Gucci Mane is presently on house arrest in Atlanta, not completely free as previously reported.
The rapper must also undergo random drug and alcohol testing. He was released last week on $75,000 bond.
Gucci was incarcerated for hitting a man in the head with a champagne bottle at the Atlanta nightclub.
James Lettley, a U.S. Army E6 Staff Sergeant, said he was just celebrating his birthday with his wife when the attack occurred.
”Because Mr. Lettley was a fan of defendant Davis and his music, Mr. Lettley approached a member of defendant Davis’ entourage who was standing at the VIP area and asked if he could take a picture with defendant Davis, mentioning that he was a soldier serving his country, celebrating his birthday,” says a complaint filed in Fulton County Court.
Gucci Mane was subsequently charged with aggravated assault.
On Twitter, Gucci Mane recently proclaimed “I’m back.”
