Reid Flair, son of WWE superstar Ric Flair, died today at the young age of 25, reports PWInsider.com.

Reid was wrestling for All Japan Pro Wrestling earlier this year, and was scheduled to appear at a couple indy events in Maryland with his father this weekend.

No details are being given as to the cause of death, but we'll keep you updated as more information becomes available.

Chris Brown continues his media rehabilitation tour this week, this morning (March 29) appearing on L.A.’s Power 106 to talk Rihanna, Frank Ocean and the new album. During the interview, the radio station tweeted that Breezy was asked if he’s still with Rihanna, and that he responded, “Uh, no. That’s the short answer.” And once that tweet hit, the clouds split open and angels chanted from on high and everyone lived happily ever after.

But yeah, that’s bunk, kiddos. They’re still together. Sorry to ruin your weekend. It was a deft use of social media buzz by Power 106, but in the interview we watched, it was pretty clear they’re still together. Brown talked about flying out to see RiRi on tour and smiled coyly when asked about taking Twitpics with her. Not to mention Brown spoke to Ryan Seacrest earlier this week about how he and RiRi “try to keep it fun” and avoid stuffy, date-y things like candlelit dinners. If anything, the answer was just another vague tactic in their whole game of being conspicuously inconspicuous and dangling their rekindled relationship in front of the media.

Lil Wayne has confessed to the reason he’s had so many seizures. The rapper says he’s an epileptic.

On Thursday, Wayne conducted an interview with Power 106 in Los Angeles and admitted that he’s suffered with the ailment for years, including a recent scare he says he “could’ve died.”

In the interview, the rappers says that he’s simply overworking himself and exacerbating the condotion, which he’s suffered from for years.

I Am Not a Human Being II was released this week and the New Orleans native will start touring in July with Future and T.I.

The epilepsy revelation refutes the assertion from many that the seizures were brought on by codeine or “sizzurp.”

Timbaland is accused of ripping off an insurance company for $1.8 million, a new report says.

The rapper has been legally sparring with American Home Assurance Company over a Jacob & Co, which is adorned with 30 carats of diamonds.

The insurance company is refusing to pay the rapper/producing, claiming he’s lying to get paid, according to recent legal documents.

News and gossip site TMZ laid out the lawsuit, seen below.

But in new legal docs … A.H.A.C. claims it doesn’t owe Timbaland a dime — claiming he’s been as slippery as a seal, lying like a rug. The insurance company claims:

 

— Timbaland bought the watch for $900,000 but insured it for TWICE the purchase price.
— Timbaland reported the watch stolen … but 4 months later claimed his daughter misplaced it.
— Everyone involved told a different story … the wife implicated another female, the assistant implicated the maid, the maid only copped to sleeping with Timbaland’s brother-in-law and the brother-in-law refused to cooperate. No one ever mentioned the daughter losing the watch, like Timbaland belatedly claimed.

Chris Brown compliments both Drake and Frank Ocean's music, reveals "Put It Up" collab with Rihanna.

During an appearance on Power 106’s Big Boy's Neighborhood, crooner Chris Brown didn’t hesitate in answering questions about Drake, Frank Ocean, and even Rihanna. A rather composed Chris Brown, who made headlines over the past year due to separate altercations with fellow singers Drake and Frank Ocean, seemed more concerned with moving past both incidents.

The Virginia songster referred to January’s parking lot brawl with Frank Ocean as being “sensationalized” and went on to express his respect for Ocean’s music.

“It’s always sensationalized and blown out of proportion,” said Brown in a video posted on InFlexWeTrust.com. “You know, I got respect for his music. I got respect for everybody else. So I ain’t really tryna go back down that road. Everything for me is moving forward. I do my music now so I’m good.”

Brown later revealed that he has several songs he’s written for Rihanna including a collaboration titled “Put It Up.”

“Well, right now I have a couple of songs that I’ve wrote for her album and mine that she’s featured on. The song’s called ‘Put It Up’ too,” the singer added.

Lastly, Brown addressed his differences with Drake and also took a “the past is the past” stance with his relationship with the Young Money artist.

“It’s not entertainment for me. It’s just more of me being real, saying what I got to say,” Brown explained. “I ain’t out here trying to go at him. I ain’t got people after him…I have my differences and he has his. His music still hot.”

Kendrick Lamar and Steve Aoki are on the road, beginning this weekend.

Beginning this weekend, Kendrick Lamar has kicked off a Spring tour. With a performance last night in Las Vegas, Nevada, the tour spans 30 dates, into late June. Many of these dates are joined by Los Angeles, California Steve Aoki. This tour will promote Kendrick's recently-released gold-album good kid, m.A.A.d city.

Erykah Badu takes aim at Papoose for the unofficial use of her voice on his "The Nacimera Dream" album.

Erykah Badu took to Twitter a few days ago to blast Papoose for using her voice without her official permission–or anything else.

"This Papoose song Cure," she said. "I sang those vocals 10 years ago. That's 2 babies ago. Sheeeit. So mcs just throwing out old material- no paperwork.."

Papoose's continuously delayed upcoming album The Nacimera Dream apparently contains unauthorized vocals from the Neo-soul artist on the song "The Cure." After hearing the song that was released to the public five days ago Erykah Badu claimed that said vocals are a decade old. No official statement has been made by Badu's camp.

This isn't the first time Erykah Badu has called out an artist for something she didn't like. Last June, Badu took aim at The Flaming Lips' Wayne Coyne for distorting something she was with. Badu blasted the group's front man and video director Wayne Coyne over what she called a "tasteless, meaningless, shock motivated video."

Hollywood is an interesting place. So, interesting I never want to go there. So, there have been rumors about Robin Thicke. The dude is dope and there’s all this talk about Justin Timberlake stealing his style. So….suddenly Thicke is no longer involved on the Real Husbands of Hollywood. Suddenly. There have been a number of rumors floating around. They have said he was kicked off the show. They have said he was sick of the silliness of the show. But, what my sources are really telling me is that it was a bad career look for the singer. With Hurricane Timberlake coming through town, it only exacerbated things, making Thicke look at things a bit differently. I don’t watch the show, so I don’t know. I’ve heard mixed reviews about it. Either way, Robin’s goose is cooked on Hollywood Husbands.

Gucci Mane will likely be in an Atlanta jail cell for nearly a month.

Reports yesterday (March 27) confirmed that rapper Gucci Mane was in police custody after evading an arrest warrant for several days. The Warner Bros. Records star was charged with two counts of assault, after allegedly attacking an autograph-seeker with a bottle. That man happened to be a United States Army soldier, and showed authorities the wounds he claims were inflicted by the rapper with a troubled legal history.

In a hearing later yesterday, Gucci Mane was denied bond, meaning that the 1017 Brick Squad rapper will remain in what is believed to be Fulton County Jail.

“Mr. Davis has a history, we’re not going to skirt that issue,” Gucci’s lawyer Drew Findling told press outside of the courthouse, as reported by AllHipHop.com. “That history made it difficult for him to get bond today.” Gucci's attorney did however note that there aren't confirmed witnesses of the alleged attack, which happened in a Atlanta club less than a week ago.

At present, Gucci Mane will remain incarcerated until his April 10 court date.

Controversial lyrics from Lil Wayne and Rick Ross result in both rappers being banned by a Michigan radio station.

Following news that a particular and heavily controversial lyric from Rick Ross on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O (You Ain’t Even Know It)” was enough to warrant a petition, a Michigan radio station has just announced that they plan on banning the Miami rapper’s music unless he issues an apology.

XXLMag.com reports that the radio station, Michigan’s WUVS 103.7, will also ban Lil Wayne and his music unless he too issues an apology.

“Effective immediately Muskegon’s WUVSlp 103.7 the Beat has pulled ALL Lil Wayne and Rick Ross music from rotation. We pride ourselves on playing music that is non-degrading and non-violent. While we believe in freedom of speech, creative writing and individualism, we refuse to be part of the problem by spreading messages that could harm or end someone’s life,” read a statement from WUVS.

Lil Wayne recently brought about tremendous criticism from fans following the release of Future’s “Karate Chop (Remix).” On the song, Lil Wayne insults slain teen Emmett Till as he raps, “Beat that pussy up like Emmett Till.”

“Karate Chop (Remix)” was ultimately pulled by Future’s label Epic Records, but Lil Wayne has yet to publicly acknowledge his Emmett Till lyric.

Lil Wayne announces that he is epileptic and blames seizures on "stress, no rest and overworking."

Lil Wayne has kept quiet since his hospitalization in Los Angeles, California earlier this month. The New Orleans, Louisiana emcee opened up for the first time since this hospitalization in a conversation with DJ Felli Fel of Power 106 in Los Angeles.

"The bad news is I'm epileptic so I'm prone to seizures," Wayne explained. "This isn't my first, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth or seventh seizure. I've had a bunch of seizures. Y'all just never hear about them. But this time, it got real bad because I had three of them in a row. With the third one, my heart rate went down to like 30 percent," he explained. "The reason being for the seizures is just plain stress, no rest and overworking myself." 

Wayne continued, saying that he's never had three consecutive seizures before and that this was a more dangerous case than he is used to. 

"I have people around me. I've actually had [seizures] so much, they already know what to do. They already expect it. They already know how to handle it. Certain times I don't even go to the hospital but this time it was real bad because, like I said, it was three in a row. I've never had three back-to-back like that and the third one was so bad."

The Cash Money rapper was also asked if he had any ill feeling about TMZ, the site that broke the news about his hospitalization. Their initial reports indicated that he was being prepared for last rights. Wayne supporters, including T.I. shared negative comments about TMZ soon after these reports were out. 

"Nah," Wayne replied, when asked if he was mad at TMZ. "Nah. That's what they do. I can't be upset at that. I get upset at my kids when they do things I tell them not to do. I can't get upset at TMZ for doing what they do. They gon' probably come out tomorrow and say something else about somebody else that ain't true. That's what they do. The truth isn't good enough for them so they gotta twist everything up." 

Earlier this month, Lil Wayne was hospitalized at the Los Angeles, California Cedar-Sinai Medical Center after suffering seizures. He was reportedly in critical condition, a story that broke on TMZ.com. Reports also indicated that his hospitalization was a result of "high amount of codeine" that was found in his system. Birdman and Mack Maine denied these reports on the day they were released and Wayne also tweeted that he was "good." In 2012, Wayne's reps told MTV that the rapper had not suffered from seizures and that reports about seizures were exaggerated.

Rick Ross tries to "reach out to all the queens" on his timeline regarding his controversial lyrics.

Rick Ross has caught a significant amount of heat for his lyric on Rocko's "U.O.E.N.O. (You Ain't even Know It)," where he raps, "Put molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it / I took her home and enjoy that, she ain't even know it."

The track inspired a radio station to ban Ross, and a petition asking the rapper to apologize.

In an attempt to save face, Ross attempted to explain the rhyme on Funkmaster Flex's radio show.

"I want to make sure this is clear," said Rozay. "Woman is the most precious gift known to man, you understand? It was a misunderstanding with a lyric, a misinterpretation where the term rape wasn't used. I would never use the word rape in my records."

Ross assured that no one in the Maybach Music Group camp was a supporter of rape. "And as far as my camp, Hip Hop don't condone that, streets don't condone that. Nobody condones that, you understand me? I just wanted to reach out to all the queens that's on my timeline, all the sexy ladies, the beautiful ladies that have been reaching out to me about the misunderstanding. We don't condone rape and I'm not with that."

Rapper Lil Wayne’s “DEWeezy” commercial will be the subject of an upcoming documentary that is slated to debut on BET this weekend.

The documentary follows the development of the “DEWeezy” commercial that was created as part of the New Orleans rap star’s deal with Mountain Dew.

Director Chris Robinson and Robot Films worked with Stoked, a “non-profit action sports youth development agency,” to create the commercial.

Stoked worked with 10 teenagers from the New York City area, who teamed with various industry executives, and employees from Mountain Dew, to co-create the :30 television commercial spot.

The making of Lil Wayne’s “DEWeezy” commercial with Mountain Dew is slated to air on BET on March 31 at 11:30 PM.

Whenever Kanye West releases an album it becomes an event, and as a result the press and fans cannot wait to find out as many details about the project as early as they can.

Unfortunately, this anticipation leads to many rumors and reports that sometime do not pan out as true. For example, there have been numerous reports that West’s 6th solo LP will be titled anything from Black American Psycho toRich Black American to the most recent speculation of I Am God.

Well according to The Huffington Post an insider close to West says that “I Am God” is not the name for the entire album, but it is not far off from the title of a future single.

A reliable source in West’s camp tells HuffPost Entertainment that the title is actual [sic] for an upcoming single, and that the album’s name has yet to be set. The track will be called “I Am A God” (emphasis added).

G.O.O.D. Music artist Malik Yusef confirmed the title in a tweet:

Apparently the title is inspired by the bible passage Psalms 82:6-7 which reads, “I have said, Ye are Gods and all of you are children of the Most High. But ye shall die like men, and fall like one of the princes.”

The slight difference of adding the “a” to make it “I Am A God” is to distinguish that the song is not suggesting that Kanye himself is the Creator but that every person has the power to be a greater being.

“We would never be so presumptuous or sacrilegious to call ourselves the supreme being,” the source told HuffPost.

Kanye West has a history of incorporating religious/spiritual ideas and imagery into his work. One of his first breakout singles was the track “Jesus Walks” off The College Dropout. He appeared on the cover of Rolling Stone magazine with Christ’s crown of thorns. He donned a huge necklace of the Egyptian god Horus in the video for “Power,” and Watch The Throne‘s “No Church In The Wild” touched on the theme of morality versus decadence.

No dates have been announced for when the single or the currently untitled album will be released.

 Rapper Gucci Mane has turned himself in for the alleged assault of a solider, source say.

Last week, the rapper was charged with striking a solider, one a fan, over the head with a bottle. The man approached Gucci Mane in the VIP area of a club.

According to Atlanta’s WSVBTV, the rapper answered a warrant out for his arrested and was put in jail.

The solder, James Lettley, said he wanted to get a picture with the rapper, but was assaulted Harlem Nights Club on March 16.

A second man in Philadelphia has accused Gucci of assaulting him with a punch just two days after the alleged Atlanta incident.

 A petition has recently launched onChange.org protesting Rick Ross’ recent “date rape” lyric on the new song, “U.O.E.N.O (You ain’t even know it).”

The new Change.org petition calls for Rick Ross to publicly apologize for the lyric and for glorifying rape and violence against women. Created 6 days ago, the petition has garnered hundreds of signatures.

The timing of the lyric is hot on the heels of the date rape conviction of two teens in Stubenville, Ohio and the recent passage of The Violence Against Women Act which has added to its inflammatory nature.

Activist Rosa Clemente has also made a video responding to the Def Jam signed Ross for the lyric, which she states is “detrimental to our community.”

Nicki Minaj remains heavily secretive about her "American Idol" return during a conference call with reporters.

Each week American Idol viewers watch in suspense as contestants are voted off the show and it seems that Idol judge Nicki Minaj is also dishing out a little suspense of her own. According to MTV News, during a conference call this week the rapstress remained very secretive about a possible return to the show for its 13th season.

"Would I come back next season? I think people would rather be surprised," said Minaj, MTV New reports. "I like to save the mystery and the drama. I'd never give that away. I always say this and I mean it from the bottom of my heart, just that people behind the scenes at Idol have been a dream to work with. I'm just super grateful to have been given the opportunity."

Minaj further commented on keeping her return a secret by stating that the suspense of not knowing who the judges for an upcoming season of American Idol may be has become somewhat of a tradition for the show and a source of excitement for fans.

"I'd rather not speak about that at this time," the rapper added. "I feel like I've kind of already answered it, but I would rather not even give any insight because I kind of feel like it's exciting for people to not know who the next season's judges will be.”

On top of the addition of Nicki Minaj, American Idol also welcomed Mariah Carey and Keith Urban as new judges this season.

Diddy reportedly worth half a billion dollars according to Forbes' 2013 "Hip Hop's Wealthiest Artists" list.

Sean “Diddy” Combs is continuing to cash in on his various business endeavors and his knack for wise investments has earned the Hip Hop businessman the top spot on Forbes’ newly-released “Hip Hop’s Wealthiest Artists” list, according to Billboard.com.

Diddy’s net worth is reportedly worth close to $600 million thanks primarily to his involvement with the Diageo-owned Ciroc. The Bad Boy Records founder also topped “Hip Hop’s Wealthiest Artists” list last year, again due to his deal with Ciroc.

Forbes’ list is comprised of five Hip Hop acts whose total net-worth far exceeds $1.5 billion. They include Diddy ($580 million), Jay-Z ($475 million), Dr. Dre ($350 million), Birdman ($150 million), and 50 Cent ($125 million).

With their ranking on Forbes’ “Hip Hop’s Wealthiest Artists” list it should come as no surprise that several of the artists mentioned have been featured on other lists from the publication. Just last year, Forbes’ named Dr. Dre the “Highest-Paid Musician” in the world.

I don’t’ want to see the Bawse in the bing. But I didn’t realize the implications when I saw the headlines about Rick Ross having a gun on him when they tried to take his life. Here is the story:

So, while Rick Ross as almost killed, it is looking like he may have another issue stemming from an unregistered gun in the car he was driving.

The basic point is, they are saying that Rozay may have to face charges due to that beautifully crafted black and chrome Smith & Wesson semi-auto. The gun was in his waistline and had one in the chamber. The license to carry had expired, but it was once valid. Somehow I think that means he is going to get off easy. I’m not an expert, but I feel this is how things will go.

This ain’t really a rumor, but more along the lines of information.

I think everybody that had an issue with the casting decisions of the TLC biopic needs to now officially fall back. Both Chilli and T-Boz approve. The only thing I wanna know is does Left Eye? Will Smith is one of Hollywood’s heaviest hitters. So when it was rumored that he was supposed to team up with Quentin Tarantino and play a slave it seemed like stuff of legend. Smith recently told Entertainment Weekly why he didn’t commit to the project.

“Django wasn’t the lead, so it was like, I need to be thelead. The other character was the lead! “I was like, ‘No, Quentin, please, I need to kill the bad guy!’”

Ironically, Jamie Foxx marketed as the film lead and his co-star Christoph Waltz was nominated for a supporting actor Oscar.  This isn’t the first blockbuster film Smith turned down. He was in talks to play Neo in the Matrix trilogy.

Waka Flocka proclaims "fuck that nigga Gucci" while performing at Dipset's "Diplomatic Immunity" anniversary concert in NYC.

It may have been all love between members of Dipset at the “Diplomatic Immunity” anniversary concert last night (March 25th), but during the show one rapper in particular solidified rumors of an alleged falling out during his performance.

While performing his verse on Jim Jones’ “848,” which also features Juelz Santana, Waka Flocka replaced his “Free my brother Gucci” line with “Fuck that nigga Gucci.”

Waka’s Gucci Mane diss follows a Tweet Gucci made earlier in the month stating that Waka had been dropped from his 1017 Brick Squad label. Shortly after the comment was made, a rep from Warner Bros. refuted reports by claiming that Gucci’s Twitter account had been hacked.

Justin Timberlake tops sales predictions by selling 980,000 copies of "The 20/20 Experience" its first week.

With earlier predictions claiming that Justin Timberlake’s third studio album The 20/20 Experience would sell close to 800,000 copies in its first week, it seems the album has officially gone above and beyond those initial predictions.

HitsDailyDouble.com reports that The 20/20 Experience sold an impressive 980,622 copies in its first week.

The hefty album sales will of course give Timberlake’s album prime location on numerous sales charts this week.

Released on March 19th, The 20/20 Experience serves as the Tennessee crooner’s first solo album in over six years. The album is fully produced by Timbaland and features a lone feature from Jay-Z who Timberlake will be touring with this summer as part of the “Legends Of The Summer” tour.

Future’s baby mom is looking to get a bigger check from the hit maker, claiming he misrepresented his income.

Jessica Smith, the child’s mother, feels like the rap artist lied to a judge about how much money he makes. He charged that he made about $16, 516 per month and presently pays $1,662, according to TMZ.

Apparently, Future made a TV appearance alleging that he carries $25,000 on him always, prompting Smith to feel he was deceiving her.

She filed a new motion to get her support increased. According to TMZ, she feels he makes more than $50,000 per month.

Future’s son with Smith is 10 years old.

This really ain’t too hard to figure out, but I’m hearing that the song “Bow Down” was specifically made for Keri Hilson. Originally, people felt it was for some generic R&B Female Singer. Or somebody like Keyshia Cole. But, no. I am hearing that it was written for Keri Hilson. You know the stories about these two. No need to rehash it or something. But, I find it interesting that the hidden venom B holds for this chick is evidently a career killer. And, some are saying that Jay-Z has come into play here, charging that Beyonce has been too humble on these chicks and its time to vent. Hence: “Bow Wow.”

Gucci Mane stands accused again.

A couple days ago a soldier alleged that Gucci Mane hit him in the head with a bottle after he tried to get a picture with the rapper. Now, another man claims the rapper assaulted him in Philadelphia two nights later.

“I haven’t ever been so humiliated in my life and disrespected,” said the man, only known as TJ, told Amy Napier Viteri late Monday evening. TJ said that Gucci Mane punched him in the jaw on March 18 at Club Onyx in Philadelphia, two days after the alleged assault on the soldier. 


“He punched me on the left side of my face, right here in the jaw, knocking off my glasses,” he said. “I sustained a chipped tooth in the back. I sustained also swelling on the left side.”

He said he wasn’t clear on why Gucci Mane attacked him. He said he only tried to shake his hand and say hello.

TJ said there was very little he could do, as Gucci was present with his crew. 

”I was totally outnumbered. Them guys they would have dogged me if I tried to swing back,” TJ said. The former fan said he’s disappointed in Gucci. “You just don’t go around hitting your fans.”

Despite an open warrant in Atlanta, Gucci performed in Evansville, IN over the weekend.

Lupe Fiasco connects violent Hip Hop lyrics to violence in society.

While most use Sunday as a day to relax and reflect on the previous week, Lupe Fiasco took the day to reflect on the state of lyrics in Hip Hop.

Taking to Twitter this afternoon, Lupe decided to write a short novel on the issue blasting off 19 tweets about the use of violent lyrics in Hip Hop music. Fiasco says he believes that violent lyrics give rappers "positive reinforcement" to commit negative acts.

"Violent music (and all violent media) effectively says its 'OK' to be violent. It provides positive reinforcement for negative actions," Lupe said in a tweet. "If you rap and make violent music then own up to it. Stop hiding behind 'art imitating life' as a way to evade the guilt."

Lupe Fiasco also referenced a Dr. Dre line in Eminem's song "Guilty Conscience" quoting, "How the hell you gonna tell this man not 2 be violent?, Cuz he dont need to go the same route that I did." Lupe's latest Twitter anthology could be linked to 50 Cent's appearance on CBS' Sunday Morning program in which the Queens rapper said that his music doesn't glorify violence. Lupe admitted that he himself has made violent music and committed violent acts in the past but questions why people continue to do such.

"Ive made violent music. Done violent things. Most my friends are violent. Lived in violent neighbors. Seen violence first hand," he said. "A certain point you start to get tired of it. You ask why? why is it like this? what is causing this? why is this ok to live like this? Then you turn on the news and see that a 12 month old got shot in the face by two teenagers in Georgia for no reason at all."

Lil Wayne, T.I. and Future's party in America kicks off July 9 in Birmingham, Alabama and rocks and rolls till September 1 in Irvine, California, before going to Europe.

As promised last week, Lil Wayne gave fans the specifics of his summer America's Most Wanted Tour. Joined by Atlanta, Georgia's T.I. and Future, Young Money's general will kick off on July 9 (different than the July 5 previously reported), and conclude at the top of September. The tour will promote Wayne's I Am Not A Human Being II, which releases this week.

In fall, the tour will move to Europe. According to Rap-Up.com, Mac Miller will be Wayne's tour-mate in the United Kingdom. Those dates have yet to be announced.

MTV heading to Brooklyn on August 25th for the 30th anniversary of its MTV Video Music Awards.

With help from social media, MTV has revealed that its 30th annual MTV Video Music Awards will take place at the newly-opened Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York.

The move to the popular arena will serve as the first time the VMA’s have been taped in a location other than Manhattan, Los Angeles, or Las Vegas.

This year’s awards show, which will take place on August 25th, will also mark the first time the VMA’s have been in New York City since 2009. Over the past three years, the VMA’s have been filmed in various venues in Los Angeles including the Staples Center and Nokia Theatre.

Following a series of grand opening concerts that featured noted Brooklyn emcee Jay-Z, Barclays Center has become a go-to location in New York City for all things music-oriented.

Despite a large drop in viewers, last year’s VMA’s welcomed performances from Rihanna, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, and more.

Kanye West considering "I Am God" as the title for his sixth studio album, according to a report from the BBC.

G.O.O.D. Music artist Kanye West is no stranger when it comes to pushing boundaries and the rapper is already ruffling feathers thanks to what may possibly be the title of his sixth studio album. The BBC reports that West is contemplating I Am God as the title for his upcoming album.

The report from the BBC also states that West and girlfriend Kim Kardashian are looking into North as the name for the baby boy they’re expecting in July.

“Mixed emotions greet reports that Kanye West is considering calling his first child North. It's a good joke, from a slightly unexpected source (neither the rapper nor his possibly even more famous partner, Kim Kardashian, are best known for their self-deprecating sallies, although the title Kanye is supposed to be contemplating for his new album, I Am God, is said to be ‘half tongue-in-cheek’),” read a March 23rd story from the BBC titled “A Boy Named North West.”

Neither West nor a rep for the rapper has responded to this latest album news. Aside from a possible title and a small list of album collaborators, all other details on West’s sixth studio album remain scarce.

Law enforcement sources say Too Short will not have worry about felony drug possession charges.

In the midst of a hectic week and series of unfortunate events, Too Short finally gets a break.

Law enforcement sources have told TMZ that the rapper will not be prosecuted for felony drug possession.

On Wednesday (March 20th), Short Dog was arrested for driving under the influence. He was filmed trying to escape police, and was taken to jail. Police later said they found drugs on the rapper.

Now, the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the felony drug case because police only found a small amount of drugs, apparently meth.

Because the rapper does not have a felony record, the District Attorney has sent the case to the City Attorney for misdemeanor review.

Too Short claims that the drugs were not his, and that they were left in the police car by the prior arrestee.

Over 17 years since a jury decided the glove did not fit so they had to acquit, FOX decides to turn the most publicized murder trial of the last 20 years into a TV show.

Tentatively entitled The Run of His Life: The People vs. O.J. Simpson, the show is being called an “event series” and is planned to have 10 to 12 episodes. Written by Academy Award winning writers Scott Alexander and Larry Karaszewski the show would transport viewers to the 1995 trial and the behind the scenes stories rarely told.

This is not FOX’s first attempt at revisiting the murder trial. In 2006, planned to hold a two-part interview with Simpson during the promotion of controversial book If I Did It.  In the press release, the station revealed that the interview would show as ”Simpson describes how he would have carried out the murders he has vehemently denied committing for over a decade.”

In 1994, the former NFL superstar was charged with the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and  her friend Ronald Goldman. On the infamous day of June 17th, 1994, Simpson led police officers on a highway chase that resulted in him ultimately surrendering to police at his home. After over eight months and one of the most publicized murder trials of all time, O.J. Simpson was acquitted of all charges on October 3rd, 1995.

Dr. Dre checked into Big Boy's Neighborhood today to reveal that Beats By Dre has a new venture. He also said that he wants to make music as long as he can.

Today, Dr. Dre briefly called into Big Boy's Neighborhood show, the syndicated radio program produced by Los Angeles, California's Power 106. Dre's call was relevant to the show, as the Aftermath Entertainment founder has appointed Big Boy's co-host Fuzzy Fantabulous to work on a new Beats By Dre-related project.

While Dre was slim on details, he did offer some, "The most I can say right now is that it's a music subscription service. That's the most I can say right now." It is unclear what Fuzzy's role will be within this new Beats By Dre division or product. The longtime Big Boy's Neighborhood personality detailed the company as merely, "A Beats Music service we're about to launch." Today marks Fuzzy's last day on the show's staff.

For fans of his music, Dre did briefly update a few items. He confirmed that Aftermath star Eminem is wrapping his upcoming album. "[Eminem] is finishing up his project," said Dre. Without mentioning the Detox album, Dre did allude that he was approaching his work differently. "For me, I've just got inspired to go in the studio again," admitted the N.W.A. member-turned-mogul. Last year, Dre and his label released Kendrick Lamar's good kid, m.A.A.d city, in addition to his production for Xzibit, Alicia Keys and 50 Cent. Pointing out that he's approaching the 30-year mark, Dre closed in saying, "Music is my first love, and I'm gonna continue to do that as long as I can."

Dre's first group, World Class Wreckin' Cru released "Surgery" around 1984, marking the longtime deejay's first foray into recording.

Gucci Mane allegedly assaulted a United States soldier who tried to get a photo with the rapper.

Atlanta, Georgia police have issued an arrest warrant for Gucci Mane after a soldier said he was assaulted by the rapper.

According to wsbtv.com, the soldier claims he was trying to get a picture with Gucci when the rapper hit the soldier on the head with a champagne bottle.

The soldier, who only revealed his name to be James, says he asked the security guard in the VIP section of Harlem Nights in Atlanta if he could take a picture with the rapper.

"I was speaking to the security guard, and Gucci Mane hit me in the head with a bottle," said the soldier, who returned from Afghanistan in October.

"And as I looked at him in the shock of why, one of his friends hit me in the side of my face," he added.

James required 10 stitches and says he has a concussion and bad headaches:

Rick Ross was armed with a Smith & Wesson semi-automatic gun during drive-by shooting in Fort Lauderdale.

New information regarding the January drive-by shooting involving Maybach Music Group founder Rick Ross is beginning to emerge and it looks like the rapper was armed during the shooting.

A police report from the Fort Lauderdale Police Department, which was obtained by The Smoking Gun states that Ross was armed with a black and chrome, Smith & Wesson semi-automatic gun.

Located in Ross’ front waistband, the gun was fully loaded with one round in the gun’s chamber and 11 rounds in the magazine.

Unfortunately for Ross, AllHipHop.com reports that his handgun license was expired at the time of the shooting and this could mean possible legal trouble for the rapper.

The Miami artist quickly made headlines late January when the Rolls Royce he and a female passenger were traveling in was shot at multiple times in Fort Lauderdale. While attempting to flee the scene, Ross subsequently crashed his vehicle into an apartment building. No suspects were identified in the shooting.

Mack Maine chronicles Lil Wayne's reaction to news regarding his health.

As surprised as fans were to hear reports about Lil Wayne's condition following two seizures, perhaps no one as as surprised as Wayne himself.

Young Money president Mack Maine explained how hearing news about Wayne's health actually affect Weezy.

"I was actually sitting right next to him, honestly, when it happened, and his mom was in the other room, and his face dropped," said Maine on MTV's "RapFix Live." "I just saw it in his face, like, 'I can't believe that.' "

While Mack Maine, Birdman and others reported that Wayne was doing well, TMZ reported that Wayne was in dire straits, even being prepped for his last rites.

"A lot of blogs and stuff put out some foolishness, but that wasn't true," added Mack. "He has four kids. Imagine his daughter hearing that somewhere in school or something like that, so he wasn't too happy about that."

Now, Mack Maine says Wayne is happy and safe. "He's blessed, he's up, he's in good spirits, and we'd like to thank all the fans for the prayers. A lot of people reached out and showed love, but Wayne's at home, he's relaxing. He's actually been in good health for a minute. They just wanted to run a few tests on him, that's why they kept him longer than expected, but he's been good."

Reservoir Media Management is suing Craze Productions over alleged illegal iTunes sales of Aaliyah's albums.

Nearly 12 years after Aaliyah's death, a music publisher is embroiled in a legal battle with a record company for illegally selling the late singer's music.

TMZ reports that Reservoir Media Management has filed a lawsuit against record company Craze Productions.

The suit alleges that Craze has been illegally selling songs from Aaliyah's double-platinum releases Aaliyah and One in a Million on iTunes.

Reservoir claims that it is the sole owner of the songs in question, after acquiring the rights to them in 2012, and that it never gave Craze permission to sell the music.

Reservoir is seeking an injunction to prevent Craze from selling further music, and is seeking monetary damages.

Soulja Boy says recent attacks from hackers on his social media accounts will only make him work harder.

Atlanta artist Soulja Boy became the latest celebrity to fall victim to hackers this month when videos from his YouTube page were all deleted. 3 News reports that on top of the hacking of his YouTube page, Soulja Boy’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram accounts were also targeted in the attack this week.

After reclaiming his Twitter account, Soulja Boy reached out to fans and asked for their help in recovering his other social media accounts. He also shared that the attacks will only force him to work harder.

"If any of my followers know anyone from Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube/Google let me know because all of my accounts are hacked. Thanks…This is only going to make me go harder, they deleted all my YouTube videos that's some real hater shit right there,” said Soulja Boy in a series of Tweets.

As of now it’s unclear who was responsible for the attacks on Soulja Boy’s various accounts. It also appears that all of the rapper’s YouTube videos have been restored.

Other celebrities whose personal information was compromised this month include Jay-Z, Beyonce, and actor Ashton Kutcher.

After Steveland Barrow broke into a house his mistook for Rihanna, charges were pressed and actions were taken.

Rihanna has the platinum sales to signify her millions of fans. One fan that got a bit too close to the Def Jam songstress was Steveland Barrow. The man caused Rihanna to report to authorities she "feared for her safety" after it was revealed that he broke into a neighbor's home, mistaking it as one of the star singer's residences.

TMZ.com reported that today, a judge ordered Barrow to stay at least 100 yards away from Rihanna for three years. Previously, the singer secured a temporary restraining order against the man—who reportedly slept in that neighbor's bed after believing it was RiRi's.

Rush Limbaugh switches aim from rappers to Beyonce.

Fans and critics are split down the middle when it comes to Beyonce's newest track, the expletive-laden "Bown Down."

One media figure, however, has made his thoughts on the track quite clear.

Rush Limbaugh took Beyonce to task for her new song. The conservative talk show host, who has butted heads with Hip Hop artists many times in the past, took offense at Beyonce's new track.

Bow Wow was ordered to pay a porn star $80,000 but the TV host of BET’s “106 & Park” is refusing to pay.

The adult film star Katsuni sued Bow Wow and said that her likely was used in a rap video without her consent. Bow Wow has alleged that he’s got nothing to do with the video other than being one who reposted it.

However, Bow Wow did not appear at a mandated court date and lost a judgement.

Early this morning, Too Short was reportedly stopped in Los Angeles for a bizarre arrest allegedly involving drugs and alcohol.

Oakland, California pioneering emcee Too Short has been arrested, according to TMZ.com. Short was reportedly stopped for a traffic violation by police in his vehicle early this morning (March 20) in Los Angeles, California. Appearing under the influence, the rapper was allegedly given a breathalyzer test and is reported at .09—which is over the legal limit.

TMZ's report also alleges that Short tried to escape police once he was out of the vehicle. Unnamed law enforcement sources claim, "Too Short took off  ... and tripped as he ran down the street." The report also claims that Too Short tried to dispose of drugs after being detained in the police vehicle.

At present, Too Short is believed to be in the custody of the Los Angeles Police Department.

In 2010, the longtime Jive Records artist was arrested in Boise, Idaho after he was charged with battery involving three club bouncers. Short later spoke out publicly, claiming reports were "exaggerated and false."

Mack Maine updates on Lil Wayne's health and says TMZ needs to be shut down.

The controversy surrounding Lil Wayne's health after an apparent second seizure has somewhat subsided, but the YMCMB push-back against TMZ hasn't.

Cash Money Records president Mack Maine came on BET's "106 & Park" along with Talib Kweli to discuss the duo's collaboration "Celebrate." However, Mack started off the segment by addressing both Wayne's health and the media.

"Just to clear the air about Wayne: Wayne is great, Wayne is in great health," claimed Mack. "God is good. I wouldn't be here if he wasn't in great health, honestly. He's watching the games right now, he's enjoying life. He's ready to get home, talk to his kids, chill with his kids, and come back to his fans. We appreciate all the prayers."

Mack continued, admonishing TMZ without naming the website. "The blog with the three letters, y'all wack. I just gotta say that live on air," he said. "Y'all need to be shut down. You don't play with people's health."

Last week, T.I. lashed out at TMZ on Twitter.

No arrests were made as pot was discovered in the Rihanna Diamonds World Tour caravan on the United States/Canada border today.

The same day as rapper Too Short was reportedly arrested in Los Angeles, California for drunk-driving and drug possession, another music star of a different generation made headlines. While no arrests were reportedly made, TMZ.com reports that marijuana was discovered on Def Jam Records singer Rihanna's tour bus, as the vehicle passed between the United States and Canadian border.

TMZ accounts that only a "civil penalty" was issued to a reportedly male passenger on the bus as it approached the Ambassador Bridge, linking Windsor, Ontario with Detroit, Michigan. The stopping included 10 overall vehicles. It has not been fully confirmed if Rihanna was on that particular bus at the time of the citation.

Tomorrow night (March 21), Rihanna is expected to bring her Diamonds World Tour to Detroit's Joe Louis Arena. Last week, RiRi was forced to cancel two dates following flu symptoms and Laryngitis.

Jeffrey Simon Hubbard pleads not guilty to all charges relating to a tragic boating accident.

Jeffrey Simon Hubbard has pleaded not guilty to all charges, including homicide by vessel in the first degree, relating to the death of Usher's 11-year-old stepson.

Earlier this month, Hubbard was charged in the death of Kile Glover for his role in a July 6 boating accident on Lake Lanier.

Gainesvilletimes.com reports that Hubbard also pleaded not guilty to charges of reckless operation of a vessel, unlawful operation of a personal watercraft, boat traffic violation and serious injury by vessel.

If convicted of homicide by vessel, Hubbard faces a minimum of three years in prison, not exceeding 15.

Law enforcement official say that Hubbard was in violation of the 100-foot law, which mandates drivers of boats and personal watercraft not operate at more than idle speed within 100 feet of a sitting object or a person in the water.

Concert goers at a Tone Loc show in Des Moines, Iowa on Saturday left in shock after the 47-year-old rapper collapsed on stage during his performance.

Tone Loc was in the Hawkeye State as a part of the Saint Patrick’s Day Bridge Bash, a show held on the Court Avenue Bridge that crosses the Des Moines River.

The Des Moines Register reports that Tone Loc finished performing a song and then fell to the stage. The Los Angeles born rapper was attended to for about five minutes. Concert organizers then shut down the show and asked attendees to leave the scene.

Tone Loc reportedly refused to be taken to a hospital. There has not been any further reports to the seriousness of Tone Loc’s condition, but he has had health concerns in the past. He collapsed during a concert in Austin last year, in Atlanta in 2011, and in Pensacola Beach in 2009. He also fell out at Lakers game in 1995.

Tone Loc is best known for his 1980′s hit singles “Wild Thing” and “Funky Cold Medina,” and for being the second rap act to reach #1 on the Billboard Albums Chart with his double platinum debut LP Loc-ed After Dark (1989).

His famous raspy voice was featured in the animated movies Titan A.E. andBeBe Kids. He also appeared in the films Posse and Poetic Justice among others.

French porn star Celine Tran is about to be $79,346.07 richer at the expense of Cash Money rapper Bow Wow according to TMZ.

Tran sued Bow Wow (real name Shad Moss) last year for using footage of her from the video “Conspiracy Strip Club“ by Parisian electro-rock duo Electronic Conspiracy in his visuals for the song “Drank in My Cup” without her permission.

The federal judge in the case ordered Bow Wow to pay nearly $80,000 in damages and attorney’s fees since Moss refused to reply to the lawsuit.

Bow Wow was also told to stop using Tran’s likeness immediately.

This was just one lawsuit Bow Wow was served for in 2012. He was also taken to court last fall by the mother of his child for child support.

The court cases haven’t stopped the 106 and Park host from his original occupation- making music. He recently released his latest mixtape Greenlight 5. He’s planning to drop his 7th studio album, Underrated, sometime in 2013.

Maybach Music Group's Meek Mill argues with his probation officer and says he fears being shot in his hometown.

Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill may have violated terms of his probation, according to his probation officer, Treas Underwood and Assistant District Attorney Noel A. DeSantis. In a hearing on Friday (March 16), Underwood and DeSantis explained that Mill, whose real name is Robert Williams, cannot leave the state of Pennsylvania without providing a detailed agenda about his travel destinations. 

In a court dispute, Underwood reportedly explained that Mill often leaves without providing this information. He also often leaves without calling, according to Underwood. “The problem is that I don’t know,” Mill declared about his travel plans. “It changes every day.” Beyond this, Mill clarified that he is not in charge of his own travel itinerary and that his attorney has been asked to inform Underwood of the specifics of his travels. Underwood responded, “But you’re supposed to call me.”

Mill also shared that he has a fear of being in Philadelphia, adding that he prefers to travel for his own safety.

“My best thing is to stay traveling,” Meek disclosed in the two-hour hearing. “Every time I come back to Philadelphia, someone tries to shoot me or get me back in trouble.” His fear of being shot could possibly be related to a recent shooting incident involving Maybach Music Group's boss, Rick Ross. 

Mill also feels he needs a new probation officer. The Maybach Music Group emcee explained that he and Underwood have a history, knowing one another since they were younger in North Philly. He also feels Underwood is creating problems in his life, saying Underwood has made him wait in public areas where fans and other probation officers ask for autographs and demo tape reviews, according to Philly.com. However, Judge Genece E. Brinkley did not grant a separation between Mill and Underwood. "That's not going to happen," the judge replied. "You folks are just going to have to work it out.” 

Mill is on a five year probation stint after a 2008 drug and gun conviction. He served eight months in prison and began this probation sentence in 2009.

Beginning in September, Queen Latifah will be CBS' answer to the afternoon talk show.

Emcee-turned-actor and personality Queen Latifah has announced a premiere date for her upcoming CBS daytime talk show. Beginning on September 16, the New Jersey emcee and longtime co-manager of Flavor Unit Entertainment will be joined—reportedly daily, by her Set It Off co-star Jada Pinkett-Smith, who will be the show's executive producer.

Karen Civil's website acknowledge a Facebook comment post from Smith, "Wearing my Executive Producer hat, standing beside the next daytime talk show superstar. Starting September 16, 2013, you will be able to kick it with Queen Latifah everyday."

Latifah previously had a FOX network talk show in 1999, but the program was canceled after less than two seasons. In 2009, Latifah last released her Persona album, produced by Cool & Dre.

Birdman denies reports that drug use is responsible for Lil Wayne's latest seizure. He blames exhaustion, and Weezy's "dedication."

Today (March 18), Cash Money Records CEO and co-founder Birdman spoke with HOT 97's Angie Martinez about Lil Wayne, the hospitalized star of the label. Birdman, who was Wayne's legal guardian for a point in his teens, clarified a few points in the developing story. Most notably, Birdman claimed that information in TMZ's initial report, including drug use, was false.

"It had nothing to do with drugs, no such thing like that," said Birdman, who added that Wayne is expected to leave the hospital in a few days, after being cleared by doctors. Additionally, the executive and artist in his own right said that Wayne experienced a single seizure on Friday (March 15). This was contrary to initial reports of multiple seizures. Friday's health concerns were however Wayne's second seizure incident of last week, following a Tuesday (March 13) hospitalization that was said to be a result of dehydration and exhaustion. Birdman explained, "It's just his work ethic...and how hard he works, how much dedication he gives to music and his fans, and what he's trying to accomplish in life."

On March 26, Lil Wayne is expected to release I Am Not A Human Being II for Cash Money. Combined with collaborative and group albums, it will be Wayne's 17th album for the label, and 10th as a solo artist.

In the developing Lil Wayne hospitalization story, Young Money Records President Mack Maine admitted today (March 18) that it is indeed unclear if the rapper sent out the Friday health status tweet.

In the moments following TMZ's initial report of Lil Wayne's second seizure hospitalization, Mack Maine and Birdman both refuted information in the reports, including that Wayne was in a coma and on assisted breathing. Moments following that update, Lil Wayne's @LilTunechi Twitter account notified fans that reports were misleading. "I'm good everybody," allegedly said the Young Money founder and star.

"That [Friday] tweet wasn’t sent out on that same phone line,” Mack Maine told XXLmag.com today. “I’m not sure if he tweeted that or not. I wasn’t with him at the present moment. One of his fans could have tweeted that, I’m not really sure where that came from.”

The revelation came just hours after questions arose on latitude and longitude coordinates from Wayne's March 15 tweet. A Tech source pointed out that the status update could not have come from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California, where Lil Wayne has been housed for over four days.

In the latest development in Lil Wayne's ongoing seizure hospitalization, it appears as though the Cash Money Records star has been released from Cedars-Sinai Medical Center after being cleared by doctors. This evening (March 18), Young Money Records President Mack Maine has tweeted that Lil Wayne "has been officially released."

Additionally, Mack Maine claims he never spoke with XXL regarding Lil Wayne's health.

XXL has yet to release a statement regarding their report. Mack Maine will reportedly be a guest this Wednesday (March 20) on MTV News' RapFix Live webstream.

T.I. & Tiny's reality show on Vh1 is coming back, and dealing with some new themes in its third season.

Atlanta, Georgia star rapper T.I. and wife Tameka "Tiny" Harris have announced a third season of their Vh1 reality show, "T.I. & Tiny: The Family Hustle." The latest behind the scenes look at the life, marriage and parenthood for the celebrity couple will begin April 8 at 10pm EST.

According to a Vh1 press release, Season 3 emphasizes Tiny, a longtime member of Xscape, in her latest music pursuit. Tiny is working with acts OMG Girlz! and French Kiss, as T.I. celebrates his recent music and acting comeback, largely from 2012's Trouble Man: Heavy Is The Hand album.

In the last 24 hours, T.I. was among critics of the alleged false reports surrounding Lil Wayne's hospitalization.

Owners of W.i.P. believe that Chris Brown and Drake should be financially responsible for Tony Parker's $20 million lawsuit.

According to TMZ, the owners of W.i.P., the New York City nightclub that gained notoriety due to a June 2012 fight between Chris Brown and Drake, are hoping that NBA star Tony Parker will instead seek money from Brown and Drake in his lawsuit.

Parker is just one of many people who were injured in the brawl and consequently filed a $20 million lawsuit against the club and its owners.

W.i.P. owners believe that both Drake and Brown "contributed to, instigated, participated and/or engaged" in the incident and should be financially responsible for any lawsuits. The owners have even gone on to file documents against Drake and Brown in court.

Parker, who was hit in the eye with pieces of broken glass at W.i.P., missed one week of gameplay due to his injury.

The W.i.P. owner’s case is currently pending.

One Warner Bros. rep says that Gucci Mane's Twitter account was hacked, perhaps questioning Waka Flocka Flame's public dismissal from 1017 Brick Squad. Waka appears to be skeptical.

Following Friday's (March 15) news of Gucci Mane dismissing Waka Flocka Flame from 1017 Brick Squad, new reports have emerged. Waka Flocka has persisted tweeting about "BSM," meaning Brick Squad Monopoly, and adding "#BSMBoss."

MissInfo.TV reported that Warner Bros. Records employee Rahim "The Dream" notified his Twitter followers that Gucci Mane's Twitter account was hacked. Gucci Mane has yet to delete or retract the tweets, and has yet to release a statement. Earlier this month, the veteran WBR artist Gucci, announced an official performing name change to "Guwop" via the social media platform, only to retract it the same day.

Waka Flocka Flame is among those apparently in disbelief of the Twitter hacking claims. The rapper responded to one of his Twitter followers/fans, claiming the WBR reports "#FALSE."

Previously, Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame released Ferrari Boyz, a full-length collaborative album together in 2011.

Longtime friends and collaborators Gucci Mane and Waka Flocka Flame trade insults via Twitter.

Gucci Mane tweeted that friend and labelmate, Waka Flocka Flame is "officially dropped" from 1017 Brick Squad, this evening (March 15). In the tweet, Gucci also referred to Flocka as a "disloyal lil nigga."   

Though Waka Flocka has yet to confirm that he is no longer associated with of the Atlanta-based record label, he did tweet "Somebody tell Gucci Mane 2 SUCK A DICK." Flocka then deleted the tweet, then followed by saying "can't tweet beef."

Moments after TMZ.com reported news of a life-threatening Lil Wayne seizure, friends, family and associates close to the rapper have refuted some of the reports.

Birdman, Cash Money Records' CEO and Wayne's onetime legal guardian, claimed that superstar is "feelin much betta" and will be released from the hospital soon.

Mack Maine, who is Wayne's President at Young Money Records, claimed that early reports are exaggerated. Mack, also an artist, said that specifically the reports of a coma and assisted-breathing are "false."

Minutes later, Mack Maine tweeted "#FUCKTMZ," directed at the source of the story.

UPDATE: In the early East Coast hours of March 16, Birdman updated on Lil Wayne's recovery status. The co-founder of Cash Money Records claimed that Weezy is "feelin good" and will be "home soon." The former legal guardian of the longtime label star referred to Wayne, as he has in much of the last 15 years, as his son.

French Montana's manager sues him for at least $50,000.

French Montana is being sued by his current manager for allegedly making lucrative concert deals behind her back.

TMZ reports that Debra Antney, who is Waka Flocka Flame's mother and runs Atlanta-based management company Mizay Entertainment, claims that she and French entered into an exclusive management contract with French in November 2010.

In the lawsuit, Antney claims French secured several concert appearances without her knowledge or consent, cutting her out of her 20% management fee.

Antney is suing for unspecified damage, totaling at least $50,000.

Antney used to manage Nicki Minaj. In 2010, Minaj fired Antney.

T.I. doesn't take kindly to TMZ's reports regarding Lil Wayne's health.

Over the past several hours, TMZ broke the story that Lil Wayne had suffered several seizures, and provided numerous updates, including claims that the rapper is in critical condition.

One artist in particular took umbrage to the reports.

Taking to Twitter, T.I. claimed that Lil Wayne was okay - contrary to TMZ reports - and then took TMZ to task:

On Saturday (March 16), Birdman and Young Money President Mack Maine refuted some of the reports. Birdman confirmed that Lil Wayne is "feelin good" and will be "home soon." Maine also stated that claims of a coma and assisted-breathing tubes are false.

After a two-year investigation, over 150 law enforcement officers from the Bureau of Alcohol, Firearms, and Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) and local police rounded up 125 individuals in a two-state guns and drugs sting operation.

The suspects from southeastern Missouri and northeastern Arkansas were arrested beginning Wednesday morning in what authorities called “Operation H.I.T.S.” (High Intensity Trafficking Suppression).

Officials say the campaign was conducted to end the high level of gun violence and the trafficking of weapons and illegal narcotics in the area. Over 240 undercover operations were conducted as part of the investigation.

“Law enforcement is here, and we are working everyday to try to rid the community of the scourge of illegal drugs, and certainly the added problem of guns along with those drugs and violence that comes with guns and drugs,” US Attorney Chris Thyer toldWHBQ FOx 5.

Officials confiscated 108 guns, 3 pounds of methamphetamine, 3 pounds of crack cocaine, 26 pounds of marijuana, and various pills.

The suspects range in age from 19 to 69. Some will be brought up on federal charges while others will face state charges.

71 defendants will face state charges in Missouri. The US Attorney’s office in Missouri will prosecute 22 cases. 14 will be charged in the state of Arkansas while 19 face federal prosecution in the Eastern District of Arkansas. One suspect will be prosecuted in two jurisdictions.

Last October DJ Paul of the Memphis rap group Three Six Mafia was arrested in New York City for a misdemeanor weapons charge. The Academy Award winner was initially stopped by police for carrying an open Corona beer in public. He then admitted that he was also carrying a concealed taser.

TMZ is now reporting that after first pleading “not guilty” to the possession and public drinking charges, Paul struck a deal with the prosecution and pleaded guilty to a lesser disorderly conduct charge.

Paul has been sentenced to 21 hours of community service and has to pay a $125 surcharge. Paul will serve his sentence in his current hometown of Las Vegas at a local soup kitchen.

“They’re all going to be eating a lot of barbecue and garlic butter,” said Paul’s defense attorney Seema Iyer (referring to the rapper/producer’s line of barbecue sauces) according to the New York Post.

“DJ Paul BBQ” was started in 2012 and includes both a barbecue rub and sauce available for purchase online.

Back at the time of the arrest Paul explained that he didn’t know that he wasn’t able to carry a taser gun in New York.

“I honestly didn’t know it was illegal. I thought it was at the same level as pepper spray,” Paul told TMZ. “My bodyguard wasn’t around last night, and I was by myself in NYC and anything can happen in the late hours down there.”

DJ Paul released his third solo studio album, A Person of Interest, just days after the arrest.

He has also released numerous projects as part of the legendary rap group Three Six Mafia. Paul and fellow 3-6 member Juicy J won an Oscar for Best Original Song for writing the single “It’s Hard Out Here For A Pimp” from the film Hustle and Flow.

According to Budden, Tahiry Jose was the one to strike Cons after the initial hit in the first scuffle. Tahiry recently discussed the details with Hot 97. 

"We were basically taking two minutes to walk out because we had two minutes," she shared in the interview. "They were switching the set. We walked right past him. Then out of nowhere, I feel somebody over my head just hit Joey in the head. Joey was then rushed to the other side of the room by like eight security. Consequence was then running back but they forgot about Tahiry so I caught a good one."

"It was probably a girly-girl punch that him him straight in the face," she added.  

"It's human nature. You can't just attack people and not expect people to react," Tahiry noted, explaining why she hit him for Joe Budden. "I'm walking with whoever and you're my dude, you are around me, then it's either all or nothing. That's just how I am."

A judge seeks to indict a man that Lil' Boosie allegedly hired to commit a murder.

A judge has refused to throw out first-degree murder indictments and declined to suppress incriminating statements for a man that Lil' Boosie allegedly hired for murder, reports The Advocate.

In October 2009, Boosie reportedly hired then 17-year-old Michael "Marlo Mike" Louding to kill Terry Boyd. Earlier this week, Louding's attorney, Margaret Lagattuta, asked state District Judge Trudy White to dismiss the first-degree murder indictment in the Boyd case because of a U.S. Supreme Court ruling that states "cannot automatically impose life sentences without the possibility of parole on juveniles in murder cases."

In Louisiana, a first-degree murder conviction leads to either death by lethal injection or life in prison. Now 20, Louding is not eligible for the death penalty because he was a juvenile at the time of the incident. His lawyer said that she would be unable to explain to the jury what sentence Louding might face if convicted, and will ask the state 1st Circuit Court of Appeal to review the denial to lift the indictment.

Additionally, Lagattuta asked the judge to suppress statements where he admitted involvement in five separate homicides. During Boosie's trial, Louding testified that he and Hatch had nothing to do with Boyd's death, and denied killing anyone else. Prosecutors believe that he lied to the jury.

Louding is currently scheduled to stand trial on March 18th.

Last year, Boosie was found not guilty in Boyd's murder. He is presently serving an eight-year sentence for attempting to smuggle codeine, ecstasy and marijuana into jail.

Lil Wayne suffers from yet another seizure, this time while wrapping filming for a music video in Los Angeles.

Celebrity gossip site TMZ reports that Young Money rapper Lil Wayne was hospitalized on Tuesday, March 12th after suffering from multiple seizures. The seizures happened shortly after Lil Wayne wrapped shooting for a music video in Los Angeles, he was then taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

The Young Money helmsman was eventually released from the hospital and is said to be doing okay.

Although a serious health scare, Tuesday’s incident isn’t the only time Lil Wayne has suffered from one or more seizures. Back in October, a private jet Lil Wayne was flying on was forced to make an emergency stop after the rapper began exhibiting “seizure-like” symptoms.

The “seizure-like” symptoms were reportedly caused by a severe migraine and dehydration. Following the incident, Lil Wayne was prescribed seizure medication and was also asked by a doctor to drink at least four bottles of water per day.

Neither Lil Wayne nor a rep for the rapper has responded to news of his latest seizure.

Chief Keef is a free man after spending 60 days under lockdown.

Chief Keef was released from a juvenile detention center earlier today after serving 60 days for violating his probation, according to DNA Info.

Sosa has returned according to his Twitter. An unidentified person who mans the account wrote, "He is on his way bk. We about 2 turn up. Gbe. Retweet."

The Chicago, Illinois rapper was initially jailed 60 days ago after violating his probation stemming from a 2011 incident where he pointed a gun at a policeman. Prosecutors claimed that he violated his 18-month probation by conducting an interview at a gun range in New York last June. The incident went against judge's orders that he cannot have contact with firearms.

In December, Keef released his debut album Finally Rich, which has sold 144,000 copies to date.

The drama surrounding Love & Hip Hop stars Joe Budden and Consequence is showing no signs of slowing down, with Consequence serving as the latest party to give their side of the story. Earlier today (March 14th), the Queens rapper called into The Angie Martinez Show to give his version of the Love & Hip Hop reunion fight that made its way onto the internet earlier in the week thanks to amateur video.

Consequence shared that he did in fact smack Joe Budden, a decision he says was brought about by Budden’s interview with ThisIs50’s Jack Thriller.

“The number one thing is I don’t run from nobody. Why would I smack somebody and then run, but stay there to get jumped? I never ran from nothing. Let’s keep that clear,” the rapper explained in a video posted on 2DopeBoyz.com. “That’s the part he came and told you Angie. That I hit him, Tahiry snuffed me, and then I ran. Nobody ran. I’m not gonna run from Tahiry. Unfortunately, when I smacked him, from what I was told by one of the stylists or production people, when I extended it hit Tahiry. So she reacted and she hit me. And that’s a girl hitting me. And I like Tahiry. Shout out to Tahiry. It felt good.”

Consequence’s interview with HOT 97 took an unexpected turn when he revealed that during the commotion Joe Budden somehow forgot his cell phone. He then went on to read a handful of texts from the rapper’s phone, which included messages from girlfriend Kaylin Garcia, cast mate Raqi Thunda, and a man named Derek.

“Then there’s somebody named Derek,” said Consequence. “And Derek is basically saying, ‘Don’t say anything stupid. We’re hanging on by a thin thread. I will come see you after the reunion. I love you and I miss you.’ And I guess he must have told Derek ‘Hey, why don’t you come to London Wednesday?’ And then there’s emojicons of an engagement ring and a baby…We never met anyone named Derek on any episode…Ain’t no cameras Angie. And here’s the thing, I was so disgusted I broke the phone. I just threw it, broke it. Listen, but I still got proof. Don’t get it twisted. I don’t lie.”

The real is BACK! Good times is about to be made into a movie! Now, for those of you that are too young to know, Good Times was a show in the 70s that was tremendously popular. It documented the struggle associated with Black life in the projects. Chicago is the setting for the movie. Now,  I am worried. Why?

I don’t know why Glo Velez didn’t do it for the masses, because she was hot too. Time moves on. And Tahiry is the one people care about.

The “Fakest Reality Show Ever” will be back with 12 new episodes. BET has announced that the Kevin Hart-led Real Husbands of Hollywood has been renewed for a second season.

The partially scripted “mockumentary” stars Hart, Nick Cannon, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, J.B. Smoove, and Robin Thicke as famous friends who attempt to manage their live as celebrities in the parody of popular reality shows like Real Housewives of Atlanta, Basketball Wives, andLove and Hip Hop.

The series also featured guest appearances from Nelly, “Sugar” Shane Mosley, Trey Songz, Common, and other celebrities.

“When we launched this series in January, we knew our audience would have as much fun watching it as we had making it, and since it has been on the air, fans have voiced on social media that they want more. So this was a pretty simple decision: ‘Hey! Let’s make more!’” said BET’s President of Music Programming and Specials Stephen Hill in astatement.

The show was created by Hart and former Def Comedy Jam producer Chris Spencer and was based on a segment that ran during the 2011 Bet Awards. The series is produced by some of the most accomplished people in the entertainment industry including Stan Lathan (“Martin,” “Beat Street” “Def Comedy Jam”), Ralph Farquhar (The Parkers), Jesse Collins  (The BET Awards), and Tim Gibbons (Curb Your Enthusiasm).

Real Husbands of Hollywood debuted on January 15 with over 4 million viewers. The season one finale will air on Tuesday, March 19th at 10 pm on BET.

Drake's "Best I Ever Had," Waka Flocka Flame's "No Hands" and Rihanna's "S&M" also reach multi-platinum benchmarks.

The RIAA has announced the gold and platinum certifications from last month. In February of 2013, a current single three former hits reached new benchmark plateaus in sales.

A$AP Rocky's Drake, 2 Chainz and Kendrick Lamar-assisted "Fuckin' Problems" has been confirmed a platinum digital single. The Noah "40" Shebib co-produced song is the first of Rocky's to reach the status. The single and video were released in late 2012, prior to A$AP's 2013 retail debut, which has sold 284,000 units through last week.

Drake's 2009, Boi-1da-produced single "Best I Ever Had" has been confirmed double-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. The Cash Money/Universal Motown song was originally released on the Toronto, Ontario emcee/singer's free project, So Far Gone. Released in February of that year, the mixtape was subsequently taken to retail as a packaged product, which later achieved gold status, selling over 500,000 units. The hit song became a popular video single, directed by Kanye West.

Also honored last month was Waka Flocka Flame's 2010 single, "No Hands" which featured Wale and Roscoe Dash. The Brick Squad/Warner Bros. Records rapper's early hit was confirmed triple platinum. The Drumma Boy-produced effort appeared on Waka's debut, Flockaveli.

Rihanna also achieved triple-platinum status with her own 2010 hit, "S&M."

Yesterday (March 12), Wiz Khalifa confirmed his latest branding partnership. The Rostrum/Atlantic Records star announced a deal with shoe and athletic company Converse. According to a tweet, the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania native who previously appeared in campaigns, has now reached something "major" with the storied brand. Wiz has yet to elaborate on details.

Throughout his career, Khalifa has been known to wear and endorse Converse Chuck Taylor All-Star shoes, one of the inspirations to the name of his label and collective, the Taylor Gang.

Previously, Kid Cudi and Big Boi have worked closely with Converse. The brand also maintains its Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn, New York, which has been used by artists ranging from GZA to Action Bronson to MaG. The announcement comes less than a month after Wiz and Amber Rose welcomed their first child, son Sebastian.
