Welcome to the blog of B Daht Obama! I've taken a new approach to MY blogs - I write letters to people. Hopefully one day some of the people can actually read the letters I write. If you have an idea of a letter you'd like me to write to someone (they don't HAVE to be in Sports) send it to theescore@yahoo. Hope you enjoy, and comments are STRONGLY encouraged!
Some players are traveling the country playing in All Star games like the recent stop the tour made to Winston Salem State University this weekend past. Stephen Jackson of the Milwaukee Bucks didn't make the trip; he chooses to spend his time off from basketball expressing himself like this:
Boise and Georgia unveiled their new uniforms for the season. I liked em a lot. Boise always stays at the forefront of Design and Distraction.; they were the first to implement BLUE TURF for God's sake. Sheesh.
The same couldn't be said about the new Maryland uniforms. They were designed by Under Armour, but they looked like they were designed in the Hellen Keller department.
What are your thoughts on the new uniforms in college?
Here is an email conversation between Shaq and Newsweek reporter Allison Samuels, and he let it be known that D. Wade was cheating on his girlfriend Gabrielle Union with another actress, Lauren London.
It appears that Samuels was trying to hook OâNeal up with some ladies all along. Check out the email exchange between the two, originally posted by Miami New Times, and let me knkow what YOU think, is Shaq DRY SNITCHING??
Samuels: Hi. Sesslielopez@gmail.com. [FYI, the email address bounces back]. Or I can give her your info? Sheâs not in the country until Wed so maybe then is better because she hasnât answered me about something else I asked her about. Also she asked about your personal life and I told her_whatever it is_-Iâm sure you had it under control. Still waiting on Robinneâs response.
Shaq: Sesslie aintdat fine whts robins last name
Samuels: You are so wrong! Robinne Lee_sheâs on Tyler Perryâs show sometimes. Do you know Lauren London_I donât_but I know James Lassiter knows how to reach her. You ever dealt with her_is she cool? Sharon Leal??
Shaq: Loren is d wadeâs girl im not wrong sesslie aint my type u r
Samuels: What about Gabrielle and Dwyane?
Shaq: He gottem all I want u or rihanna
Samuels: Rihanna is too young_19â she is just legal and you know Iâm very chatty and you said you didnât like that!!!!!
Shaq: Yeah but I told u had a crush on me and u wouldnt chat about us i kn o
Samuels: No_Iâm chatty in a relationship_not to others. You just decided I had a crush on you huh?? When did you decide that?
That's all we've got, but would you consider Shaq a snitch for his exchange?
Since taking his talents to South Beach, Lebron James has endured a LOT of negative comments and has gained a "LEGION of Non-supporters" known to some as HATERS.
I'm sure those individuals will get a hoot out of this as well as make it a LOT bigger thanit really is:
Sooooo, let's just all be glad the homie Chris Paul of the New Orleans Hornets can dribble, shoot, and pass MUCH better than his singing. This is bad, real bad Michael Jackson. Not only is his range ALL over the place, BUT as many times as i'm SURE he's watched "Lean on Me" To BRUTALLY Christina Aguillera these lyrics makes it THAT much more difficult to listen.
I'd rather hear Edward Scissorhands writing on a chalkboard
I'd rather hear 2 pigs oinking and boinking each other.
I'd rather hear Precious sleeping.
Let's not expect him to serenade his Bride To Be when they wed in the latter part of this year. Check the dreadful noise out here:
So, the television station in Raleigh, NC WRAL, was at the UNC vs. Florida State game in the Dean Dome on Sunday, February 5th, 2011 and caught 102Jamz' own B Daht dancing and having a grand ol time to conclude this video:
I was asked who I thought would play if Duke put together an All Time Team to play a game against an All Time UNC Team who do I think should participate; this is what I told em:
Duke: (PG) Jay Williams (SG) JJ Redick (SG) Grant Hill (PF) Elton Brand (C)Christian Laettner
UNC: (PG) Phil Ford (SG) Rashard McCants (SG) Michael Jordan (PF) James Worthy (C) Tyler Hansbrough
Wow. That would be one heck of a game.
This type of play in the NFL would definitely generate a ridiculous fine, but, this is the way the kids are being taught to make tackles. This is how it has always been. A defender is to dislodge the ball from the offensive player by any means necessary. The offenses goal is to get in the endzone, the defenses goal is to make sure that doesn't happen. Whoever wins that battle the most, usually wins the game. These types of tackles are ones that aid on the defensive side of things. What are your thoughts?
Apparently a video has leaked starring the wife of Head Coach of the NY Jets, Rex Ryan. Questions are:
Who's controlling the camera?
Why did I watch this entire 4 minutes?
Am I the only one who got semi turned on by these feet?
Is this some of the freakiest foolishness you've ever seen?
This weekend, Paul Williams got in the ring against Sergio Martinez. This was supposed to be a fairly easy when for the former Champion Paul Williams, but it only took a round and a half for Martinez to prove he was the better fighter that night.
Check out the video:
Kobe Bryant is in an ad for the Call of Duty: Black Ops game and is catching some pretty heavy flak for the appearance. If you haven't seen the commercial, take a look:
Now, the ME of 10 years ago would have LOVED this commercial! Some of my favorites persons make guest appearances in the :30 second spot. Kobe Bryant highlights because he's a superstar athlete, world renown, and noticeable by ages ranging from 4-100+. I know this to be fact because as I was initially watching said commercial, there was a 4 year old named Izayah standing right beside me who was the one who pointed Kobe out to me in the commercial. Initially, I missed Kobe, but with the power of DVR, i was able to rewind it and get a better look.
Yep, that was Kobe Bryant; holding an assault rifle, with a scope, shooting to kill. I just remember my 4 year old looking up at me and saying "Daddy, I wanna shoot like Kobe." He had said those words many times, but this was the first time his reference was away from a basketball court, and an orange ball and rim were the farthest from his mind.
10 years ago I would have thought it was cool that Kobe played the same shooting game as some of my closest friends, but when that face is noticeable to a four year old, who is at an extremely impressionable point in his life, I don't want him thinking there is ANYTHING cool with shooting semi automatic weapons. In my opinion, Kobe Bryant on a commercial of that magnitude is the equivalent to the irresponsibility of T.I.
Yeah, I've become THAT guy.
A Parent. One who is constantly trying to gauge the amount of ignorance and negativity that is seen by his son. One who is constantly thinking of his son in the years to come and knowing the things he experiences now will effect him for years to come.
Yeah, I've become that guy.
The guy who actually understands there are consequences for actions. The guy who gets called Mr. and Sir by high school and college kids alike. The guy who thinks that being of a superstar level and having millions of CHILDREN wearing your jersey, one should think about doing commercials shooting heavy artillery . Bad form Kobe, bad form.
Yeah. I've become THAT Guy.
The people of Cleveland got together and made a spoof of LeBron James' "Rise" commercial. What are your thoughts? Do you understand where the people of Cleveland are coming from OR do they need to just leave it alone??
I am a supporter of protecting the athlete. At the end of the day ALL athlete's want to make it home to their families. Regardless your profession, how dangerous, or lack thereof, the goal is to make it home to your family at the end of the shift. All persons responsible in setting the tone for the profession or making the rules to keep the "employees" safe should be commended, but sometimes the makers of these rules and laws don't take all aspects into account; this is an example of such a situation.
Due to the large amount of concussions this season, NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell hath implemented new rules and fines in order to "protect the offensive players" (please see Dunta Robinson case: http://espn.go.com/blog/nfcsouth/post/_/id/14437/dunta-robinson-gets-50000-fine) from helmet to helmet contact.
Hits like this one on Austin Collie, which will surely be a fine, should be taken into account. What happens when the offensive players moves mid tackle as the defensive player is already engaging in a tackle? And an even better question: HOW WAS THIS HIT UNNECESSARY roughness??
Thoughts, Comments, Concerns....
I personally LOVE this commercial. I like the way it reminds us that LBJ is just 25 years old, and actually did something that ANYONE in that situation would have done. Play professionally in Cleveland OR Miami? Not even a tough question; REGARDLESS where you're from. I like the shot he took at Charles Barkley. I like him portraying himself as a villain. I like him remembering all the things that have been said about him and attacking those things head on. Hats off to LeBron James.
Next year the Carolina vs. Duke rivalry SHOULD be restored. Hear first hand from the guys who will be playing in the game: Harrison Barnes (UNC) Reggie Bullock (UNC) Kendall Marshall (UNC) and Kyrie Irving (Duke) speak on the rivalry:
Kobe Bryant was asked who would win in a game of 1on1 versus LeBron James; he said he'd win with NO hesitation.
I agree. For all the reasons Kobe stated and more. Kobe is just better. Period. And i also think it's funny that he and Phil are playing these psychological games against LeBron and the Heat. These remarks made by Kobe, and Phil stating that if Chamberlain/Baylor/West couldn't get it done (being the 3 highest scorers in the history of the game) then what makes you think LBJ/DWade/Bosh can do it? Great point.
Fantasy Football is upon us! This is my first year as commissioner and I am THOROUGHLY excited about it! I'm a part of 4 lragues: 2 ESPN and 2 YAHOO.
I've got Tom Brady at QB in 3 of my leagues and one final draft next week; hopefully i'll be able to snab him again.
I have a couple of sleeper picks this year:
SLEEPER PICK: Many times you know the players that will do well week in and week out (i.e.: Brady, Peterson, Favre, A. Johnson, etc.) Some players have potential aren't "Key Guys" so aren't picked up; those are SLEEPER PICKS.
Some of last years sleeper picks: Harvin, Welker, Edelmen, Rice.
This year I'm picking 2 WR's as SLEEPER PICKS:
1. Brandon LaFell: Rookie WR for Carolina Panthers. He will be a great addition to the Running based offense, AND a GREAT compliment for the usually double covered Steve Smith.
2. Greg Camarillo: WR for Minnesota Vikings. The last 2 years this guy was an asset in the slot position for the Miami Dolphins, with a par at best QB in Chad Henne. Now that he has been traded to an injury riddled Vikings team with future Hall of Famer Brett Favre, expect him to be used a lot more. Big catches and numerous TD's.
I have others I will leak throughout the season. Make sure you stay tuned in to Daht's Blog.
At a Phillies game, a 17 year old fan calls his dad from the stand and says: "Dad, can i run on the field?", his dad says "i don't think you should son", then the kid says, "This would be a once in a lifetime experience!"
At that point, he hit the field running and is eventually tased to be subdued. The question is: Was the tasing justified or was it unnecessary?
Dahts Take: He had to be made an example of. With 6 officers on the field chasing him, and not being able to catch him, something had to be done. You can't just have people feeling like at any time they can run onto the field and delay the game for as long as they deem necessary. I enjoyed it and agree it was handled correctly.
If you haven't seen the tasing, check it out here:
It's about that time again Ladies and Gentlemen. Time for Women to feel like they aren't getting enough attention and time for men to constantly debate about "Who Is Better". It's time for Madden 2011.
In Tiger Woods' first commercial with NIKE since the "Thanksgiving Day Massacre", Tiger stands with a blank stare as he is scolded by an off camera voice; the voice is his lat Father Earl Woods. Many believe the attempts are to show Tiger as a human and to understand we all make mistakes. The question the commercial draws for many is: Is this a sincere side from Tiger or is this a PR failure? You be the judge:
Junior sensation Austin Rivers of Florida - the son of Boston Celtics Coach Doc Rivers - was listed as "committed" to the University of Florida. It appears he may've had a change of heart. Austin has entertained conversations to be a Blue Devil, made an unofficial visit to Durham, and more recently has been entertaining the thought of being a Tar Heel. So now the Rivalry ha heightened. The 2009 NCAA Champions vs The 2010 NCAA Champions - Duke vs Carolina - Let the arguing begin!!
If you haven't had a chance to check out Austin Rivers, here's some footage:
It’s no secret We, at the University of North Carolina, need a PG. This kid, Kendall Marshall (#6 player in the country) could be exactly what we need to get back on track to being what we are: The Class of the ACC. Check out this footage and see if you like our new addition!
Now, in that same vein, Jeff Teague (played at WF and now is an Atlanta Hawk) has a younger brother named Marquis. Top Point Guard in the 2011 class –this kid is PHENOMENAL and “inside sources” say he has been contacted by UNC. Check out this footage and see if you’d like THIS addition to UNC:
There's been a LOT of talk lately regarding who is the best between SUPERMAN (Shaquille O'Neal) or SUPERMAN (Dwight Howard).
Daht Perspective - I think Shaq looks like a disgruntled old man looking at the sunset of his career. I would think Shaq would do more to take Dwight under his wing and leave the game with some sort of dignity; not a jealous, hard hearted Veteran. Being an Orlando Magic fan, I remember Shaq as a Magic, and now having Dwight, the memories of Shaq have dwindled and i think that has added fuel to the fire that is: Superman vs. Superman.
Found a little video with some NICe comparisons of the two Big Men; what are your thoughts?
I enjoyed the Super Bowl as did the other millions of viewers, but i wasn't AS impressed as years past regarding the Super Bowl Commercials. With that being said, here are a couple of my favorites:
that was funny, but THIS one is REAL!! I can see Stink acting like this:
Back in 2001 Rae Carruth got 18yrs and 11 months for the conspiracy to kill his then girlfriend Cherica Adams. His son Chancellor Adams was born and suffered sever brain damage. Check out the OTL report done on young Chancellor now at the age of 10, hhis struggle, his purpose, and his strength.
The students at UT are pretty upset about Lane Kiffen only being a Volunteer for 1 year! Hear what they have to say here:
A new woman has surfaced as a mistress of Shaquille O'Neal. She's a 25 year old Swedish model and aspiring actress; her name is Dominica Westling, what you think?:
A phone call came in around 2:36am about a woman in distress. Paramedics arrived at Tiger Woods home a little after 2:45 - and an adult female was escorted to the hospital and put on "advanced life support". Here's the story reported by msnbc.com:
There has been a 3rd women to allegedly have an affair with Tiger Wodds: Kalika Moquin. Kalika is a Marketing Manager for a Las Vegas nightclub called The Bank. She says she's known Tiger for a few years, but's only let him tap on her jahnt a couple times; most recently the weekend of October 23rd, at his hotel in Vegas.
He "allegedly" told her married life isn't all it's cracked up to be and he wasn't happy in his marriage or his home life, and that there was just too much pressure on him.
What ya'll think?
Big shouts to my girl Tiffany Jackson - She started out as a 102 Jamz Dancer and now she's lighting up NBA arenas all over the country; representing for the Miami Heat! you can check her out at www.Heat.com or follow her on twitter at: @TiffanyM7 - Let's make sure we keep supporting our NC talent!! WE LOVE YOU TIFFANY!!!
Because so many Aggies continue to ask me, "How about them Aggies?!" and "Why you so quiet after talking all that trash on the air?!" and "You talk all that junk, but then say nothing after A&T smashes WSSU!" Well to all those people I say: Here's proof that I always straighten my face, and I always give props where props are due. Whatever Aggie Informant snuck this glimpse of me with their camera phone (clearly unbeknowst to me), although I did not do it to prove to people that i'm a Man with Morals, i appreciate you for getting the footage! If it were up to me, the only people who would've known i said these words would've been the NCA&T Football team, but now you will, enjoy:
Star TailBack for Oregon was a bit heated after a loss to Boise State last night. 19-8 was the final score, but The Ducks of Oregon didn't score until late in the 3rd quarter. At the conclusion of the game, Byron Hout of Boise State talked a little TOO much trash, and THIS is what ensued afterwards:
Thing is, LaGarette Blount was making his bid for the heisman this year; after a 4 game suspension for this assault - he has all but killed those chances. I still want you to see his highlight reel that was made to persuade the judges:

Other NFL News: Mike Vick will be playing tomorrow night w/ PHI Eagles vs. Jacksonville.
Today, on the show, we had special guest: Chad OchoCinco; WR for the NFL Cincinatti Bengals. He spoke on the reason for his decline last season, his album âRosetta Stoneâ which comes out on September 15th, his views on Skip Bayless and other media, why you should pick him on your fantasy league and who HIS picks are for Fantasy Football, his âcatch-phrasesâ: including âChild Pleaseâ and the meanings.
There were some exclusive things I wanted to ask, but we were pressed for time:
Rumor has it, Ocho Cinco will be playing QB this Thursday vs. St. Louis and will play defense next Thursday vs. the Colts. You can also catch him on HBO on Wednesday nights at 10pm âHard Knocksâ.
I also wanted to ask these questions, but didnât have time:
1. Him being a kicker and his love for Soccer
2. How far he really expects the Bengals to go
3. His thoughts on the T.O. Show
4. Whatâs life after football look like for Ocho Cinco
5. Is Ocho Cinco dating
6. His Madden information (screen name, team he plays with and what system)
7. How old he was when he lost his virginity and if he still talks to her
8. Kids with dreams of making the NFL, advice to them
Maybe weâll get another interview, and we can make it happen Family. Thanks SO much for yaâlls help!
New music hitting the airwaves and it's none other than Chad OchoCinco, WR for the Cincinatti Bengals. He's teamed up with Wayne and created a song called "Child Please". The question is, is it really Chad OchoCinco? He's singing on tthe hook AND has a verse in the end,
Chad has been VERY vocal via twitter (@OGOchoCinco) promising fans to be back to his Pro Bowl Status this season and NOT the guy we saw plague the fields and the field houses last season. He's already kicked an extra point and a kick off! Should be a fun season!
What do you think about the track?

This is the blog that was supposed to be written by the hands of Mike Vick himself; Mike Vick says he didn't write it. It is also speculated that Russell Simmons wrote the blog from a 1st person persepctive following a conversation that he and Vick had "off the record". Either way, here it is; you be the judge.
**GLOBAL GRIND EXCLUSIVE** I'm sorry. That's the place where I need to begin. My feeling of remorse. I ain't never written a blog before, so putting my thoughts down on paper is a challenge - however it's a challenge I must face. I can look a 250 pound linebacker in his eyes at the line of scrimmage and have no fear. But expressing myself when I know that there are millions of people who are so angry with me, and rightfully so, is a challenge unlike any other I have faced before.
What I did was horrendous. Awful. Inhumane. And I've no excuses for my actions. It makes my heart hurt now to think about what I've done. And I'm gonna be real honest, it took a while for me to get to this place.
Sitting in a prison cell didn't make me feel remorse. It was meeting so many animal lovers, speaking with them and looking them in their eyes. Staring at them. Looking so deep into their eyes that I began to feel their pain. Allowing that pain to enter into my body is when I started to understand how bad it really was. I have been trying hard to connect with people who feel this pain, because for my whole life I was disconnected from the suffering of animals. And you might say, "come on Mike, how could you do those things to those dogs?" And you're right...I
ask myself those questions every day. What kind of person does this? How does a human-being treat dogs or any animal with such pain and cruelty? And the hard part for me is the answer to these questions. Because the answer is ME. And I am trying so hard right now to become a better person, because who I was, I am ashamed of.
Cause see, my whole life has been numb. I was numb to the violence in my community...cause I saw it all the time, ever since I was a child. I mean, how does one grow up in a city that's nickname is Bad Newz? You can probably guess that from the jump, ya' know I've seen some bad things in my life. And football was the only way that I could escape. As a kid, I even used to go out fishing, and most of the times I wouldn't catch a darn thing, but just needed to get away from the chaos every once in a while. So, when the commissioner called my name as the #1 draft pick in the NFL - the first time a black quarterback had ever been chosen as the #1 pick, I thought my life was all good. But, what I didn't realize then, that I have begun to realize now, is that even though I had more money in my pocket, big cars and big houses, I was still numb. And when I say numb, I ain't talkin about not realizing the stuff that was going on around me, it was just like I was living life asleep. However, that is still no excuse for what I did. But let's not forget that there are still hundreds of thousands of young people growing in similar environments and seeing violence at a young age has severe consequences.
Now that I'm trying my best to wake up, I know I have a lot of work to do. And this isn't about trying to win a Super Bowl ring or a MVP trophy...this is about trying to save lives. I think back to when I use to play football and of course I use to see all those kids in the stands wearing #7 jerseys. And I would never want them to look up to the Michael Vick who did all of those terrible things to the dogs. I know where I need to do the most work is with all of the people around the world who continue to fight dogs. Let me be straight forward with y'all: What I did was wrong, and what you're doing is wrong. We must stop dog fighting, and I will do everything in my power to be a voice of someone who has finally woken up from the numbness, and knows just how bad it really is. My mission now is to be a source of service to save many animals. I am working very closely with The Humane Society and will be launching a new campaign shortly. If I had one hope in life, it would be that my actions will speak louder than my words. I know it will be hard to forgive me until you see my sincerity through my actions, but I promise you and I promise myself that that day will come.
Lastly, I accept this challenge, not of writing this blog, but of redeeming myself.

Usain is Insane
Usain Bolt is (insert any synonym to "great" you prefer). I predict right now that UBeezy will run a sub 9.5 before it's all said and done. He says he doesn't run for clock, he runs to win; and i believe him. I want to see him just one time have someone that challenges him. We thought it was Tyson Gay; I mean when else can one run a 9.7 and still come in a distant second?
Sorry for the week off, was on a vacation, but now: WE'RE BACK!!
Last night they had the Hall Of Fame Game: Tennessee Titans vs. Buffalo Bills. A game surrounded by honoring legends of the game; a game where the Titans were honoring their fallen Leader, Steve McNair, with the number 9 on their helmets. Vince Young clearly didn’t get the memo. He was SUB-par. Going 1-5 for 13 yards, an interception, nearly dropped a shotgun pass, and was even reluctant to scramble – being caught from behind by a rookie Linebacker: Nic Harris. Who?!?! WTF?! What happened to the Texas Great Vince Young? The guy who single handedly destroyed a high powered USC team in the Rose Bowl some years back? The guy who seemed inVINCEable – as deemed by ESPN. It’s sad to see such a talent fall apart right in front of our eyes.

Shaquille Oneal, newest star of the LeBum James lead Cleveland Cavaliers had a busy weekend!
He was in DC, and EVERYONE knows Obama loves basketball, so he tweeted:
"Question, I'm in DC, think if I walk up to the White House, they let me in, I know the answer, let me know what you think, oh yeah i'm wearing shorts."
Then he tweeted:
"The White House wouldnt let me in, whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy?
He also hosted WWE's "Monday Night Raw" and he tore into a Kobe Bryant poster and told the Washington Wizards fans that LeBum James told him to tell them hello.
THEN, shaq got into the ring, and it was actually believable; for wrestling. Here's the footage:
As I embark upon this journey to Omaha, Nebraska to film my first motion picture, i still have yet to get excited; about the film. All I can think about is the Nebraska Cornhuskers! That sea of Red and White. The greats i remember watching on Saturday's (my favorites being Tommy Frazier, Lawrence Phillips and Tim Crouch). I just wanna head to the field and stand at the 50 yard line, and Remember the Titans.
Soooooooooooooooooooooooooo, the video surfaced with LeB1tch James getting punched on two hands by Jordan Crawford of Xavier. The sad reality is the dunk wasn't even THAT bad. I mean really, LeB1tch was a tad late in his rotation, hesitated on if he'd even attempt to block it and his indecisiveness got him caught slippin.
What ALSO happens is: The cameras are ALWAYS rolling. Whether it's to catch you not shaking hands after getting smashed in the Conference Finals OR getting dunked on at your OWN Skills Camp. NOONE is exempt.
In case you missed the dunk, here goes: http://bit.ly/Pjfot
THIS is Erin Andrews, and she is HOT! There is a nude tape floating around with her combing her hair in her hotel room, and doing other things in the privacy of her own room. LeBron James continues to disgust me – do I stand alone?
Ummm… Grow up dude.
New recently surfaced that Jordan Crawford, sophomore basketball player at Xavier, was recently participating in LBJ’s Skills Camp in Akron Ohio, and embarrassed Prince James. On Monday night, they had a pickup game, with the ESPN cameras there. Apparently, Jordan took LeBron to the rack and PUNCHED on him with 2 hands. HARD. Immediately the Prince went over to Lynn Merritt, (Sr. Director of NIKE Basketball) had a couple of words, then Merritt approached several cameramen and confiscated the tapes. WTF?!
Apparently Prince James doesn’t take too well to embarrassment; whether it’s losing in a Conference Finals OR getting dunked on in a pick up game, at HIS OWN CAMP.
Memo to LeBron: It happens in your profession, get over it. "Pull your skirt down B. The streets is missing you!" - Rico, Paid in Full.
It’s okay when YOU dunk on people? It’s ok when YOU win an NBA Finals? You GOTTA grow up man; and not just in size you Monster! You need to grow up mentally man. These are reasons you can not be mentioned in the same breaths as MJ and Kobe. 1, you don’t have enough credentials – money doesn’t count – rings, MVPs, etc. 2. You don’t appear to handle controversy well. MJ dealt with gambling AND winning scoring titles, MVPs, but being too selfish to be a Champion. Kobe has dealt with white women in Colorado, and a disgruntled Shaq and the greatest coach of our era stating he was not coachable, and STILL delivered a Championship to the city of Los Angeles.
What have you done? Other than some highlights and an NBA Finals where you were embarrassed by the Spurs; as far as I’m concerned, you’ve added more to the b1tchness of your legacy than the gr8ness. Quit crying, quit hiding, quit running. Live up to the $90 Million Nike gave you before you EVER dribbled on the hardwoods of the NBA and the $100 Million you’ll demand next summer. Instead of hiding the tapes, show em! Show the future! Get your inexperienced homeboys of a management team to sign him – “The Only Player to Shun the King” – Gr8 Marketing!
LeBron James makes my stomach hurt - Pause.
Who was it that said Tyler Hansbrough wouldn’t make a good NBA player?
I know it’s early to speculate his greatness just 2 Summer League games into his NBA Career, but Tyler is doing things the critics said he couldn’t. He’s hitting the 3 ball, he’s putting the ball on the floor, and he’s showing competitive athleticism. In 2 games, he has 40 points and is creating strong mismatches in the post and on the perimeter. Of course Tyler is finishing at the free throw line, evident because he is getting fouled constantly. Brandon Rush and Roy Hibbert are also on the Indiana Summer League team. Other notable players in the Summer League: Oklahoma City – James Harden, Russell Westbrook and Shaun Livingstone; NJ/PHI Chris Douglas-Roberts, Jrue Holiday and Orlando’s: Jeremy Pargo (younger brother of Jannero).
There ARE Sports to watch! They should be televised!
Some of the same people playing in the Orlando Summer League were participating in March Madness – which means, there’s a high level of basketball being played, and we should be able to view it! There are 3 games today, 3 games tomorrow and 3 more on Friday –why aren’t they televised!? There are NFL training camps and workouts popping up all over the country – there should be camera crews there taping for the world to see.
Roger “Mr. Wimbledon” Federer dominates ALL sports by winning his 15th Major. Wow. It ONLY took 4.5 hours and the longest 5th set in Wimbledon History (5-7, 7-6, 7-6, 3-6, 16-14). Federer is hands down the greatest EVER. He passed Pete Sampras (who had 14), he scored 50 Aces (1 short of the record), his 6th Wimbledon, and he’s only 27 years old. My God. His 1st Major was Wimbledon in 2003 (when he was 21) and he broke the record at Wimbledon giving him the name “Mr. Wimbledon” – by me.
I feel sorry for Andy Roddick! He’s been MJ’d by Mr. Wimbledon. (Andy is Roger’s: Pat Ewing, Karl Malone or Charles Barkley) 2003 – Lost to Mr. W in Wimbledon semifinals, 2004- lost to Mr. W in Wimbledon Finals, 2005 – Lost to Mr. W in Wimbledon Finals, 2006 Lost to Mr. W in U.S. Open Finals, 2009 was the accomplice to the best Wimbledon Finals ever, a losing effort to Mr. W.
Funny Points of Reference:
• As SOON as the match was over, the 1st 2 commercial slots were: 30 second commercials praising Mr. Wimbledon for his 15 Majors: That’s a LOT of pressure KNOWING you’ve taped the commercials ALREADY, and having to win; what would’ve run in those spots had he LOST?
• Andy Roddick holding back the tears: 1st, second place is rewarded with a damn silver food tray, while Roger holds up his 6th Wimbledon Trophy. 2nd, having to hear Mr. Wimbledon’s acceptance speech (where Mr. W tells Roddick he knows how it feels to be on the losing end of Wimbledon, because he was there last year. Difference is, Andy has NEVER won, and this was Roger’s first loss!)
It was clearly a situation where Andy felt like, “Damn, you can let me get ONE man! Damn!”
Other Notable Wins in Wimbledon:
• Women’s Single’s: Serena Williams
• Women’s Double’s: Venus and Serena Williams

My Management says that Summer is the slowest time of year sports wise, so that's when the people would like to hear MORE from Thee Daht; Well I'm on it!
Today's game is called "Fill In the Caption!" I got it from a good friend of mine Winston Robinson aka Mr. Wilmo -
This is one of my favorite pictures from The Late Great Michael Jackson - ya'll ain't even KNOW Mike was nice with the ball did you? Or maybe ya'll did.
Check out the picture and let me know what the dialogue is:
Caught a picture of LeBron on vacation. (yeah, i'm a little late with this one, been busy) But this clown has the nerve to wear a t-shirt on his vacvation that reads "Check My Stats". For what? What does stats matter when there is no conclusion of a championship.
I thought LeBron was the ultimate TEAM player. Mr. Magic Johnson reincarnated. "Check MY Stats" doesn't seem too team oriented to me. Sounds like the kid that didn't win, but still wants his accomplishments acknowledged.
That's not how it works Kid James.
The goal at the begginnning of the season is NOT "who can get the best stats?" The question is not "can I get MVP?" The question is: "Can we win the Championship?" And until you get OFF your high horse and your dang stats, and focus on winning a 'Ship, you'll NEVER get one.
Shaq or Not.
Reggie Miller hath claimed there is NOTHING wrong with his stomach tattoo. A simple question for my viewers:
I there anything wrong with a MAN having a tattoo around his navel?
Hilarious none the less. Reggie should be ashamed of himself. He might as well have a "Tramp Stamp" on his back!
Wow. That’s how you do? No handshake, no head nod, no “good luck in the Finals Olympic teammate”, no “represent the East well”? Nothing?! You just put on your headphones and leave the building? WTF?
You don’t think MJ had to face the media when he lost to Detroit in 6 in 89; what about in 7 the next year? Did Kobe speak to the media after losing to the Celtics in 6? You don’t think he was upset? You think he WANTED to be asked how he lost, why he lost, and blah, blah, blah? Had Kobe pulled that stunt he’d STILL be getting crucified.
And for you to use an excuse:
“It’s hard for me to congratulate someone after you just lose to them. I’m a winner. It’s not being a poor sport or anything like that. If somebody beats you up, you’re not going to congratulate them. That doesn’t make sense to me.”
That’s the most ridiculous foolishness I’ve ever heard.
CLEARLY you’re not a winner, but an Eastern Conference Finals loser; in 6. It most definitely IS being a poor sport. If you get beat up, in contest, AS a competitor you show respect when you’ve been beat up all over the basketball court. When boxers get knocked unconscious, they get the smelling salt, wake the hell up, and shake the man’s hand that put them to sleep. You should’ve shaken the hand that put you to sleep, or hugged his massive shoulders.
The reality of the situation is, you were embarrassed Baby Bron. Awww. We’ve all been there. I remember coming back from a school trip in 3rd grade; I pooped my pants and had to blame it on other people the whole way back to school. Pretty embarrassing; guess you kind of pooped your pants too huh? Difference is the whole world saw your stains.
The Magic were just better LeBron. Beat ya’ll 5 straight times in Orlando, and beat snot out of you and your “team” in 6 in the Eastern Conference Finals; to walk off the court without speaking is Bad Form Baby Bron.
We watched you throw chalk in the air before EVERY game, we watched you take faux pictures with your teammates when blowing out Detroit, Atlanta, and all other games en route to 66 wins. We watched the MVP Puppets, we watched you accept your MVP award, we watched you shoot half court shots in practice and games alike. We’ve had to stomach ALL the LeBron they’ve shoved down our throats – pause – now we get to throw it up.
Now go home and watch DISNEYWORLD vs. DISNEYLAND like the rest of the world.
Your brother in Christ,
