendeecees [Yandy's husband from Love & Hip Hop NY] with his album. And…I'm building a club in Vegas."
Earlier this year, Cam said that he was working on the project Federal Reserve with A-Trak. Recently, he has been putting out his First of The Month series via iTunes. Cam's crew, the Diplomats, also reunited for a string of shows throughout the year.
The "2014 Forest Hills Drive" rapper addresses the current state of Hip Hop in an NPR interview with Angie Martinez.

"This is that time for the switch in Hip Hop, " J. Cole says in the Power 105.1 interview. "It's the system's fault. There comes a time when the system realizes, 'I can sell this White person a lot easier.' Hip Hop is like completely White."
North Carolina native J. Cole, himself half-Black and half-White, said the track "Fire Squad," off his latest album2014 Forest Hills Drive, was not intended to be a diss to White rappers such as Eminem.

J. Cole says that the lyric about Iggy Azalea was meant to point out what he sees as capitalist overreaches into Hip Hop culture.
"While silly nigga argue over who gon' snatch the crown," J. Cole raps on "Fire Squad." "Look around my nigga, White people have snatched the sound / This year I'll be probably go to the awards dappered down / Watch Iggy win a Grammy as I try to crack a smile."
J. Cole says that his lyrics where meant to point out an observation that White people started to sound Black on tracks in order to sell records. Cole says not to believe the headlines.
"That headline is not the truth," J. Cole says. "It is a perspective that someone took and they made the most enticing headline for you so they could make money. The news ain't set up to inform you. It's set up to make money."
J. Cole says that his passion to deeply think about America. He thinks the current system has duped people.
"We've been pimped, and we pimping ourselves," J. Cole says. "We all sell outs."

Looks like Keyshia Cole is going to be gone til…February? For some reason Key Key is going to the county bing. In an interview with Access Hollywood Live, the actor said he used cocaine for "numbing" purposes during tough times.
"I'll be candid: I was struggling with drugs," the 32-year-old admitted. "I had a lot on my plate, and you know, I was using unhealthy ways to kind of self-medicate and deal with a lot of heavy duty stuff in my life… I was doing cocaine and drinking a lot, and trying to balance a 16-hour work schedule a day, and a family and I just lost myself back then."
After exiting the Scandal cast andbeing charged with battery and spousal abuse, Short says he has been coping with this rough time by doing music.
"I had to move, and my therapy really was my album. Working on my album changed my life," he said. "Music changes things, and that is a fact. And, you know, writing it out. And I have a lot of crappy songs that I wrote, that are just like me ranting, and then I have great [ones], and I put together a great EP with the team, [and] that's how I got through this."
Shawn "Jay Z" Carter and Russell Simmons met with Gov. Cuomo on Wednesday. The governor's office described the meeting as "a productive conversation" that included a discussion about assigning special prosecutors to handle criminal cases involving police officers. Many observers have criticized the idea of regular state prosecutors investigating the police, because the district attorney's office and the local police departments work so closely together.
Simmons was also joined by Chicago rapper Common at the #BlackLivesMatter rally in NYC. The protest event took place in front of City Hall. Organizers demanded changes to police practices and the prosecution of cops that commit crimes.
"I'm very excited about what the governor said," said Simmons during the rally. "I'm going to hold him to it. I have a lot of faith in him. If he said he's going to issue an executive order, we can certainly count on it, but we'll make sure it happens."
During the days that have passed since Wayne aired out his parent label Cash Money, many have wondered where that leaves the artists that make up Young Money Entertainment. It appears that the rapper is standing by his team.
rap albums commercially. No project has managed to break the 200,000 mark in first week units sold so far, but Roc Nation's J. Cole is looking to pull in the biggest one week sales for a Hip Hop album in 2014.
According to HitsDailyDouble, even without heavy promotion, the North Carolina native's third studio LP 2014 Forest Hills Drive is predicted to sell between 240,000 – 270,000 copies in its opening week. That total would surpass the 179,000 copies for Rick Ross' Mastermind and the 148,000 for Shady Records' Shady XV.
Cole's 2014 Forest Hills Drive hitting the 240,000 – 270,000 mark would be the second highest initial week sales of his career. Cole World: The Sideline Story sold 218,000 copies in 2011, and Born Sinner came in at 297,000 copies in 2013. Both LPs eventually hit number one.
It should be noted that HDD's numbers are not final, and that Billboard/Soundscan's official calculations for album sales now include streaming totals and individual song downloads. Every 1,500 streams on services like Spotify, Beats Music, Rdio, Rhapsody, and Google Play now equal one album sale. The new Billboard 200 tally including streams began this month.
Beanie Sigel was just in the wrong place at the wrong time.
It has been reported that the shots that were fired out of one or two vehicles were meant for Bean's brother-in-law, 22-year-old Umar Salahuddin. The Philly native was shot in the stomach on Dec. 5th outside of Salahuddin's Pleasantville, NJ home after dropping his children off at school.

Kendrick Lamar and Reebok to release short film, capsule collection.
Compton, California rapper Kendrick Lamar will serve as the latest artist to join the Reebok Classics roster. According to HotNewHipHop.com, the sneaker company addressed the newly-announced partnership in a statement released earlier this week.
In their statement, Reebok revealed that the pair will soon release a short film paying homage to the youth of Compton. The film, titled, Reebok Presents Kendrick Lamar will include a new verse from K-Dot titled "Kendrick Lamar – I AM."
"Reebok and Kendrick Lamar bring a joined vision of celebrating the limitless potential of youth through a short film created to pay homage to kids in Lamar's hometown of Compton, CA," the statement read. "The video, 'Reebok Presents Kendrick Lamar,' was directed by acclaimed director Anthony Mandler and was shot at locations that hold true meaning in Lamar's life. A nod to his roots, the short film features today's standouts at his alma mater, Centennial High School. The youth featured in this film are showcased to inspire the new generation to find their voice, and not to be afraid to become their best selves. The short is narrated by Kendrick through a powerful verse called 'Kendrick Lamar – I AM' – his own personal ode to Compton."
In addition to the Reebok Presents Kendrick Lamar short film, the TDE lyricist will also release a capsule collection through the brand. The capsule collection is currently scheduled for release in June 2015.
Reebok has partnered with a number of Hip Hop artists over the past few years, including Swizz Beatz and Rick Ross. Ross was notoriously dropped from his partnership with the brand last year due to the fallout from his perceived rape lyric on Rocko's "U.O.E.N.O. (You Ain't Even Know It)."

"What you and that lil teenager was doing was out of line next time lock the Fuckn door nigga," Cash Jones said in a post made on Instagram.
A screen capture Hot97.com obtained from Cash Jones' private Instagram account can be found below.

The news that Floyd Mayweather witnessed the murder-suicide of Earl Hayes and Stephanie Moseley yesterday (Dec. 8) on FaceTime didn't see with his friend-turned-foe 50 Cent too well. The G-Unit general took to IG to send some uplifting words to his former homie.
"RIP Hayes, @floydmayweather you are my little brother. All can think about is what you said to me up stairs. Don't you ever do nothing to your self no matter what champ. We can fall out and fight or what ever, but I don't want to see you go out like that."
Floyd seemingly appreciated those words because he later reposted the kind post on his Instagram page.
Hayes was a rapper that Mayweather had signed to his record label, Philthy Rich Records. Hayes reportedly killed his wife due to claims of infidelity. Hayes reportedly video-called Mayweather and told him that he was going to kill Moseley because he believed she had been unfaithful. Though Mayweather pleaded with him not to do it, Hayes went through with it and then turned the gun on himself while Mayweather witnessed it all through FaceTime.
Police report that Beanie Sigel is in critical but stable condition after being shot at his brother-in-law's house last week.
After suffering a bullet wound to the abdomen late last week, Beanie Sigel is currently in critical but stable condition according to an updated report from Philly.com. New quotes from a police officer familiar with the case reveal that Sigel was at the home of his brother-in-law, 22 year-old Umar Salahuddin, when he was shot and then found by police in the basement of the property.
Lt. Danny Adcock told Philly.com that Sigel's involvement in the incident may have been purely coincidental and that he was likely an unintended target."He may have become involved in something that was not necessarily his own doing," Adcock said. "Just wrong place, wrong time, if you will."
Sigel's brother-in-law, who was charged with illegal possession of a firearm in 2010 and then again for drug possession this year, was found on the scene of the shooting with his own minor injuries, "scrapes and bruises to his face and arms" according to the report, but has refused to cooperate with the police investigation. "Because of his lack of cooperation, we're not sure how he received those," the same police lieutenant said.
While it seems that the gunshots were fired during a fight near the property, police say they still have no suspects.
"We do have some leads we're following up on," Adcock said, "but cooperation from the family is minimal."
A source tells TMZ that the allegations are not true. Apparently, Karrueche did meet with Drizzy in Toronto, but only because she was friends with a woman Drake was dating at the time. According to the source, Drake was not even interested in Karrueche because she is "not his type."
"Drake's an ass man. Think about it, all the strippers he gets with … the first out of his type was Rihanna,"the unnamed person told the website.
Meanwhile, Brown returned to IG to offer an apology to Karrueche. In the caption for the picture below, Chris wrote:
Being young and dumb is one of my strong suits and emotional at best. I love hard and react impulsively when I'm hurt at times. I don't think social media is a place to air out or hash out personal problems and a n**a feel hella WACK for doing it. So I AM APOLOGIZING I live in a glass house and the same s**t that makes me great also is my curse. Everybody know I love that girl. I don't care how my image my look to the public because I'm still gonna be the best at what I do. I just want baby girl to know I apologize!
Karrueche has not publicly responded to Chris' apology yet, but the model did use her Twitter account to dispel another rumor connected to her.

Moseley starred on the VH1 show Hit the Floor and was once a backup dancer for performers like Chris Brown, Beyoncé, Usher, and Rihanna. Hayes was a rapper connected to Mayweather's The Money Team. He appeared on tracks with 50 Cent.
Brown, 50, and fellow TMT member Jackie Long offered their condolences on Hayes and Moseley's deaths via Instagram.
Chris Brown's breakup with Karrueche Tran spills over to social media and ends up in a back-and-forth between Plies and the R&B singer.
Fresh off his very public breakup with Karrueche Tran, Chris Brown got in a short spat on Twitter with rapper Plies during the social media fallout that ensued.
Leading up to the Tweets, Brown and Tran's breakup played out on Instagram with the singer accusing Tran of cheating on him with Drake and only visiting him once during his four-month stint in jail. Brown reportedly went on to refer to his ex as a "bitch" during a performance shortly after.
Plies didn't drop any names, but took to Twitter nonetheless with a Tweet that ended up reaching Chris Brown.
Brown quickly replied before deleting much of the recent social media activity, including the quip aimed at Plies.
While the back-and-forth with Plies almost ended there, Plies posted a follow-up meme on Instagram clarifying the initial Tweet.
Former professional wrestler C.M. Punk has signed a multi-fight deal with the UFC, and he intends to make his mixed martial arts debut in 2015.
C.M. Punk is the stage name of 36-year-old Phil Brooks, a career pro wrestler who became one of the WWE's biggest stars in recent years before falling out with the company.
Although Brooks has gym experience in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and other martial arts with a member of the vaunted Gracie family, he has never fought an MMA bout. That didn't deter him from signing with the world's dominant MMA promotion, and UFC President Dana White welcomes the publicity and pay-per-view sales to be generated from Brooks' arrival.
"It was actually a really easy decision to make, and time will tell how wise a decision it was," Brooks said. "I finally found something I can put 100 percent of myself into. ... I'm a guy who likes goals and challenges, and this is the biggest challenge I've ever put in front of me."
White announced the deal during the UFC 181 pay-per-view show, making sure the promotion's biggest fans heard about the move first. The year has been difficult at times for the UFC, with several injured champions, a crowded schedule and the extended absence of longtime mainstays, including Anderson Silva and Georges St. Pierre.
The UFC clearly needs new, marketable stars, and the loquacious Brooks will be must-see TV if he's able to compete.
"We're going to give him an opportunity," White said. "He's been training a lot in mixed martial arts, and we're going to give him a shot. This guy can definitely sell some units."
White believes Brooks will be ready for a fight in roughly six months, although Brooks still hasn't decided where he'll train for his debut. Brooks is curious whether he can cut weight to the 170-pound welterweight limit, but might start as a 185-pound middleweight.
Brooks recognizes the hubris inherent in starting an MMA career in his mid-30s, but the combination of the challenge and the UFC's financial offer was irresistible.
"I respect everybody that's stepped into the cage, and before I'm done here, everyone will respect me as well," Brooks said. "People close to me know how long I've talked about doing this. This isn't so much about UFC. It's about me, and what I know I have inside of me. I want to prove to people and to myself that this is something I've thought about for a long time and I want to do."
The UFC realizes the publicity value of signing pro wrestlers with a modicum of MMA skills. Famed pro wrestler Brock Lesnar became the UFC's biggest pay-per-view star when he entered the promotion in 2008, bringing millions of fans from the staged entertainment to actual athletic competition.
Lesnar defeated Randy Couture and held the UFC's heavyweight championship for nearly two years, defending it three times. After two losses and a bout with diverticulitis, he returned to pro wrestling in 2012, even "beating" Brooks in a WWE show last year.
"You hear positive and negative things about Brock, but if somebody is going to compare me to Brock Lesnar, I'll gladly take that," Brooks said. "I think I'm a little cuter."
Brooks performed in the WWE from 2011 until early this year, when he left the company with some acrimony. Brooks confirmed he is finished with pro wrestling.
As for his decision to start in the UFC instead of honing his skills in a smaller promotion, as Lesnar did, the veteran showman is pragmatic about his value.
"The big business is your first fight," Brooks said. "Win, lose or draw, if I fought somewhere else, maybe a little bit of the luster would have gotten knocked off. This is very much a business as well as fighting. There's both sides of it, and I think it merged perfectly. This is something that I'm doing for myself, to test myself. It's not all about the money, but it's also nice to get paid."
Well, it's looking like Chris Brown and former girlfriend Karrueche Tran won't be together anytime soon. The Virginia singer called Tran out during the Cali Christmas, but now, things seem to be getting messier now that both Chris and Karrueche has taken to Instagram to show their hidden wounds. It all started with Karrueche's post on Instagram yesterday:
Once Karrueche threw her subliminal shade on the social media site, Brown went all in through his Instagram account. Brown accused Tran of secretly dating Drake and also brought up their past sex-life. Because your business out there for everyone to know will make your significant other feel bad right?
Lil Wayne adds on to recent comments about his situation at Cash Money Records during a performance in Brooklyn over the weekend.
Just days after Tweeting that his album has been delayed because of Baby and Cash Money Records, Lil Wayne seemed to again address his status at the label at VICE's 20th Birthday celebration in Brooklyn on Friday (December 5).
The day before, Lil Wayne Tweeted, "I want off this label and nothing to do with these people but unfortunately it ain't that easy."
Apparently touching on the same subject on Friday during his performance, Wayne said, "Due to technical difficulties, I'm fucked up in a bad situation, but I will be out of it soon. And I do it for y'all."
Whether or not the statement is an indication that Wayne is set to leave the label or ready to work out his issues internally is unclear.
The latest news came on the same day that Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne's manager, claimed that everything between the rapper and the label was okay.
"We're good," Bryant said. "I'm smiling. What are you talking 'bout? I wouldn't be out in the club. We're good. We're super good. You see me." For additional Lil Wayne coverage, watch the following DX Daily:
"I was in the streets at eight, nine years old," Young Thug says. "I was going to school so my dad and mom would keep buying me clothes, but when I got out I did what I wanted to do – fighting, all kinds of shit."
A new profile of Young Thug on Rolling Stone finds the Rich Gang managed artist revealing details about his time spent in a juvenile-detention center as a teenager as well as the incident that led to his sentence.
During an interview with Rolling Stone writer Simon Vozick-Levinson, Young Thug also opened up about his current life.
"I'm loving it," Young Thug said, speaking from a studio session. "Who wouldn't want to be me right now?"
Birdman, who signed Thug to his Rich Gang label for a management deal earlier this year, is also quoted in the piece, saying, "Without a doubt, he's going to be a superstar. He's special."
"He looks to me like an animal locked in a cage, ready to eat the world up," Birdman said separately in the profile.
Addressing his current schedule in the studio, Young Thug admitted, "I never leave. All day, every day, every second. Gotta keep the money coming in."
Explaining how he transitioned into rap after getting into trouble as a child, Young Thug mostly shrugged off the career choice.
"Anyone can rap if you've got brains," he said. "So I just went with it."
"I was in the streets at eight, nine years old," he said. "I was going to school so my dad and mom would keep buying me clothes, but when I got out I did what I wanted to do – fighting, all kinds of shit."
After describing how he landed in a juvenile-detention program for four years—"I broke my teacher's arm," he said. "Took his ass out. Pussy-ass nigga."—Thug explained how the program didn't keep him away from trouble.
"Seven in the morning to six in the afternoon," he offered of his daily life in the program. "No windows or nothing, like a real jail. Lot of punishment. I didn't do shit there but gamble, smoke and fuck."
After J. Cole released his "Fire Squad" record, aimed at among others Eminem, Trick Trick has threatened Cole's ability to visit the Motor City.
Trick Trick has long been known as a Hip Hop gatekeeper in Detroit either through music or literally not letting in artists he feels disrespect his native city. Now, Trick may have a new artist to lay the "No Fly Zone" over.
Recently releasing his "Fire Squad" song, which takes a shot at Eminem, among other rappers, J. Cole may have gotten himself in trouble with Trick Trick. During the track, Cole raps: "History repeats itself and that's just how it goes," then follows up with, "Same way that these rappers always bite each other's flows / Same thing that my nigga Elvis did with rock 'n' roll / Justin Timberlake, Eminem and then Macklemore."
On Instagram, Marv O'Neal posted a picture of a recent Facebook status he made about the situation, questioning J. Cole's motives. Trick commented on it saying "He ain't poppin "Shit Shit" is he????? I will lock the gate on that nigga!" He also said Cole was building "himself an ass Whippin."
Earlier this year it was reported that Trick Trick imposed the so-called "No Fly Zone" on Rick Ross because he felt Ross never collaborates with artists from The D. The term stems from a song Trick did featuring Royce Da 5'9 of the same name.

After two grand juries decided not to indict officers in New York City and Ferguson, MO on criminal charges for the deaths of unarmed black men Eric Garner and Mike Brown, another unarmed black man has been killed by a police officer, Phoenix News reports.
On Dec. 3rd, police got a call about two men dealing drugs in a black Cadillac Escalade at a nearby 7-Eleven. When an officer, who has not been identified, noticed a vehicle fitting the description, he approached 34-year-old Rumain Brisbon, who was getting out of the SUV. When the officer ordered Brisbon to get on the ground, he reportedly became defensive and ignored the officer's order. Brisbon then reportedly ran from the officer to his girlfriend's house and when she opened the door the two men fell in and were tussling on the floor. After the officer lost his hold on Brisbon and thought he felt a gun in his pocket, he shot the father of four twice in the torso.
"During the struggle, Brisbon put his left hand in his pocket and the officer grabbed onto the suspect's hand, while repeatedly telling the suspect to keep his hand in his pocket," said Sgt. Trent Crump, a spokesman for the Phoenix Police Department. "The officer believed he felt the handle of a gun while holding the suspect's hand in his pocket."
What the officer thought was a gun was actually a bottle of oxycodone pills. There were no drugs found in Brisbon's vehicle, only a legally registered firearm. Brandon Dickerson, who was in the SUV with Brisbon, said he was taking dinner to his four children and was not combative with the officer.
"Who's gonna argue with police?" Dickerson said. "He had no death wish yesterday."
The officer has only been identified as a 30-year-old who has been on the police force for seven years.
A protest ensued after 150 people gathered in downtown Phoenix to march to the police headquarters. The demonstration reportedly remained peaceful as the crowd shouted "Hands up, don't shoot."
The rapper was shot outside of his Pleasantville, NJ home, but has been released from surgery earlier in the day.
Earlier he was awake and aware of his surroundings after suffering a life-threatening slug to the abdomen. The police have made efforts to interviews Beans, according to the Associated Press.
Reports say that Beans and another unnamed individual, that may have a familial relationship, got into an altercation that resulted in the Philadelphia rapper being shot. Beans had just dropped off his kids at day care.
Sigel's lawyer told the AP that his client was not the intended target of the assailant.
Neither Beanie, real name Dwight Grant, or his family have released a formal statement.

In April of this year, 50 Cent was ordered to pay approximately $17 million after losing a lawsuit filed by the electronics company. Sleek filed their lawsuit against 50 last year when a partnership between the two failed to come to fruition.
The G-Unit helmsman, who reportedly invested $1 million in Sleek, was to start a line of headphones with the company, but ultimately collaborated with another company on his Sync By 50 headphones.
According to Sleek's lawsuit, in addition to partnering with another company and releasing a product "basically the same design" as his failed collaboration with Sleek, 50 Cent was accused of "breaching his confidentiality agreement with Sleek" and "participating in a civil conspiracy."
Despite 50's personal bank account being frozen, an attorney for the rapper informed TMZ that they are currently appealing the Sleek Audio judgment.

The Roc Nation hitmaker cited in a lawsuit over production credit.
DJ Mustard is the subject of a lawsuit from a childhood acquaintance, TMZ reports today (December 2).
"Music composer Mike Free says he actually wrote, composed and recorded the music that ended up becoming Tyga's hit ... 'Rack City' ... " TMZ says. "But in a new lawsuit he says DJ Mustard isn't giving him his due -- in terms of credit AND cash."
In the lawsuit, Free is seeking royalties and full credit on all the songs he claims to have created.
"In the suit, Free says he and Mustard were childhood friends who made a deal to share composer and producer credits," the article says. "According to Free ... he had tons of ideas for tracks ... while Mustard had the connections to sell 'em."
Free alleges to have worked on YG's "My Hitta," 2 Chainz's "I'm Different," Jeremih's "Don't Tell 'Em," Jamie Foxx's "Party Ain't a Party" and Big Sean's "I Don't Fuck With You."
DJ Mustard detailed his producing process for the Big Sean song in an interview with HipHopDX in March. Mustard says he collaborated on the track with KeY Wane and Kanye West, but made no mention of Mike Free.
DJ Mustard's music developed out of the Los Angeles party scene in the late '00s that birthed the "Jerk Movement." Mustard signed as an artist with RocNation management in 2013. Both "Rack City" and "My Hitta" achieved multi-platinum status.
Later in the interview with DX, DJ Mustard says that it's important to expand his sound while maintaining individual identity.
"At first when I used to do beats I'd be like, 'God, everything sounds the same. I gotta switch it,'" Mustard said. "But it's not about how you switch it. It's about how you change it in your own way to keep it so that it's still you. I don't take it for granted. I feel like God got a plan. I think it's way bigger than me, you, YG. I think it's bigger than all of this. You've got to really work and not take it for granted and really focus on your music."
"I don't remember anything about the experience," Lil Wayne says during an interview from NYLON Guys that was excerpted on rap-up.com. "I don't mean to sound bad, but it wasn't no life-changing thing. I shot myself when I was 12. I grew up in Hollygrove. I've seen way worse."
NYLON Guys interviewed the YMCMB rapper at his Miami residence, where he also discussed his dedication to music.
"When I first started doing it, you only did it to be the best—not to have a hot song or popularity or for Instagram or Twitter," the New Orleans rapper says. "I'm one of thelast of a dying breed…the ones who are only about the music. You have to want to be unforgettable. The only other people who I can think of like that are Kanye and Beyonce."
A few weeks after a beatdown and they're back at it, at least according to Instagram.
Over the Thanksgiving holiday Love and Hip-Hop Hollywood's Yung Berg and Masika posted pics lying in bed together as well as in the studio. Berg later deleted his pics but Masika's remain posted. Berg is supposedly working on tracks for Masika.
Now that Ray Rice has been reinstated into the NFL after being dropped from the Baltimore Ravens, his wife Janay Rice is speaking out on TheToday Show with Matt Lauer. Sitting alongside her mother, Janay spoke about what her life has been like since the elevator footage of her being punched and dragged by her now-husband was released and struggling to deal with the ridicule thrown at her by the media and fans.
Prior to the incident in the elevator, where Janay says they were "high intoxicated," she says there was never any domestic violence in their relationship.
"There's no way. He knows what he would have to deal with. I'm not going to sit there in silence and let something happen to me, God forbid in front of my child, and just let it happen? There's no way."
Janay's mother, Candy Palmer, said that she felt "sick" when she saw the footage of Ray Rice knocking her daughter out cold. She said she was very upset when she saw that he left her on the floor and didn't show any concern for her as she laid unconscious.
"I basically told him that I didn't care who was out there at the elevator, you should have never left her out there like that."
Janay also said that she was not pleased with the way the NFL and the fans reacted to the second video being released, which she says she has never seen.
"I was so angry, hurt [to] seeing the man that I love, have everything ripped up from under him," she said as she wiped away tears. "We had to pick and our child from where she's used to…it hurt."
