I’ve been informed that Eve’s man is a billionaire. CONGRATS!!! :/
EVE…WHAT?
I’m a hater. I admit it. Eve is pregnant and I am hating because I am not the father. LOL! HAHAHAHA!!!! That is too funny to me. Anyway, she is supposedly pregnant if you look at whatMTOis saying. They are saying that Eve and her supposed boyfriend Max Cooper are now with child. Yep. Three months in, at that. Apparently there is a “close friend” that spilled the beans. But, why would a close friend do that? So its up for grabs, whether or not this is true or not.
Max has four other kids, apparently. Eve pregnant? “Dats that sh!t Stevie J don’t like!”
Super-producer Rick Rubin is sharing in on the success of Adele, who was recently named the first artist of the 21st century to receive a Diamond Award in less than two years.
Adele’s critically acclaimed album 21 was officially certified as having sold 10 million records, landing a Diamond Award certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA).
“We are thrilled to honor Adele with an RIAA Diamond Award marking her enormous 21 sales success,” said RIAA chairman/CEO Cary Sherman. “Selling more than 10 million albums in the United States, in less than two years, is an achievement unparalleled by any other artist in the past decade, let alone just a few in all of history. Adele’s unique talent is a gift to music fans, and her success is certainly cause for a celebration of Diamond magnitude.”
In the digital realm, eight of Adele’s songs have already amassed over 19 million downloads in the United States.
Rick Rubin, who is co-chairman of Columbia Records produced five of the songs on Adele’s hit album 21.

According to data released by the RIAA, Adele is the only British or European female solo act in history to earn an RIAA Diamond award.
According to the publication, the West Coast veteran roped in $110 million in pretax earnings largely thanks to his Beats headphone line. “The brands are so aligned, Dre and Beats, it’s just who he is,” says former Def Jam president Kevin Liles. “If you look at the biggest earners, the guys have been doing it for 20 years … what’s happening now is people are really telling their truth.”

Joe Budden asks security to escort a concertgoer out of his show following a series of ill comments they made via Twitter.
A concertgoer in Oakland, California was unexpectedly escorted out of a Joe Budden show yesterday (November 28) after Tweeting about how “dead” it was at the New Jersey rapper’s concert. HipHopWired.com reports that the woman, who was attending the show with a friend, sent numerous Tweets expressing her disinterest with seeing Budden perform.
She even went so far as to post a picture of a package of NoDoz caffeine tablets on her Twitter page along with the caption, “For the Budden concert tonight.”
Budden somehow discovered the less than enthusiastic Tweets and reportedly informed security that he would not perform unless the woman was escorted from the venue.
"So we are upstairs at VIP [and the] security asks me if I'm Paige," said the woman via Twitter, according to HipHopWired.com. "I said, 'yes.' And they say 'Joe Budden wants you out. I feel flattered though, they said they showed my twitter picture and found me in the club."
The Slaughterhouse spitter has yet to respond to the incident via Twitter or through any other public outlet.
50 Cent says that his beef with Floyd Mayweather began over a $2 million debt.
While 50 Cent is hardly a stranger to beef, perhaps his most surprising feud in recent history involves his former friend and TMT Promotions partner Floyd Mayweather. Now, in a recent interview with Power 106 FM, Fif reveals the origins of his beef with the famed boxer.
According to Fif, the feud began over a $2 million debt Mayweather owes to Fiddy for starting their TMT Promotions company prior to Mayweather's recent prison sentence. Fif explained that after his release from jail, Mayweather neglected his debt to the rapper and instead spent his fortune on jewelry and cars. Eventually, tensions boiled over and Mayweather lashed out at the rapper on Twitter at the behest of his entourage.
"[Mayweather] changed his mind…as he was actually going in to jail, he asked me to help him with Mayweather Promotions," Fif recalled. "As he actually got in and I took a look, I realized there is no Mayweather Promotions: there's no LLC, there's no seals, there's no 'incorporated'…technically, Floyd is a Golden Boy fighter [for Oscar De La Hoya's promotion firm]. He fights on every Golden Boy card, they do all the footwork…so when he says, 'Help me with Mayweather Promotions,' and it's not there, I go, 'Okay, I know what he means: he wants me to put it together for him.' So I do TMT Promotions, I get it all the way together…he comes home, and there's the, 'Let's get Floyd back in pocket' campaign that goes on, where there's $300,000 chains being bought and buying him the new Lambourghini…and I'm sitting there going, 'When are you going to give me the money?'…It's about [$2 million owed] at that point. When he finally does bring up the actual situation, he acted like he didn't know anything. Like, 'I didn't tell y'all to do that.'"
He added, "That's not Floyd [on Twitter or Instagram dissing me]; Floyd don't Tweet…he's got somebody next to him. See, everybody around him is co-dependent, so they gonna roll with what he says regardless…they'll tell him what to say. As soon as he gets confused, he's gonna go, 'Okay, okay, um, just call out [50 Cent].'"
In its "Men of the Year" issue, GQ magazine gives Rick Ross props.
For its "Men of the Year" issue that features Rihanna on the cover, GQ magazine has named Rick Ross "Bawse of the Year."
In the short write-up and photograph taken Christian Weber, Ricky Rozay recalls how 2012 has panned out for him. "It's been a power-player year," he told the publication, stating that he plans to lodge higher than No. 10 on The Source magazine's Power list next year. "I'm the typa dude who feels like he could take number two next year... The moves I make, I ain't never in no rush."
The Teflon Don had parting words for readers, suggesting that they cap the year with a few moves. "One, for Christmas go get yourself an MMG tattoo. Two, let's all stop smoking blunts; let's smoke out of papers."
Rihanna scores her first chart-topping album with "Unapologetic," while Nicki Minaj's repackaged sophomore album fails to make a dent on the charts.
After a handful of veterans cracked last week's chart, this week sees a crop of newer artists holding it down on the Top 200. While it may seem hard to believe that Rihanna is yet to score a number one album, she accomplished just that with Unapologetic, her seventh album in seven consecutive years.
Meanwhile, Nicki Minaj's re-release of her sophomore album, Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up, failed to match her expectations and missing the Top 25. The LP debuted at No. 26 on the charts, perhaps a confirmation of her concerns that the sales would reflect the album not being offered in certain retail outlets.
Finally, R&B singers had a strong week on the chart. Keyshia Cole's latest album Woman To Woman had a healthy debut at No. 10 with 96,000 sold, while Ne-Yo and The Weeknd kept on strong with R.E.D. and Trilogy, respectively holding ground at No. 31 and 32.
Rihanna Is Unapologetic About Topping The Charts
It's taken Rihanna seven consecutive years of dropping albums annually, but she finally managed to crown the charts with her latest offering Unapologetic. Featuring guest appearances from Future, Eminem and David Guetta, the LP tops the chart with 238,000 copies sold, bolstered by a performance slot on Saturday Night Live and her number one single "Diamonds." The numbers are solid for the Bajan crooner, whose last album Talk That Talk sold 198,000 copies in its first week and was later certified platinum.
Nicki Minaj Couldn't Re-Up With Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded Re-Release
Nicki Minaj seemed to have it all figured out with the re-release of her sophomore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded The Re-Up. That is, until she made an appearance on a New York City radio show explaining that the LP wasn't going to do well on account of certain retail giants neglecting the project. Consequently, the album, which features eight new tracks, bumped up from No. 95 to 26 on the chart, selling only 36,000 copies in its first week. The repackage also features guest appearances from Cassie, Ciara and Lil Wayne.
Earlier this week, Aerosmith lead singer and former "American Idol" judge Steven Tyler criticized Nicki Minaj's role as a judge on "Idol." His remarks included stating that Nicki would've sent Bob Dylan "to the cornfield" if he auditioned this season. In response, Minaj tweeted that the comments were racist.
In an interview on Canadian show eTalk, Tyler apologized for his comment, be vehemently denies being racist.
"I apologize if it was taken wrong, Nicki," said the singer. "But I am the farthest thing from [being a racist] ... I am the last thing on this planet as far as being a racist. I don't know where she got that out of me saying I'm not sure how she would have judged Bob Dylan."
Steven Tyler explained that he meant, "if Bob Dylan came on the show, he would've been thrown off."
"Maybe I spoke out of turn," said the singer. "But a racist I'm not, Nicki."
Nicki Minaj also says Steven Tyler's upset about no longer being on "American Idol" and adds that she will get him a shirt that reads, "No Coloreds Allowed."
As a judge on American Idol, Nicki Minaj has already faced some criticism from a fellow judge in Mariah Carey. Now, she is responding to criticism from a former judge, Steven Tyler. During an interview with MTV, Tyler had comments about the current judges that Minaj was offended by.
"I know that they've got something going on on the judges' panel, [and] it shouldn't be that, it should be just the opposite: They should have something going on, which is called 'camaraderie,'" Tyler said. "They should have something going on so thick and beautiful that they can lay it over the new talent that's trying to birth itself. It needs to be birthed, not judged by 'entertainment' factors, it needs to be judged by people that [are] honest, true, that have the 'it' factor. Not the 'it' factor because they can fight. The fuck is that all about?"
He also went on to add more.
"If it was Bob Dylan, Nicki Minaj would have had him sent to the cornfield! Whereas, if it was Bob Dylan with us, we would have brought the best of him out, as we did with Phillip Phillips. Just saying."
Minaj was not pleased with these comments. In a few statements on her Twitter account, Minaj countered Tyler's remarks by saying that he made racist comments.
Jay-Z may need to step in and stage an intervention for two of his artists signed to his ROC Nation management company. Rumors have been swirling for a while now that Rihanna has been at odds with British import, singer Rita Ora – but now things have allegedly hit a feverish pitch, because Rita just beat Rihanna out for a new movie role.
According to Sugarscape, Rita Ora will be making her movie debut in the upcomingThe Fast and the Furious 6as a sexy villain. Rita allegedly blew the producer’s socks off during her audition. We hear that she really won them over with “her look and her attitude?” Rihanna was the lead runner for the role, but due to a scheduling conflict, she lost out to Rita.
Rihanna is such a hot commodity these days that you would think they would reschedule her scenes so she could be in the movie. Movie producers do it all the time for the really big stars. In fact, the movie,A Star Is Born, was on hold for over a year while Beyonce was pregnant with Blue Ivy. Bey just recently dropped out of the project, too – so much for that!
Back to Rihanna and Rita Ora. Perez Hilton is reporting that Rihanna was allegedly furious with Rita Ora for as he put it, “stealing her style.” Check out how he reports it below:
“Rihanna was furious when she spotted Rita Ora’s dress for the VMAs, a rose gown that looked like one she wore in 2010. When Rita started her career, Rihanna thought it was cute that she was copying her look. But now she’s getting pissed off, especially as Rita is getting a following by using her old tricks.”
Interesting. Do you think Rihanna should be worried about Rita Ora?
Brick Squad rapper Waka Flocka Flame offered his Twitter followers an interesting challenge on the social network.
The rapper took to Twitter yesterday afternoon (November 26), and told his 1,294,612 followers that if he received 30,000 retweets, he would go skydiving and film himself.

“Everybody knows Beyoncé’s music, but few know Beyoncé the person,” said Michael Lombardo, president of HBO Programming. “Along with electrifying footage of Beyoncé onstage, this unique special looks beyond the glamour to reveal a vibrant, vulnerable, unforgettable woman.”
Violence erupted in front of the home of Halle Berry yesterday when her ex-beau and baby daddy got into a physical fight with her fiance, actor Olivier Martinez. According toTMZ, Halle’s ex, Gabriel Aubry showed up at her doorstep yesterday to drop off their 4-year-old daughter, Nahla, when he and her fiance got into a huge brawl.
The fight started when Olivier allegedly stated, “We have to move on,” which allegedly caused Aubry to flip out and throw a punch at him, which landed on his shoulder. A scuffle ensued, and Aubry ended up pinned to the ground with a broken rib. According to TMZ, Olivier suffered a possible broken hand and neck injuries.
The police arrested Gabriel Aubrey and granted Halle a temperary order of protection for her, Nahla, and Olivier against Aubry. According to sources, the two never got along, and Olivier is still very upset that a judge denied his and Halle’s petition to move Nahla to Olivier home country of France.
Fortunately, Halle rushed Nahla inside before the fight began, so she was spared the violence between the two father figures in her life. Halle Berry is one of the most beautiful women in the world, and it seems that the two men in her life just can’t get along. Unfortunately for Aubry, this may mean an end to his visitation rights with his daughter, at least until they can get in front of a judge in family court.
Lil Wayne claims he plans to throw in the towel after dropping "Tha Carter V."
On this February 19, Lil Wayne will release the highly anticipated sequel to his 2010 album I Am Not a Human Being. Yet despite this news of the LP's impending release, Weezy says he may soon call it quits on his music career.
In a recent interview with MTV, Lil Wayne said that he's planning to retire from making music after releasing Tha Carter V, the fifth installment of his critically acclaimed series. The New Orleans rapper explained that in his decade-plus professional career in Hip Hop, his interests have expanded to other activities while his passion for recording tunes has increasingly waned.
"I know y'all want me around for a little bit, [but] Tha Carter V is my last album," he revealed. "I've been rapping since I was 8 years old; I'm 30 now. That's a long time, and I like to do so many more things, and when I like to do something, I end up loving to do it real quick. And I love to do something, I'm fully focused on it and it only, and music sometimes is not that 'it.'"
Drake turns to his Twitter account to share news of the passing of his grandmother, Evelyn Sher.
While many took time to give thanks and gather with family and friends on Thanksgiving Day, Canadian rapper Drake was unfortunately left to deal with the tragic passing of his maternal grandmother, Evelyn Sher. MTV News reports that the Young Money artist revealed the somber news in a single Tweet posted to his Twitter page yesterday (November 22).
“Rest in peace to my grandmother Evelyn Sher. What a day to go...thankful to have had the times we did,” the rapper Tweeted.
Drake mentions his grandmother on the Thank Me Later record “The Resistance” and she was also featured in a deleted scene from Drake's 2010 MTV documentary Drake: Better Than Good Enough. In the scene Drake visited his grandmother in a nursing home shortly after signing to Universal Motown/Young Money.
Earlier in the year Drake reportedly canceled his Club Paradise tour stops in both North Carolina and Virginia to be with his ailing grandmother.

Allegedly good at dodging bottles, Drake and Chris Brown dodge charges.
Drake and Chris Brown will not face criminal charges as the result of an alleged nightclub brawl.
TMZ reports that authorities have concluded their investigation, and there will be no criminal charges against the singing rapper and the rapping singer.
Apparently, there was not enough evidence to move forward with charges.
Sources indicated that the surveillance video in the club where Drake and Chris Brown allegedly hurled bottles at one another was so dark and blurry that authorities couldn't make any use of it.
"Drake was never even a suspect so it's no surprise," said Blair Berk, Drizzy's lawyer.
9th Wonder & Buckshot close out a seven-year three-album series with a chart appearance, as The Weeknd's own "Trilogy" hits the Top 5, and Yelawolf & Travis Barker slang "Psycho White."
It was a week of transition on the charts, as several indie releases left the Top 200 for some new albums in stores. Canadian crooner The Weeknd scored a Top 5 debut with his first retail effort, Trilogy. At #4, the compilation from the 22 year-old's free releases features Drake and Juicy J, and adds to the new wave of talent at Universal Republic Records.
Travis Barker & Yelawolf'sPsycho White EP slipped in the Top 50. This five-song effort is Yela's third Interscope Records release in as many years.
Lastly, the final of three releases between Buckshot & 9th Wonder squeezed into the Top 200 rankings in The Solution. The series of Brooklyn-Raleigh collaborative albums date back seven years to Chemistry. Strangely, 9th was on two November 13 albums, the second being his final release in a separate series with Murs, The Final Adventure.
The Weeknd Warrior
After appearing on singles by Drake ("Crew Love") and Wiz Khalifa ("Remember You"), The Weeknd officially broke through this month as a commercial artist. Via XO/Universal Republic, the Ontario native's Trilogy traced his free project roots and convinced over 85,000 that it was worth the purchase. The remastered versions were accompanied by three new songs.
Buckshot & 9th Wonder Found A Solution
In 2005, when Buckshot & 9th Wonder began working together, Little Brother only had one studio album in stores. Buckshot had previously only released one solo album, over five years prior. Throughout the last seven years, the pair forged a relationship that shaped the personnel and sound of both Duck Down Records, as well as the Justus League. In the years since, 9th and Khrysis have become go-to producers at the veteran indie label, including spearheading projects by Skyzoo and The Away Team.
The Solution, following 2008's The Formula, marks the final themed album in the series. Guests include Jamla Records' Rapsody, as well as Dyme-A-Duzin. This is Duck Down's third charting album in two months, following Sky's A Dream Deferred and Sean Price'sMic Tyson, which left the Top 200, following two weeks of ranking.
She also addressed how the new album wasn't picked up by Target and Wal-Mart, explaining that they didn't want to take a chance on selling a repackage and that it's setting her up for failure.
"It's hard to get hte album because the stores basically said that the last few re-releases they had put out did not do well, and they didn't want to take a chance," she explained. "So Target and Wal-Mart is not selling the album, and Target is actually my biggest retailer. They've always been my biggest retailer. So they sold the most Nicki Minaj albums ever. So thank you Target, but I wish you could have sold this one. Best Buy only took limited because they were like, 'We want to play it saafe.' It sets you up to fail. But at the end of the day, I'm happy to put the album out."
Cassidy says that Meek Mill hasn't done anything to him yet to warrant a diss record.
Over the past few weeks, Meek Mill and Cassidy have been exchanging potshots with each other stemming from Meek's desire to battle Cassidy. Now, in an exclusive interview with AllHipHop, Cassidy clarifies the nature of his and Meek's issues with one another.
When asked whether his recent song "Diary of a Hustla" was in fact a slam at his Philadelphia brethren, Cassidy said that the MMG rapper hasn't done anything to him yet to deserve a diss record. However, Cassidy warned that if Meek were to engage him him in that kind of a feud, he would respond with a diss on the level of Nas' "Ether."
“If I do a diss record to Meek, it’s going to be on the ‘Ether’ level, if not worse. It’s going to be direct; you won’t have a hard time figuring out who I’m coming at. But I didn’t feel as though enough was done for him to deserve a diss record yet. He’s going to really have to get out-of-pocket, put me in a song or say something crazy to get a diss record. I would advise him not to do it, because if he jumps in the ring with me, it’s going to be problems. He knows what I’m capable of, and he knows how I get it in, so I don’t blame him for backing out. If I was him, I would have backed out, too.”
After saying he hates the way Lil Wayne dresses sometimes, A$AP Rocky says he inspires Kanye West. "There's no way in hell you could tell me that I don't inspire Kanye."
When A$AP Rocky stopped By DJ Drama's show, the emcee and deejay had fashion on their minds. During the conversation, A$AP Rocky clarified earlier comments, acknowledging that he hates the way Lil Wayne dresses. He also went on to add that while Kanye West inspires him, you can't tell him that he doesn't inspire Kanye.
"I hate the way Lil Wayne dresses sometimes," Rocky said. "The lime green Ugg boot thing? I didn't like that but that's his style. There's people who probably hate the way I dress - not a lot - but a few people might hate the way I dress. That's my style. At the end of the day, I'm not judging. They asked me my opinion, how I felt, and all I gave them was my feedback. He's got way more money than me, way more successful so I can't say nothing bad about him."
He continued with fashion, saying that the inspiration between Kanye West and him has to be mutual.
"Kanye inspires me. There's no way in hell you could tell me that I don't inspire Kanye. Everybody, as an artist, could look at it as competition but it's just clothes."
Frank Ocean talks about his public coming out letter that revealed a prior relationship with a man.
Frank Ocean caused a stir on Independence Day when he took to Tumblr to post a coming out letter that addressed his relationship with another man. The Odd Future crooner has remained quiet on the letter up until now, talking with GQ magazine about the decision to put his words out there for the public to see.
During the interview, Ocean said that a journalist referencing the male pronouns in his songs encouraged him to write the letter. After he posted it, he felt relief. "The night I posted it, I cried like a fucking baby. It was like all the frequency just clicked to a change in my head," he said. "All the receptors were now receiving a different signal, and I was happy. I hadn't been happy in so long. I've been sad again since, but it's a totally different take on sad. There's just some magic in truth and honesty and openness."
Ocean said that he would not address whether he's bisexual or homosexual, since he doesn't want to be put in a box. But he noted that he was aware what the reveal could do to his career.
"I had those fears. In black music, we've got so many leaps and bounds to make with acceptance and tolerance in regard to that issue. It reflects something just ingrained, you know. When I was growing up, there was nobody in my family—not even my mother—who I could look to and be like, 'I know you've never said anything homophobic.' So, you know, you worry about people in the business who you've heard talk that way. Some of my heroes coming up talk recklessly like that. It's tempting to give those views and words—that ignorance—more attention than they deserve. Very tempting.
"Some people said, 'He's saying he fell in love with a guy for hype,'" he continued. "As if that's the best hype you can get in hip-hop or black music. So I knew that if I was going to say what I said, it had to be in concert with one of the most brilliant pieces of art that has come out in my generation. And that's what I did. Why can I say that? Why I don't have to affect all this humility and shit is because I worked my ass off. I worked my face off. And the part that you love the most is the easiest part for me. So I'll do it again."
Nas' tax problems continue, this time with a $1 million filing by the State of Georgia.
Nas previously had a problem with federal property taxes, owing approximately $6 million in unpaid debt. Now, the State of Georgia has another bone to pick with him, this time for $1 million.
According to TMZ, the State of Georgia has filed legal documents looking to collect $1,083,435 from Nas for the years 2006, 2007, 2009 and 2010. The Georgia Department of Revenue is commanding Live Nation to garnish wages made from Nas' current tour with Lauryn Hill in an effort to garnish his wages.
A representative for Nas says that the matter has been settled, but the GDR's case is still open and they're looking to recoup the money.
The U.S. government previously took a similar approach for Nas' federal taxes, claiming that he owed approximately $6 million. The IRS filed documents in Georgia to garnish his wages through BMI and ASCAP until his debt was settled.

G. Dep explains why he was "happy" with being sentenced to 15-years-to-life for murder.
In 2010, the world of Hip Hop was shocked to learn that G. Dep confessed to the murder of a man during a botched robbery attempt dating back to 1993. Now, in a recent interview with New York Magazine, the former Bad Boy rapper talks about life in prison since his 15-years-to-life sentence.
Surprisingly, Dep said that he was "happy" with the conviction, explaining that living with the guilt of the murder was unbearable. He added that while he doesn't believe that serving time over 17 years after the murder took place won't bring his victim back, it was just something he had to do before he moved on in life.
“I was happy,” he said. “It sounds crazy to say you were happy about getting a fifteen-to-life sentence, but I was. It just seemed to me like the end of a nightmare. I was living in 1993 for seventeen years...It wasn’t something I was going through periodically; it was something that was like a knot at all times. Sometimes I didn’t even want to walk with my head up. I just wanted to look down. If I stood up, I felt funny, like, ‘Who am I to be looking up?’ ”
He added, "I don’t know how me being incarcerated—I can’t measure how much it makes anything any better. But I just know what I had to do.
Cash Money Records has reached a new milestone after selling 500 million singles worldwide.
As if having one of the most popular artist line-ups and long-standing labels in Hip Hop isn't enough, it looks like the YMCMB family can add another title to its name. Now, in a recent press release, Cash Money has announced that it has officially sold over 500 million singles worldwide.
With a platinum-selling release from Nicki Minaj this year and multi-platinum LPs from Lil Wayne and Drake last year, YMCMB officially crossed the 500 million singles sold mark. Birdman spoke on the event, saying that while it's an accomplishment for both him and his brother/co-own Ronald "Slim" Williams, they have no intention of stopping now.
"There is no more dynamic and prolific a label than Cash Money Records and the YMCMB family - point blank. We're proud of every one of our artists and their contribution to our legacy,” he said. “What's most humbling is the global reaction to our story. Slim and I built this label from the ground up and seeing our brand connect with people across borders, culture and language makes us appreciate every one of our fans worldwide. We can't wait to deliver another 500 million bangers Success is something that Slim and I have always aimed for. It feels great to sell 500 million songs but fans should know, we aren’t going to stop now, and will continue our legacy.”
This isn't the only record the New Orleans label has achieved in the past year. Back in September, Lil Wayne surpssed Elvis Presley's record for most number of Billboard Top 100 hits.
Nicki Minaj describes the rigors of being an "American Idol" judge.
It turns out that Nicki Minaj's biggest difficulty with her "American Idol" judge position isn't Mariah Carey.
“They're very long days," explained Nicki to "E! News." "I’m not really used to having to show up somewhere at a specific time,” added the Young Money Star
NIcki continued, explaining how the "Idol" job meant having others depending on her. “I kinda been my own boss for a few years, so this is like adding discipline back in my life. This is adding that strict regime of having to do something. Everybody’s affected by what I do.”
In addition to her work on "American Idol," Nicki is releasing the third installment of her Pink Friday debut titled The Re-Up, out on November 19.

Cassidy denies aiming his latest track at fellow Philadelphia emcee Meek Mill.
Over the past few weeks, tensions between Meek Mill and Cassidy have been brewing, culminating in what many believed was a diss track issued by Cassidy. Now, in a recent interview with Power 105.1 via HipHop-N-More, Cass renounces dissing his fellow Philly emcee.
Cassidy explained that his most recent song "The Diary Of A Hustla" is not actually a diss against the MMG emcee. Although he didn't deny having issues with the Philadelphia upstart, Cassidy said that he recorded the song hours prior to their feud on Twitter.
"[Meek] definitely don't [want a battle with me]," he said. "That wasn't a diss record - I was messing around with the beats, I got my MP back, I was banging out and just put something together. But I just put it out a couple hours after we went through that Twitter situation, so everybody called it a Meek diss. It wasn't; it just was a record to give the streets some bars. If I do a diss record, it's gonna be on the ether level, if not worse. It's gonna be direct, you gonna know it's a diss record - you gonna know who I'm talking about."
Shyne alleges that 50 Cent cooperated with the cops in an attempt to ruin Irv Gotti's career.
Between questioning Drake's credibility to attacking Kendrick Lamar's debut album, Shyne hasn't been playing friendly with many fellow emcees as of late. Now, in a recent interview with AllHipHop, Shyne Po makes a number of salacious allegations against 50 Cent.
Shyne recalled meeting Fif while ghostwriting for Diddy's 1999 LP Forever, saying that Fiddy was running scared from his foes Irv Gotti and Murder Inc. after a scuffle with the crew in 2000. He said that 50 actually hired police security to protect him from Gotti and company, and even gave police information on Gotti's supposed business dealings with notorious drug dealer Kenneth "Supreme" McGriff.
“When I met [50 Cent] he was writing raps for Diddy on Forever. This was after Gotti and them poked him up in the Hit Factory and he ran to the cops and got a order of protection. He was walking around with a group of police, NYPD was holding him down. I swear to God he was in Daddy’s House in the lounge and he had security. He hadn’t sold one record. He hadn’t even put an album out...50 Cent was nobody, nobody knew who he was. He was hiding from Iv Gotti and Murder Inc. He’s the reason that Irv got indicted. He’s the reason that Kenneth Supreme McGriff is in prison for the rest of his life.”
Raekwon expresses his doubt about the rumored Wu-Tang Clan reunion.
Over the past few weeks, rumors have been circulating that the Wu-Tang Clan may release a final reunion album on the eve of the 20th anniversary of their seminal debut Enter the Wu-Tang: The 36 Chambers. Now, in a recent interview with Global Grind, Wu-Tang alum Raekwon speaks on the possibility of the Clan's reunion.
The Chef expressed his doubts about the tentative reunion, saying that the Clan as a whole hasn't taken the necessary steps to begin working on the project. He explained that it's paramount that the crew approach the project with a more serious attitude to ensure that it is financially beneficial for all parties. Despite his trepidation, however, Rae said that he would be all in for a reunion project.
"We've been talking about it and it's a lot of discussion about it, but it's not consolidated yet," he said. "We know as a group that 20 years in the business is something serious, so there was a couple of conversations going on about it...you know, everyone's so nonchalant about shit, like they don't know if it's going to happen. For me, it's like I don't respect that because it should happen. It should happen in a way where it can help us from all the shit we've been through together."
He continued, "We've made a lot of money, of course, and we've lost a lot of money, and it kinda put certain cats in situations where this can help [them] right now - at the end of the day, it can help all of use, but it can help the ones that really need to be helped and it can put us back where we need to be financially, back in the game as one of the iconic groups in the game, but it takes a lot of loyalty, it takes a lot of love, it takes a lot of respect. I want to see it happen, but more importantly, I want to see it done the right way."
The Nevada State Athletic Commission has approved a promoters license for 50 Cent.
The decision came after Fif and Floyd Mayweather, Jr., has an apparent falling out. So instead of TMT (The Money Team) Promotions, the company is titled SMS Promotions.
ESPN reports that 50's application was approved in a 5-0 vote of the commission, provided that he provides three more pieces of information to the commission.
During the questioning process, 50 said of Mayweather, "as he came out of incarceration (on Aug. 3 after two months in county jail in Las Vegas) he decided he wanted to do things differently, but I had already invested $1.5 million in acquiring fighters and I would like to move forward."

Andre 3000 says that he is "kind of up in the air" about making new music.
With five-plus years since their last project Idlewild, fans have been feverishly anticipating the return of the original ATLiens Outkast. Now, in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, the duo's less prolific member Andre 3000 speaks on the possibility of his solo career and a reunion with his partner Big Boi.
Three Stacks explained that he's been wavering in his desire to make music as of late. While he didn't rule out any kind of a return to music either as a solo artist or a group, he said that his focus is more on film these days. Still, he added that his indecision hasn't kept him writing and recording new music, whether it's for other artists or himself.
"Things are kind of up in the air with me, and some days, I feel like yeah, I'll do it," he said. "Some days, I feel like, I don't. I don't know the future of music right now. I have no idea what I do. I honestly don't. I record and I write ideas. I think I'll always do that, for some reason. But I don't know if it will go to another artist or will it be my stuff or will it go to some movie? I don't know. I just kind of keep creating and hopefully, it'll fall into a slot."
He added, "My whole motivation is, I don't want to mess these people's songs up, more than anything than let me do something great. I try to do great, but it's just a different mind frame now. I don't sit around and rap everyday. I don't."

Rick Ross was hit with a lawsuit over cutting his live show short after only 15-minutes.
From no-show's to impostors, some Hip Hop artists are notorious for their lacking live performances. Now, it appears that Rick Ross has been hit with a lawsuit for turning in a paltry 15-minute performance.
According to AllHipHop, the MMG impresario was recently slammed with a $226,000 lawsuit over a less-than-satisfactory performance. SM Global Union agreed to pay Ross $90,000 for an hour long set, but the Miami rapper walked off stage after only 15-minutes.
Ross isn't the only emcee named in the lawsuit, however. SM Global Union is also suing tour-mates Meek Mill and Waka Flocka Flames for breach of contract after both failed to promote the event on Facebook and Twitter as contractually stipulated.
This isn't the first time the Bawse has been sued for the quality of his live show; last year, Nigeria's Cross River State sued him after he bailed on its Calabar Festival.DX will keep you updated as more information comes to light.
Jalonta Freeman paid $200 for a phony iPad that turned out to be nothing but a gussied-up mirror.
A Texas woman is seeing red after buying an iPad that turned out to be a mirror.
Jalonta Freeman paid $200 for the phony tablet in a scheme experts say tends to pick up around the holidays.
It all started when a stranger approached the women in the parking lot of an Arlington gas station, offering iPads and laptops at steep discounts. He told Freeman he would be willing to sell her an $800 iPad at a fourth the retail price.
Thinking the offer was too good to pass up — especially with the holidays right around the corner — Freeman handed over the cash and the guy drove off.
NBC 5 News
From behind, it looks like an iPad, but ...
She wasn’t pleased with what she found inside the box.
"I just started cussing," Freeman told a local television station. "I was upset. Anybody would be upset if you found out you just got scammed, you know what I'm saying? You just lost $200."
The faux iPad looked sort of like the real thing from the back, with an Apple logo and everything. Covering the reflective front, labels with prices made for a fairly good disguise.
Still, the bright, shiny surface Freeman found when she unwrapped the packaging just couldn’t compare to a Retina display.
NBC 5 News
Once unwrapped, the counterfeit Apple product turns out to be just a piece of reflective glass.
"That's so messed up," Freeman, who admitted to feeling pretty stupid, said. "That's so wrong. I would never do anybody like that. Get a job."
The woman contacted local police but without a license plate number, she admits there isn’t much hope.
And she says she’s learned a good lesson: Never to buy from street vendors.
Off the black market, new iPads start at $399 for WiFi-only models. The new Retina display model with cellular connectivity, available later this year, will definitely cost more than $200.

The rapper is part of a new marketing campaign titled “Oakland. To Know it is To Love It,” which features the rapper espousing the positive changes that have occurred in Oakland over the past 25-years.
“My admiration, love and understanding of what the culture of Oakland is, is from experience,” MC Hammer said. “I’ve been here 50 years. Our city is one of the greatest cities to ever rise up and stand up.”

On the campaign’s official website, MC Hammer offers up six different areas for tourists to experience Oakland, including its unique neighborhoods, the city’s theaters, Lake Merritt, Jack London Square, the company’s sports teams and the digital community in the city.

"U Don't See Me" ... Young Dro said it in a rap and did it in real life ... failing to respond to a lawsuit filed against him over a Maserati and now he has to pay up.
As TMZ first reported, Dro was sued earlier this year in and Atlanta court after he defaulted on payments for his 2007 Maserati Quattroporte Sport. The leasing company behind the suit repo'd the car and claimed the rapper still owed them $61,220.37.
A default judgment was entered at the end of October in the company's favor because Dro dropped the ball and failed to respond to the suit after he was served.
The rapper was ordered to cough up the full amount plus attorney's fees. Grand total = $67,613.12.
It looks like Cee Lo Green may have been involved in a physical alteration with two women in Miami.
Fresh off his recent sexual battery accusations, it looks like Cee Lo Green may be in trouble again. Now, in a report from TMZ, news broke that the Goodie Mob alum was reportedly involved in a physical scuffle with two women.
Reports are now surfacing that Cee Lo was embroiled in a fracas with two women in July 2011. Although details in the case are shaky, the Atlanta rapper was reportedly attacked by two women at hotel in Miami, prompting police intervention.
Witnesses and Cee Lo told police that he met the two intoxicated women at a nightclub and brought them back to his hotel room. Apparently, the Goodie Mob rapper got into an argument with one of the women, and eventually asked them to leave. Once outside, however, the two women physically attacked the rapper.
At the time of the event, no one was arrested as the scuffle was deemed mutual combat. DX will keep you updated as more information comes to light.
Is it me, or is Soulja Boy hella desperate for publicity these days? The rapper, who hasn’t had a hit in God knows how long, recently tried to drum up some publicity with his former BFF, Bow Wow…
…and now the rapper has “accidentally” posted a photo of his penis on his Tumblr account. This new publicity stunt low has me thinking, should Soulja Boy just quit music all together and move on to a career as a porn star? Many rappers have done it at one time or another, dating all the way back to Big Daddy Kane, and most recently with YMCMB rapper, Tyga.
From the looks of the photo, Soulja Boy definitely has the tools to become a star in the field of porn, and he has a lot of experience in front of the camera, so why not? His musical career has taken a nose dive, and although he has millions of fans on Twitter, those numbers just haven’t been translating to record sales for the youngin’. So, maybe a “home movie” – as Kanye West so eloquently calls it – can bring him back to the top. Hey, it worked for Kim Kardashian!
If you’re interested, you can check out the uncensored version of Soulja Boy’s photohere.
Kat Stacks continues to fight for her freedom after two years of being detained by officers from the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement ICE).
Kat Stacks, born Andrea Herrera, was one of Hip-Hop’s most famous hanger-ons, until she was arrested in November of 2010 on a felony immigration charge.
November 5 marked a total of two years of incarceration for Kat Stacks, who is being held at the immigration detention center in Louisiana.
A new online campaign that has been launched on behalf of Kat Stacks labeled her a victim of sex trafficking as a minor.
The “DREAMer” campaign is attempting to free Kat Stacks, by encouraging fans to call a number, email or send a tweet.
“When she was 19 Andrea was finally able to reunite with her family; to cope with it all she started the persona ‘Kat Stacks,’” a statement read. “Kat used this persona to connect with other victims as well as connecting with artists. These artists have even used Kat Stacks in their lyrics.”
A rep for the campaign claims a judge is using Kat Stacks’ online personality as a catalyst to deport her to her homeland of Venezuela.
Kat Stacks is seeking to get a green card and citizenship under The Dream Act, a new two-year reprieve passed by the government, for illegal immigrants who were brought to the United States as children.
The “DREAMer” campaign asks fans to send the following message on behalf of Kat Stacks:
Call ICE @ 202-732-3000
“Hi, I am calling to urge ICE to release Andrea Herrera (A#077-012-275) from LaSalle Detention Facility. She is a DREAMer, the mother of a 3-year old, and the survivor of sex trafficking as a minor. I don’t understand why she has not been released.”
It's been 15 years since his iconic sitcom went off the air ... but Martin Lawrence tells TMZ ... HE MIGHT BE BACK ON TV!!!
Martin and his family were leaving Boa Steakhouse in Hollywood last night when he told us he's decided to take a break from the world of movies ... but when it comes to the small screen, Lawrence said, "I may be back to TV soon."
Martin didn't give up any details about his TV plans ... but it MAY have something to do with a sitcom he was reportedly working on earlier this year.
According to reports, Martin had struck a deal to get the show on CBS, but the network pulled the plug back in May.
Now, it seems like there may still be life in the project ... unless Martin has a whole NEW SHOW up his sleeve. Hopefully it involves Gina.
Stacey Dash is really bummed out that Mitt Romney is NOT the next President of These United States ... and we know she's bummed out because she sent us a 1,344 word essay about it.
In her statement, Dash touches on sleeping, hanging chads, her baby, her DNA, Osama Bin Laden ... and she also refers to herself in the 3rd person.
As we previously reported, Dash took a whole lotta heat for being one of the only black people in Hollywood to not support Barack Obama.
But at the end of her paper, Dash does say, "I am hopeful that President Obama will lead us to becoming the great United States of America that thrives."
Stacey Dash everyone ... she was in "Clueless" once.

Sources at the L.A. City Attorney's Office tell TMZ ... they were unaware the Santa Monica City Attorney was going to file criminal charges against Lindsay until they read our post this morning. They are "gathering information" but so far no decision has been made regarding a possible probation violation in Lindsay's jewelry heist case.
Lindsay Lohan will be charged with the crime of lying to police after her car accident in June on Pacific Coast Highway ... TMZ has learned.
We broke the story ... Lohan told cops she was NOT behind the wheel of her Porsche when it slammed into the back of an 18-wheeler. Fact is she was -- according to multiple witnesses.
Law enforcement sources tell us ... the case will be filed as a misdemeanor by the Santa Monica City Attorney ... possibly this week.
The charge could spell huge trouble for Lindsay, because she's currently on probation for the jewelry heist. The criminal filing could trigger a probation violation, and Judge Stephanie Sautner -- the jewelry judge -- could send her to the slammer for a long, long time.
And law enforcement sources tell us ... cops found prescription pills in her purse after the crash. Witnesses tell us pills were also scattered in her trunk. Our sources say authorities were prepared to charge LiLo with drug crimes, but Lindsay's lawyer, Shawn Holley, gave cops documentations from Lindsay's doctor, saying the pills were properly prescribed. Authorities then backed off that charge.
As for the charge of lying to cops, Lindsay almost dodged that bullet. You may recall, after the accident, Lindsay went to the hospital where she was interviewed by cops, and that's when she told them she wasn't behind the wheel. Her lawyer, Shawn Holley, made a mad dash for the hospital to muzzle her client (see video), but she was a few minutes too late.
Lil Wayne is pissed off that he lost his lawsuit against Quincy Jones III ... not because of the money, but because he thinks the judge should have given him time to recover from his illness so he could have made his case to the jury.
Wayne is telling his boys he's positive jurors were "pissed off" because he didn't show up and testify.
Wayne says he could have turned jurors and convinced them that Quincy's documentary on him was defamatory. He's also convinced the jury would never have awarded Quincy more than $2 mil for lost profits as a result of Wayne trashing the flick.
But the big thing is ... Wayne says he was sick, couldn't fly to L.A. and was dealing with a "medical emergency situation."
But he's leaving out one important fact. He wasn't so sick he couldn't take his tour bus from Louisiana to Miami to sit courtside for the Heat game.
As for the $2 mil -- Wayne's brushing it off because he says that's small change to him.
President Barack Obama handily defeated Gov. Mitt Romney and won himself a second term Tuesday after a bitter and historically expensive race that was primarily fought in just a handful of battleground states. Obama beat Romney after nabbing the crucial state of Ohio.
The Romney campaign's last-ditch attempt to put blue-leaning Midwestern swing states in play failed as Obama's Midwestern firewall sent the president back to the White House for four more years. Obama picked up the swing states of New Hampshire, Michigan, New Mexico, Iowa, Wisconsin, Colorado, Nevada, Pennsylvania, Minnesota, and Ohio. Florida and Virginia are still too close to call, but even if he won them, they would not give Romney enough Electoral College votes to put him over the top. The popular vote will most likely be much narrower than the president's Electoral College victory.
The Obama victory marks an end to a years-long campaign that saw historic advertisement spending levels, countless rallies and speeches, and three much-watched debates.
The Romney campaign cast the election as a referendum on Obama's economic policies, frequently comparing him to former President Jimmy Carter and asking voters the Reagan-esque question of whether they are better off than they were four years ago. But the Obama campaign pushed back on the referendum framing, blanketing key states such as Ohio early on with ads painting him as a multimillionaire more concerned with profits than people. The Obama campaign also aggressively attacked Romney on reproductive rights issues, tying Romney to a handful of Republican candidates who made controversial comments about rape and abortion.
These ads were one reason Romney faced a steep likeability problem for most of the race, until his expert performance at the first presidential debate in Denver in October. After that debate, and a near universal panning of Obama's performance, Romney caught up with Obama in national polls, and almost closed his favoribility gap with the president. In polls, voters consistently gave him an edge over Obama on who would handle the economy better and create more jobs, even as they rated Obama higher on caring about the middle class.
But the president's Midwestern firewall--and the campaign's impressive grassroots operation--carried him through. Ohio tends to vote a bit more Republican than the nation as a whole, but Obama was able to stave off that trend and hold an edge there over Romney, perhaps due to the president's support of the auto bailout three years ago. Romney and his running mate Paul Ryan all but moved to Ohio in the last weeks of the campaign, trying and ultimately failing to erase Obama's lead there.
A shrinking electoral battleground this year meant that only 14 states were really seen as in play, and both candidates spent most of their time and money there. Though national polls showed the two candidates in a dead heat, Obama consistently held a lead in the states that mattered. That, and his campaign's much-touted get out the vote efforts and overall ground game, may be what pushed Obama over the finish line.
Now, Obama heads back to office facing what will most likely be bitterly partisan negotiations over whether the Bush tax cuts should expire. The House will still be majority Republican, with Democrats maintaining their majority in the Senate.
The loss may provoke some soul searching in the Republican Party. This election was seen as a prime opportunity to unseat Obama, as polls showed Americans were unhappy with a sluggish economy, sky-high unemployment, and a health care reform bill that remained widely unpopular. Romney took hardline positions on immigration, federal spending, and taxes during the long Republican primary when he faced multiple challenges from the right. He later shifted to the center in tone on many of those issues, but it's possible the primary painted him into a too-conservative corner to appeal to moderates during the general election. The candidate also at times seemed unable to effectively counter Democratic attacks on his business experience and personal wealth.
I really can’t call this one. 50 Cent has been throwing shots at Floyd Mayweather over Twitter for a while now, and Floyd finally publicly responded over the weekend with a few shots of his own.
Mayweather sent out a flurry of tweets bashing 50 Cent’s album sales, calling him a “male groupie,” and even getting 50′s arch nemesis, Rick Ross, in on the action. Check out a few of Mayweather’s tweets below:
Wow, Floyd was not holding anything back with his tweets! And what does Rick Ross mean, “We the new Money Team?” Should we expect a Floyd/Rick Ross diss record against 50 Cent soon? Is Rick Ross going to be holding Mayweather’s belts on his way into the ring at his next fight?
Well, according to 50 Cent, his grandmother heard about all of the drama and urged him to put a stop to promoting someone who was convicted of “domestic violence.” 50 also confessed to the beef being fake?! Really, 50?! Check out 50′s tweets below:
Apparently, Floyd didn’t like 50 referring to his domestic violence past, and according to 50, Floyd began texting him like crazy.
These two are too much. Some of you called this beef out as a publicity stunt when the two first started going at each other. Now that 50 has admitted it, do you believe him? It just seems all too convenient that as soon as Floyd began calling 50 out on some of his career woes, 50 threw in the towel and called the beef out as fabricated. One would even observe that as soon as Rick Ross got involved, 50 high-tailed it out of tweet-ville. I can’t call it. I just hope we get a Mayweather/Pacquiao fight out of this. Shoot, right now I’d settle for a Mayweather/50 Cent fight on Pay-Per View!!
As you know Cee-Lo was hit up when some woman claimed he slipped her a Molly or something. Let me say straight up…I’m hearing its all BS. Her facts have not added up from people I’ve talked to. Basically, he’s being shaken down. But, you can’t tell that to some people.
Rumor has it, the people at “The Voice” are looking to let Cee-Lo go before the end of THIS SEASON? This just sounds impossibly crazy, but its the word. Now, some speculate that they have all known these allegations were on the way, because Cee-Lo had already announced he would not be returning for the next season so he could work on music.
Lil Wayne takes a L in his legal battle against the makers of "The Carter" and has been ordered to pay $2 million in damages.
While his controversial deposition may have taken up most of the recent spotlight, Lil Wayne has been embroiled in a legal battle with filmmaker Quincy Jones III over his '09 documentary The Carter. Now, in a recent report from TMZ, it appears that Weezy has lost the suit and been ordered to pay upwards of $2 million in damages.
A judge has ordered the YMCMB rapper to pay $2,195,000 to QD3 Entertainment for breach of contract and blocking the release of Jones' infamous documentary on the New Orleans rapper. Wayne's initial suit began in 2009 over failure to give Wayne final approval over the film, and was followed by Jones' counter-suit in 2011.
According to the report, Wayne's recent medical issues may have played a hand in the ruling, as did his notorious deposition. The rapper was unable to appear in court to testify in the case due to the seizure-like symptoms preventing him from flying, forcing his lawyer to rely on his video deposition.
Lil Wayne is also suing QD3 Entertainment for the unauthorized use of his music in the film. DX will keep you updated as more information comes to light in the case.
Michael Wright hand-wrapped the NYPD an early Christmas present this morning when he gave them the easiest DWI arrest ever ... by hitting a police car ... TMZ has learned.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ ... Wright -- who starred in the classic movie "The Five Heartbeats" -- was trying to park his 1978 black Rolls Royce in Manhattan when he hit the car that had two officers sitting inside.
We're told the officers went to have a word with Wright and detected an odor of alcohol on his breath. After the field sobriety test didn't go Wright's way, the officers arrested him.
Law enforcement sources tell TMZ right's blood alcohol level was well above the legal limit.
We're told both officers were taken to a local hospital to be checked out after the accident.
Cassidy says he'd battle Meek Mill if the money is right.
It's been a while since there was a high-profile Rap battle, but fans may get their chance to see one soon.
In response to Meek Mill's offer to battle Cassidy or Murda Mook, Cassidy called into Philadelphia's Hot 107.9 to discuss the prospect of battling the fellow Philly emcee.
"Well, you know, that's what I do, man. I mean, I'm cut from that cloth. I started off with battling so I'm into that but ever since I got a deal and started getting money up in this industry, it wasn't really beneficial for me to battle especially with a bunch of those dudes that are battling all the time," explained Cassidy."I know I'ma bite they head off but it's like, really, what am I going to get out of it?"
Cassidy explained that Meek's status made the proposition a good one for Cass. "Meek got that wave right now, he a household name, bigging him up -- we definitely can get a nice crowd, get some crazy sponsors and get some chicken up. So it'll be beneficial for me to do something like that."
Earlier this week, Meek Mill was detained by the police in Philadelphia as he was on his way to his album release party for his debut album,“Dreams and Nightmares”. The MMG rapper was ironically wearing both a Rolex watch and handcuffs, a replica of his album cover. I guess Meek Mill really does live this life.
Meek took to his Twitter page and blasted the Philadelphia police department for violating and harassing him for being “famous.” Check out his tweets below:
MTV RapFixgot an exclusive comment from Philly police, who say it was just a “normal” case.
“He was stopped in a vehicle but was not arrested. He was only detained in a substation. In normal cases, we do not give out this kind of information, so I can’t release anything further.”
Meek Mill Dreams And Nightmares Artwork
Meek is estimated to sell about 200K copies of his debut album, and would have had the number one album in the country had it not been for Taylor Swift’s album,Red, which has already sold 1.208 million copies, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
Natina Reed's funeral is being held today in her hometown -- and TMZ has learned that rapper Kurupt, the father of her son, is covering all the expenses.
Reed -- who passed away on October 26 after she was struck by a car -- is being laid to rest at the Abundant Life Church in Lithonia, GA.
According to our sources, Kurupt -- the father of Reed's 10-year-old son Tren -- is footing the bill for service as well as for the gathering after.
We're told Tren will remain in Kurupt's custody -- like he has for the past four years -- and that Kurupt hopes Tren will maintain a close relationship with Reed's family.
Chilli and T-Boz from TLC, rappers Big Boi, Daz and Snoop Dogg (or whatever he's calling himself these days) are all expected to be in attendance today ... as well as members of Reed's R&B group, Blaque.
Waka Flocka states that he hates Kobe Bryant, but says the Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard is better than LeBron James.
Known for occasionally getting it in on the basketball court, Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka had a lot to say in regards to the sport during an interview with The Bay’s WILD 94.9. The Brick Squad artist proclaimed the Oklahoma Thunder as being his favorite team and even voiced his opinion on Kobe Bryant versus LeBron James.
“As a basketball player, I’ll say Kobe Bryant,” said Waka when asked which NBA baller is the most talented. “And I hate Kobe Bryant. I feel like LeBron’s a sellout. No matter what nobody say. As a kid growing up it was never about no check or no ring. It was about, ‘I play basketball man. I’m happy because I’m in the NBA.’ Now everybody, it’s like a check and a ring.”
The rapper also went on to name Michael Jordan and Kevin Durant as just two of the players he would recruit for his own personal Dream Team.
Later in the interview, Waka Flocka spoke on possible collaborations and revealed that he feels he’s still a ways away from attaining those big name features.
“I still feel like I don’t deserve a Kanye feature, a Jay-Z feature, a Fifty feature,” the rapper explained. “You know what I mean? I been rapping since ’09. I gotta work. I probably give it til next year…I don’t even know how to count bars still. It’s still new to me.”
Fresh off the dissolution of The Money Team, 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather exchange verbal jabs on Twitter.
As if it wasn't already apparently when he dismantled The Money Team earlier this week, but 50 Cent's relationship with boxer Floyd Mayweather has been quickly deteriorating over the past few months. Now, it appears as if the two have aired out their issues on Twitter.
The spat between the former friends began with Fiddy taunting Mayweather, saying boxer Yuriorkis Gamboa - who is signed to Fif's SMS Promotions company - wants to fight the undefeated boxer. Fif's jabs then turned personal, calling Mayweather broke and saying that he's running away from a fight with Manny Pacquiao.
MONEY Floyd you know I have more MONEY then you.Al Haymen got you on a Allowance, you go broke every fight stupid. SMSaudio
Mayweather responded to 50 with a slew of insults of his own, calling him a "male boxing groupie." Topping off his barrage of disses, Mayweather attacked Fif's career, saying that his relevance in the industry is dwindling and that the likes of Rick Ross and Lil Wayne have taken his spot.
The bromance between 50 Cent and Floyd Mayweather Jr. is officially over. 50 officially ended things last night with his own version of a ‘Dear John’ letter that he tweeted out to his millions of followers last night. The tweets reveal that 50 has cut all business ties with Floyd, specifically their popular “The Money Team” promotions company, because as he put it“the other half of the money team did not put up their money.”
In typical 50 Cent style, the rapper then went on to try to tarnish the brand he built with his former best friend by claiming to be selling his official TMT jacket “for a dollar” and selling the TMT sweatsuits for $7.99. 50 is one bad man! Check out his tweets below:
So far there has been no response from Floyd Mayweather Jr. on the 50′s announcement.
Sidenote – Did you all hear about Floyd’s fiancee, Ms. Jackson, doing a commercial with one of Floyd’s boxing rival Victor Ortiz? The commercial is a spoof on the art of the unbuttoned shirt, its a big thing in the Latin community. Anyway, in the commercial Ms. Jackson is seductively looking at Victor Ortiz and is sitting mighty close to him.
Funny moment during the Chris Brown progress hearing today -- the singer tried to talk in court ... and his lawyer shut his ass down.
The hearing (stemming from the Rihanna beating case) was pretty standard ... Brown's lawyer Mark Geragos asked for permission for Brown to go on an upcoming world tour and discussed Chris' community service ... which, for once, didn't raise any red flags.
But the funniest moment happened when Chris opened his mouth in an effort to answer the judge's question regarding his tour schedule.
Before he could get a word out, Geragos stepped in and shut him up saying, "I don't dance, you don't talk."
The judge laughed ... and quipped, "We would like to see you dance, Mr. Geragos."
Doctors order Lil Wayne to stay on the ground following last week's mid-flight seizures.
Last week, Lil Wayne gave his family and fans a scare when he experienced seizure-like symptoms two times in under 24 hours during a flight. Now, accoridng to XXL, Weezy F's doctors have ordered the rapper to stay on the ground following the ordeal.
XXL reports via TMZ that doctors have advised Lil Wayne to travel by ground transportation and not by plane following his medical situation last week. The YMCMB impresario has been recovering at his mother's house in Louisiana since the event, and is expected to travel back to his Miami home via bus.
As previously stated, Wayne suffered from seizure-like symptoms twice during a 24 hour period reportedly due to severe dehydration and migraines. G.O.O.D. Music rapper 2 Chainz recently spoke to MTV about Weezy's ordeal and said that Wayne was "straight" following the crisis.
Police apparently caused Meek Mill to miss his own album release party after detaining him last night.
With his studio debut Dreams and Nightmares having dropped and projected to sell close to 200,000 in its first week, it's hard to imagine that anything could ruin Meek Mill's week. According to Rap-Up, however, it looks like police managed to damper the rapper's spirits after causing him to miss his own album release party.
Last tonight October 31, Philadelphia police detained the MMG rapper as he was leaving for his own album release in Atlanta. Although the rapper was not charged with any crimes, he said that they prevented him from being able to make it to the party and harassed him throughout the evening.
Jay-Z has been tapped to perform at the swing state's rally for President Barack Obama.
Jay-Z is among the performers who will take part in President Barack Obama's rally in Columbus, Ohio on Monday (November 5).
Ohio, an extremely important swing state, is key to the presidential election. And while well-known artists like Bruce Springsteen will also be performing, it's Hov who's got the ultimate honors: introducing President Obama himself.
Jay, who once rapped that he was "a small reason why the President is black," has had a longstanding relationship with the President. Obama has stated that Jay-Z is among the artists on regular rotation in his iPod, and Obama even appeared in a video during Jay's "Made in America" festival. Jay has, in turn, supported Obama's stance on gay marriage, and helped host a fundraiser for the campaign in September.

Kendrick Lamar sells nearly a quarter-million copies of "good kid, m.A.A.d. city," as the charts get a facelift from a Wu-Tang Clan soundtrack, Vinnie Paz, P.O.S., Stevie Stone and Cold 187um.
This was perhaps the biggest week on the charts of 2012. At the top, Taylor Swift went platinum in less than seven days with Red. Only the Country/Pop starlet could steal Kendrick Lamar's thunder, as the Compton, California's first major label album, good kid, m.A.A.d. city sold nearly 250,000 units and grabbed the Black Hippy member a coveted #2.
Independent Hip Hop went strong, as Psychopathic Records released a new solo project from Above The Law's Cold 187um (a/k/a Big Hutch) after a tumultuous year, scoring him benchmark solo success. Doomtree'sP.O.S. landed a Top 50 in his third Rhymesayers Entertainment solo record, all while battling a kidney condition that pulled the Punk/Poetry-inspired emcee from touring. Jedi Mind Tricks' Vinnie Paz reached the Top 100 with his sophomore solo album, God Of The Serengeti. Paz linked with production from DJ Premier and The Beatnuts on his latest outing. Lastly, another former Ruthless Records artist (albeit from another era), Stevie Stone rang the Top 200 for the second time this year with his Momentum release on Strange Music.
Kendrick Lamar Takes A Quarter Million People To His m.A.A.d. city
Kendrick Lamar has dominated the Hip Hop media cycle for the last 11 days. Fans and critics have thrown the c-word around ("classic," that is) regarding his first album through Interscope Records/Aftermath Entertainment. K.Dot's first major label release, while Shyne and Game got into it regarding their own opinions. Whichever side is taken, the album shines as one of Rap's premier releases from 2012. Appearances by Compton legends Dr. Dre and MC Eiht are balanced with those by Drake and band/label-mate Jay Rock. Production is split between TDE's longtime contributors such as Sounwave, THC and Tabu with work offered by Just Blaze, Pharrell, Hit-Boy and even Like of Pac Div. An online smash, "The Recipe" featuring Dre only made the album's Deluxe version, while "Swimming Pools (Drank)" has gone mainstream in the last month on terrestrial radio.
After A Difficult Year For Above The Law, Cold 187um Breaks Through
It was a big week for fans of West Coast Hip Hop, and not just TDE. Following the death this summer of KMG, Above The Law has suffered a difficult year. In the middle of a reported lawsuit against Eve, Interscope Records and Ruff Ryders Entertainment regarding "Love Is Blind," Cold 187um (a/k/a Big Hutch) inked a death with Insane Clown Posse's Psychopathic Records. Releasing his sixth retail project, The Only Solution is the first time Hutch has a solo record appearing on the Top 200. This particular outing finds the A.T.L. alum and Pomona, California pioneer rhyming over some of his label-mate's beats, including I.C.P., Twiztid, and Blaze Ya Dead Homie.
This is Hutch's sixth solo effort, dating back to 1999's Executive Decisions.
