Tony D. Holden, 36, stands accused of robbing and fatally shooting Lil Snupe.
Last Friday (June 21), Lil Snupe was confirmed to have been fatally shot in Winnfield, Louisiana.
Now, the suspected killer has turned himself into custody.
Shreveporttimes.com reports that Tony D. Holden, 36, of Winnfield, turned himself in on Tuesday (June 25) at 10:15 AM at the Winnfield Police Department. He was taken into custody without incident.
Police responded to a call shortly after 4:00 AM on June 20 to the Maplewood Apartments complex, and found Snupe shot twice in the torso.
The 18-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene.
Apparently, an argument preceded the shooting. "We are told they were betting on a video game," said Lt. Charles Curry on Friday evening. "Supposedly [Holden] robbed him [Snupe] of money."
Holden is charged with one count each of first-degree murder, armed robbery, and illegal possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. No bond has been set.
Holden has an extensive arrest history, including several drug charges and one count each of forcible rape and second-degree kidnapping, and two counts of aggravated battery with a dangerous weapon.
Snupe had signed to Meek Mill's Dream Chasers label this year, and he released his debut mixtape, R.N.I.C. (Real Nigga in Charge), to over 60,000 downloads on DatPiff.com.
